Mine was only moved from the end of the row to Anne's left so I just switched the names to keep my desk and nobody seemed the wiser. We were not the "noise" problem anyway

Tang and Tyler seem to be doing well. They have had their milk and Tang his shot. Treats will come later. I also put the food out for the local waifs when we got home to our waiting regulars.

Had to do some follow up telephone work this morning to get the results of the bone density scan that was done 2 years ago sent to the hospital in Lynchburg so that they will have them to compare with the scan that is scheduled to be done 1/6/2020. I FAXED the requests with the appropriate release forms on 11/25. I'm glad I'm no longer relying on the hospital system that did the scan 2 years ago - - it took numerous telephone calls and being transferred to inappropriate "departments" until I finally spoke with the appropriate people who actually are responsible for transferring the records. Sweet Buster has come for a visit and is taking a nap on my bed as I'm writing to you.

I'm glad you and Anne have a decent paying job, although it's not on your top 10 list of things you'd like to be doing. Still it helps you to be financially solvent for both of you and your precious boys.

I didn't get my infusion today as it was scheduled. The medical records department where I get them done had received the order for the new medication but didn't pass it along to the staff at the place where I get the infusions. So I have to wait until next week to begin my new medication. I'm hoping it won't be any longer than that. Sweet Buster has been by a couple of times to spend some time with me, although with the bright sunbeams today he's enjoying being out and about. He left a few minutes ago to go check out his "domain". He may return a little later.

We may be starting our "real" work" sooner than usual as we and some others were pulled into a conference room and asked if we feel comfortable enough to get credentialed what ever that means. I think it means they will put us to work processing copay card assistance only apps (providers have done the benefit investigation already) Who knows.

It's been a quiet day here. I did get a call this morning from the scheduling nurse that the infusion center will be able to get the drug and I have an appointment scheduled for this coming Thursday, 12/12, at 1:15 p.m.. The not so jolly news is that my next infusion will be the day after Christmas, 12/26, per the protocol: the initial infusion, then another one 2 weeks after followed by another infusion 4 weeks later, then regular infusion intervals every 8 weeks. The good news is that I can continue to get my infusions here at the Bedford infusion center which makes life much easier for both my brother and me. Have been getting caught up on a couple of emails today. Sweet Buster has been by to visit me a couple of times. He stayed to take a nap on my bed but about 30 minutes ago decided it was time for him to make his neighborhood rounds again. He may return again later.

Full time? HA No it just means they want to put us to work earlier. So much for those 8 weeks of training. But given that our trainer can't seem to read or orate above a 5th grade level, I guess it's for the best I'm pretty sure he learned the process by rote and has no idea why the components work the way they do.

Tang and Tyler seem to be doing OK. I'm trying an experiment of putting one of the food bowls upstairs where the extra water bowl already was. I'm hoping this will lessen the squabbles over food. Tyler is fast, but he can't be in 2 places at once. They have both had their milk and treats and Tang his shot. Both rounds of food have been put out for the local waifs as well.

WE went to a rare indoor flea off market downtown in the convention center today after lunch. Oddly enough it didn't seem as big as the outside ones even though the space was massive.

As far as the food squabbles go, it's all Tyler - to the point of bullying Tang. Anne things it's more him wanting to interact but I have my doubts. Moving the food seems to have helped some, but I guess we'll see. They have both had their milk, Tang his shot and treats will be later. I just got done putting the 2nd round of food out. Just saw Tyke that time, but all 3 were waiting on the 1st round.

We went first thing this morning to feed the waifs at the old place but I saw neither waifs or people. So at least I didn't have to deal with that. Then we went to Dollar Tree and Kroger to get provisions for the week. Then we just came home and had lunch and watched a movie. Antman. It's so weird how they digitally make Michael Douglass look younger in the flash back sequence. They did the same thing with Kurt Russel in Guardians of the Galaxy and it was just as freaky.

Tang and Tyler are doing OK. They've just had their milk. I'll give Tang his shot and put out the treats later. I also put out the first round of food for the local waifs. I only saw Tyke this time. He's so funny. He will come up to where I'm putting the food out (right up to the bowls and my hand) and alternately meow and hiss. But he chows down never the less.

Both rounds of food have been put out for the local waifs, but I've only seen Tyke. Perhaps he's getting old enough to be on his own. But I hope he's not aggressive it taking the territory away from Tabby and Socks.

Today was errand day. The Bonsack Food Lion didn't have a couple of things that the Bedford store has, so I will need to make a stop there to complete my grocery list for the remainder of the year and into early next year. I absolutely abhor shopping in the stores and driving in traffic during the holidays. Sweet Buster was waiting for me when I got back, and is now settled on my bed taking a nap as I'm writing to you.

Have been busy getting the checkbook updated with expenses from my errands yesterday. And my payment for my internet service provider was finally posted. So I have changed my payment method to be automatic payment via a credit card. That way it will be posted to my credit card and I can pay that via my bank's online bill pay without any fuss. Yes, the assignment is temp. The end date on the time keeping program is 03/31/2019, which I'm sure is an estimate. There is always the chance of getting on FTE, but I really have misgivings about working for a company that's on government probation over messing with injectable medication that could have resulted in useless meds at best and killing thousands at worst. All to make an extra 99 million that resulted in being watched and having to pay 800 million in restitution

We went to a holiday themed flea market at the Expo Center today that was kind of a bust. Oh, it was plenty big with 750 booths, but over crowded due to the promoter only using half the south wing

Tang and Tyler are doing OK I guess, but Tyler's aggression is starting to get a little out of hand. I really think he only does it when we're home (at least I hope so) They both need to see the vet when it's feasible anyway. They have both had their milk and Tang his shot. Treats will come later. I also have put out both rounds of food for the local waifs.

We didn't do a lot today. First we went to the old place to feed the waifs, but I didn't see any. But we still go every week. After that we went to Dollar Tree and Kroger to finish up the week's provision and home again for lunch and some streaming.

Have worked on a couple of creative projects on the computer today. Late yesterday afternoon I called the computer tech to get a status on the process of updating my lap top to W10. I was informed that a simple upgrade wasn't going very well, that it appears the hard drive needs to be wiped and W10 installed. Fortunately this won't increase the cost. At this rate I may not get the lap top back until after Christmas. Sweet Buster has been by to visit me and took a nap on my bed for awhile. He left a few minutes ago to do his afternoon neighborhood rounds.

We managed to pick up Monday as voluntary 8:30-5:30. We could have picked up Tuesday too, but we really don't want to work Christmas Eve. We didn't do that last time because it was the middle of the week and we work evenings and hated the thought of having to come right back in there so early.

Tang and Tyler are doing OK. They have had their milk and treats and Tang his shot. Both rounds have been put out for the local waifs. Poor Tabby was trying to get some of the first round of food and Socks swiped at her. I guess the cold weather is making for more food desperation Anne said she got the 2nd round though along with Tyke.

The only time I see Bonnie now is if I see her in the common driveway as she's either going out on her rounds or returning home. She rarely ever comes here to visit anymore.

In preparation for my bone density scan in Lynchburg on 1/6/2020, I took a "dry run" drive this morning to familiarize myself with the route and location of the hospital. I'm glad I did, and it went relatively smoothly. On the way back I pulled into a couple of business parking lots to make notes about landmarks at the intersections I need to make turns at so that I would recognize them a little easier. Sweet Buster hasn't been by yet today for a visit. I think his mom and dad went out shortly after I got back, and he may be safely inside his home. I'm hoping he'll come by later on for a visit.

We went to feed the waifs at my old place first thing this morning and I did see Little Gray by the pool area feeding place. She seemed happy to see me.

Then we just did the usual Dollar Tree and Kroger for weekly supplies. I'm going to put together a modest holiday meal for us for Christmas Eve. Then I'll make the deviled eggs everyone seems to like so much and Anne's making her cornbread.

Tang and Tyler are doing OK. They have had their milk and and Tang his shot with treats to come later. I have not put the 2nd round of food out for the waifs as I only saw Tyke and half the can food is still out there.

So glad you saw Little Gray yesterday when you and Anne provisioned the waifs at your previous residence. Of course she was glad to see you and she still remembers you and recognizes you as a friend. I'm sure she has told all the other community waifs about your visit. Sounds like you, Anne, and your precious boys had a pleasant quality family time together yesterday.

Got an email from sweet Buster's mom late yesterday afternoon letting me know that he was not feeling well. Evidently he had been attacked and his leg was swollen. His mom and dad took him to his doctor this morning and he required emergency surgery to treat the wound. He had a temperature of 105 degrees which is critical in cats. He came through the surgery like the precious soldier he is and will be staying overnight at the hospital for observation and pain control. He will have a drain in his leg when he comes home which is anticipated to be tomorrow morning. So he won't be "out and about" for awhile. He'll return to see his doctor on 12/26 to have the drain removed. I will request visiting hour privileges after the drain is removed. On another bit of news I tried to pick up my computers this morning only to find a sign on the door that the store is closed through Saturday, 12/28. It would have been nice if the tech had put that in his email on Friday letting me know they were ready for pick up. I presume the store will be open next Monday, 12/30, but I'll call first before I attempt going there.

Have been working on a few projects today trying to get some things organized for the early days of next year. Buster's mom called to invite me to visit her sweet Buster. He was resting comfortably on their sofa. I sat down next to him and lightly stroked his head. He has a plastic E-collar on. His mom took it off when they got home. Just as soon as she did that he started picking at the drain in his leg so the collar went right back on. He will be grounded for awhile until his leg is healed, but I know keeping him inside until that happens is going to be a challenge. I don't know if I"ll be on the forum tomorrow since I will be spending most of the day with my brother and family. And I imagine you and Anne will be with Anne's family, too. Just wanted to let you know so that you wouldn't be concerned. Yesterday was very enjoyable with my brother, sister in law, nephew, and niece and her family. Maya is 8 years old and is a very active - - and happy - - little girl. She is absolutely bonkers about her Uncle Matthew!!! And he adores his niece. My niece and her family left today to return to their home in Connecticut. Have been busy today getting thank you note cards prepared and a few odds and ends of financial paperwork filed in preparation for the coming new year.

We had a nice enough time. Anne's father wasn't very talkative and spoke not one word to me, which is fine Work was same old same old today.

Tang and Tyler are doing OK. they have both had their milk, Tang his shot and the treats. I just got done putting the 2nd round of food out for the local waifs too.

Much to my surprise sweet Buster is out and about again doing his neighborhood visits. His leg is still bare from needing it shaved for surgery. He's been here several times today to say "hi". Have been busy getting financials up to date. Was able to take a walk this afternoon. It was nice to do that since it's been a month since I took my last one.

We didn't get paid this morning to everyone's chagrin and there was almost a riot. We finally did get our deposits around 3:30 though. They're talking about going live 12/30 instead of 01/02 which given their ineptitude, I have my doubts we'll even be live by 01/02

Tang and Tyler are doing OK, They have had their milk and treats and Tang his shot. I put out the first round of food (Socks and Tyke) and Anne put out the 2nd while I was in the shower.

I'm very glad you finally got your paychecks deposited to your accounts before the end of the day yesterday. By going "live" at work do I understand correctly that this will mean you and Anne will be considered "full time employees"?

I understand your reservations about Buster's mom and dad letting him outside in the still very early stages of his recovery from the injury. They do love their companion animals but have some different approaches to their care. From what I've observed during his visits I don't think he's feeling quite up to his full "sassy" self yet, but his leg does appear to be healing okay. I'm so glad he knows this is a safe place where he can come to visit. He's been here several times today, and is stretched out on my bed taking a nap as I'm writing to you. Have been working on a couple of "creative" projects on my desk top today. Not much else happening around the condo complex.

No, we will likely never be FTE. It just means we will be calling actual insurance companies to verify benefits for actual patients. Again, I'm skeptical they will be ready.

Today after lunch we decided to go to the zoo. The African elephant Mikki had her baby (named Fitz in a voting poll) in August and they are finally letting folks see him and his mom. He's really cute. At one point, he picked up a rock with his little trunk and and ran after his mother as if to say "Mommy, mommy! Look what I found!" The Big Cats of the Americas (including the eagles) are off exhibit while they expand their enclosures, But the jaguar and snow leopards were out. The male lion was quite active too for a change.

Tang and Tyler are doing OK. Tang has had his shot they have both had their milk. The treats will come later. I also put out the first round of food for the local waifs but didn't see any of them.

Just getting caught up on a couple of emails today. Sweet Buster was here for a nice visit. He settled down on my bed for a nice nap. He left about 15 minutes ago to do his afternoon rounds. He seems to be doing okay in his recovery.

Hello moon_beam. Rainy day greetings to you. I hope you are doing well. I'm glad to hear Buster came to visit and hoping his recovery will be speedy.

Since it's been raining steady all day (hard at times) we weren't able to put food out for the waifs at my old place. Experience has taught me given the placement of the food stations in relation to where they take cover makes it a waste of time and food But I hope they are doing OK.

We didn't do much but make our trek to Dollar Tree and Kroger for the rest of the week's provisions and back home again. Tang and Tyler are doing OK. They have both had their milk and I'm about to give Tang his shot. Treats will come later and I put both rounds of the can food (given the rain and the tuna yields less than the pate) for the local waifs. I'll check the dry food periodically.

I was able to get my lap top today and have been slaving to get it set up, programs installed and working, etc.. It's a challenge even though it's only been a few weeks since I went through this similar drill setting up my new W10 desk top. Sweet Buster has been here keeping me company for most of the day. He left about 45 minutes ago to do his evening rounds before going home for the night.
