Hello moon_beam. Sunny, breezy and mild greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both well. Sorry to hear your temps took a plunge today - I hope it warms up again so you both can have the big door open to enjoy nature.
Work was totally dead today but for a few spurts (30 at most in queue) I didn't think I was going to get VTO when WFM sent out an email stating preference would be given to anybody willing to work an extra hour tomorrow (as if) Not many (if any) people seem to have taken the "incentive" as another email stating VTO for "everybody else" was now avail available. I was able to get my Dollar Tree trip done and still get home about an hour earlier than normal.
Since I'm tried of going to "rescue" my bowls, I bought a pack of 15 good sized disposable bowls and 1 LB bag of dry food at Dollar Tree so I could feed the waifs on the way in. Didn't see them, but I was through there earlier than they expect me.
Theresa and Tang were pleasantly surprised at my entrance, and in a roll reversal Theresa met me at the door and I had to go look for Tang. He found me first though as I went to the kitchen to put down my bags

Both are well, which I'm always pleased to report.
I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny gusty windy chilly T G I F greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.
So glad you were able to get an early release from work yesterday which helped you get your errands done and home to your precious fur tribe earlier than usual. I hope you were able to get your chores done early today so that you and your precious companions can enjoy most of this day together. I can understand the aggravation of searching for the bowls for the homeless waifs, and am glad you have found a satisfactory "alternative" to providing their meals.
Not much news to share with you today. Was able to make the trek to the special trash bins a couple of hours ago and now the garage has a little bit more room in it - - once again. My precious Noah was waiting for me at the bottom of the steps to the basement living quarters when I got back home, and is now eagerly looking forward to lunch appearing in his bowl.
I hope today is treating you and your precious Theresa and little Tang kindly, my friend, and that you and your precious companions will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious Teresa and little Tang. Please know you and your precious companions are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to knowing how you and your precious Theresa and little Tang are doing, and to sharing your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

Hello moon_beam. Overcast and cool TGIF greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both well. Glad to hear you were able to make more room in your garage.
I got up at 5:30 and had the laundry room to myself. In between I thought I'd take advantage of the twilight quiet and put food out for the waifs. Ironically, the disposable bowl was still there
I got to Save a Lot right at opening and got my shopping done in about 15 minutes since I was about the only one there. This allowed me to get the 8:20 UPS bus home. So, I really did have more time with Theresa and Tang
Both are well which is always nice to report. We had a lovely few moments a little while ago on the sofa. I pulled a pillow onto my legs which Tang immediately took as an invitation to lay down and have a bath which included my arm

Not to be left out, Theresa came to curl up on my chest. I was then treated to stereo purring
Not much else happening. I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Hi Tracy.....Happy TGIF evening to you, Lt. Tang, and Princess Theresa!.. I'm glad the furbabies are doing well. We are ok and not much going on here and that's a good thing.
Sounds like you are putting out quite an effort feeding the little waifs. You will be blessed. Fluffy and Socks still come by for breakfast and supper. Sometimes one or the other is missing, but shows up later. Fluffy and Socks are pretty good friends now. The other day Socks was sitting in the grass like a statue watching Fluffy roll in front of him. Socks looked up at me as if to say, "Look how silly Fluffy is acting".

.......Fluffy is real loving toward us. She followed me on the patio this evening, loved my legs awhile, then took off down the back yard and over the fence. As if to say "Thanks for supper, but I'm going home now." I do believe she belongs to somebody. She is my favorite of all and also doesn't bother the birds.
I hope you and furbabies have a peaceful and cozy evening. Always thinking of angels Sir Tom and Mickey..God Bless.....TTFN

hello LMM. I hope you, hubby, and your waifs are doing well.
Glad to hear Fluffy and Socks are getting along. I can relate to the scenario you described as Theresa and Tang do the same thing. I'm glad your are there to look out for Fluffy - if she is "owned" the owners are very irresponsible to let her run free like that.
Just a lazy, rainy Caturday here. Theresa and Tang are both well. I hope you all have a good day and evening with Angels Micky and Sir Thomas looking over us. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, cloudy chilly forecasted to be rainy Caturday greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.
So glad you were able to get your chores and errands done quickly yesterday so that you and your precious fur tribe could enjoy the majority of the day together, and hopefully can have a lazy Caturday together as well.
The laser cartridge for my Canon printer finally arrived yesterday evening. Supposedly the postal service is still providing package deliveries locally rather than shipping them to North Carolina for processing first, but I suspect UPS and FedEx will be picking up the bulk of package delivery in the region which will make deliveries here in the rural areas more in the evening hours. Have been working on the big desk top today and now have it running its security updates and scans. My precious Noah is keeping me faithful company with everything.
It seems the news bag is on the light side for today. I hope today is treating you and your precious Theresa and little Tang kindly, my friend, and that you and your precious companions will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious Teresa and little Tang. Hello moon_beam. Cloudy, cool and sometimes rainy Caturday greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both well. Glad to hear your cartridge arrived so you can get your printing done.
IRS finally approved my tax refund. They took a good portion of it for my 2012 return. Apparently even though I didn't think it counted for much, filing without my UE W2 (because they never sent it and I couldn't get a copy in time) cost me a lot. But, I'm still getting 254.00 back which is still nice. And the IRS will be off my back.
Been a lazy Caturday here. Got up around 6:30 to give Tang his insulin, freshen the dry food and water, clean out the litter boxes, and put out food for the waifs. Disposable bowl is still out there and was again when I just did the second round. Figures, because it's disposable and I don't care, nobody touches it. I saw the other gray tabby waiting there, and I just looked out and saw the Siamese at bowl closest to me. The morning food got a tad damp, but it's still good with the dry I topped them off with.
Theresa ad Tang are well, I'm always happy to report. Tang repeated his bath ritual on the pillow earlier and Theresa is napping in her carrier - HER carrier (the pink one) like she knows it's hers

Not much else going on here.
I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN.

Hi, Tracy, cloudy, rainy, chilly Sunday greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.
So glad your IRS situation is settled. I know this takes a huge burden off your mind - - and finances. And I'm so glad you are seeing more of your waifs which I know is encouraging to you that they endured through the horrendous flooding.
Not much going on around here today. Have fired up the space heaters again to keep the damp chill out of the air as temps are only in the 40's again today. My precious Noah is doing well and enjoying the warmth of the space heater as I'm writing to you.
Soon you will begin your travels home, if they are not already in progress, where your precious fur tribe are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their Forever Dad. Hello moon_beam. Sunny and mild greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both well. Sorry to hear you had a bit of a cold snap and hope it warms up soon.
Work was a mixed bag of busy and slow. Just as I was sitting down for my 1 on 1 my sup noticed people leaving and asked if they got VTO (yes) He said they often won't include people scheduled for conference and he tried to get me in on it - of course they said no. He tries to see the best in people but is just so naive about the "social cliques" that drive a call center (it's always the same people who get to leave)
Looks like I am going to miss my bonus by a lousy 1/2 point unless I can pull a miracle in the next week (unlikely) so the tax refund is timed well. I did make a 3.15 for the year though. Yes, I've been in this pit for a year day after tomorrow (sigh) I'm told there will some kind of pay increase (small I'm sure)
Travels home were timely and I stopped at Feeders on the way home to get more Iams Mature dry, Whiska Likins treats and a case of Fancy Feast. The thinking being the tiny containers would more or less be a meal for Tang w/o having to refrigerate (I think I've figured out he won't eat anything cold) but he turned his nose up at it (sigh) as did Theresa. The cashier did say I could bring it back for a pro-rated refund if this was the case. Otherwise, both are well.
I hope today has treated you and Noah kindly and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny gusty windy a bit warmer Monday greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.
Sorry about the possibility of your missing a bonus this time around, but keep on trying just the same. I was thinking it will be a year about this time that you began this job. I know it has been a difficult year for you, my friend, but it is one you have endured through with many obstacles to overcome, and still have a job in spite of them. This is to YOUR credit, my friend. Just keep doing the great job you're doing while keeping your options open for other opportunities.
Just when we think we have "figured out" our companion's "attitude" they show us they still "out smart" us, as you share with us about your precious Tang: "(I think I've figured out he won't eat anything cold) but he turned his nose up at it (sigh) as did Theresa." I can imagine your consternation at this point. The good news is that you can return the food if he, and Theresa, continues to refuse it. The "hoops we jump through" to try to please our companions - - and when all is said and done we wouldn't have it any other way!!!
It has been online bill payment day and thank goodness I now have everything scheduled except for two bills that I'm waiting on invoices for. My bank has "re-invented" the website and it is definitely not user friendly for me - - rather it is now designed for people who use their phones to pay their bills - - which is very, very frustrating. So I sent the "tech" people my comment letting them know that the online website is not user friendly for the "simple minded" folks like me. I know it won't make any difference, but at least I have given them my "two cents" feedback.
My precious Noah has been keeping me faithful company through all activities, and is enjoying the sunbeams today, as am I. Temps are close to 60 degrees today - - a very welcome change from the 40's over the last few days. Put a load of laundry in before I got started on the financials which is now ready to be put in the dryer. The laundry cart is now empty.
Soon it will be time to get some lunch in my precious boy's bowl, so will get this off to you. I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang will have a very peaceful, blissful, cozy evening. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious companions. Hello moon_beam. Sunny, pleasant spring like greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both well. Sorry to hear you still have chilly temps and your bank's new web site isn't very user friendly. I feel you on that. I have not been able to pay my Time Warner bill online for 2 months as it keeps freaking out every time I do and I'm afraid of being double charged.
Today was a typical Monday slacking off at 4:00, but no VTO (for me anyway) Now they are offering to let people go home early with pay on Thursday for the parade to who ever sells the most magazines with new subs. No thanks, I don't do sales, never will and the "rewards" are not enough anyway. Does't affect my QA anyway. Speaking of which I'm only 9 seconds off my AHT, so I hope if I keep over 4 minutes this week I'll barely squeak by.
The trip home was right out of Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. The UPS bus was late due to a breakdown before it got to us, then it broke down again as we were almost out of downtown

We all got on the Mall bus right behind us, but that driver noticed the other bus was going again and let me off to catch it. Upside is with the bus virtually empty we went from 17 minutes late to 10. And that driver always lets me off right by my apartment entrance.
Coming down the pat,h both tux waifs were waiting for me and one even started to follow me. A new black once has showed up at the far colony too. Theresa and Tang are well. There was just enough food in the container to give Theresa and I opened a new can of Friskies to give Tang; so both ate tonight

I'll try to return the Fancy Feast later this week (note to self: when trying something new, just buy one can/pouch)
I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny cool Tuesday greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.
It is always a blessing sharing your news that your precious fur tribe is doing well. It sounds like the waifs are also thriving under your provision and protection. It would not surprise me that the word is spreading around the homeless colonies where waifs can come to get a good meal.
This morning was a "marathoner". I needed to do some grocery shopping but didn't want to wait until after my dental appointment to do it because today is "senior discount" day at the store. So, after I got Noah his breakfast at 6 AM I got ready to go to the store. Was able to get everything on my list and checked out, and got home so that I could put the perishables away. I was able to get back on the road to keep my dental appointment at 9 AM. So it has been a busy morning here, and I'm so glad to be back home with my precious Noah.
It's nice to see the sun shining bright and cheery today with temps warming close to 60 degrees. However, the sunbeams are short-lived as rain is forecasted beginning tomorrow and lasting perhaps through Friday. I'm still waiting for that "window of opportunity" to do the first mowing in the front yard which needs to be done now before any fertilizer can be applied.
My precious Noah is doing well. He is enjoying the warmth of the space heater as I'm writing to you - - helping to take a bit of the chill off with the cooler temps. Soon it will be time to get some lunch in his bowl.
I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang will have a very peaceful, blissful, cozy evening. Hello moon_beam. Sunny and pleasant greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both well. Sounds like you got a lot done today my friend. I'm glad you were able to get everything done and home to your baby.
I have never hated my job more than today. Our queue DIED at 12:00 and pretty much stayed that way - except (guess when?) Yup when the started handing out VTO to anybody and everybody who is NOT me. But even those didn't last. At least 3 people who get off at the same time as me but come in an hour later went early. Here's a good one. The guy in WFM says to a guy on Saves "Where's my cookies?" Saves guy says "Where's my VTO?" Yup he got to leave early too. I don't care what my deliberately naive sup says, this the kind of thing they do to people they don't like to try to make them quit
On top of that, while my bus home was right on time, every traffic nightmare known to man came up putting us 20 minutes late - I hate Derby week.
Only one Tux was waiting for me on the back path (the one who follows me) Theresa and Tang are well. Only Theresa ate the can food tonight - at first. As I was picking up her leavings from the second bowl, Tang came barreling into the kitchen as if to sat "WAIT dad! I changed my mind!" Stinker

Sorry you didn't get the early release yesterday. I know that they help you in your commute. Just keep doing the great job you're doing while keeping your options open for other opportunities.
I'm chuckling about your precious little Tang scurrying into the kitchen for the left-overs. He knows he has you wrapped around his paws - - and we know our lives are forever blessed.
Not much happening around the homestead today. Noah and I blissfully slept in this morning after getting his breakfast around 6 a.m.. I have made an appointment to take my car in for its annual service and State inspection next Wednesday, 5/6. That will be an early rise day to get the car into service by 7:30 a.m., but will be back home after dropping it off. Am doing the security updates and scan on the big desk top which should be done by the time I need to get Noah's lunch ready for him.

Hello moon_beam. Partly sunny and mild greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both well. Hope all goes well with your vehicle inspection.
Today was pretty much a mirror of yesterday except it died sooner. VTO all around except for me

I don't even bother trying to talk to my sup about these slights. He's too busy burying his head in the sand and drinking the company Kool-Aid. There are no true leaders in the work place anymore who look out for their people. Just people covering their backsides waiting for retirement.
But I did see the aftermath of 3 car accidents today - 2 on the way in to work waiting for my bus about a mile apart, and the other waiting for my bus home. It was not as late as last night, but close. Derby Week (sigh)
I was bringing out the 2 bowls of food for the waifs when 2 dog people decided present some united front I guess, trying to block my path. I just walked up on the grass around them and set the bowl down by the hole in the fence and then delivered the other one. They were both glaring at me on my way back. I glared back as if to say "Go ahead and try to mess with these cats. See what happens" 3 of the waifs stood behind me as if they knew they were safe. They moved along. I don't know why so many dog people have to be nasty to cats. Cat people aren't like that to dogs. But it's the mindset I guess. I recently learned that while humans domesticated dogs, cats domesticated themselves.
Theresa and Tang are both well. They didn't brow beat me for can food, so I didn't bother tonight. I guess they decided to give me a break. I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sometimes sunny turning cloudy pleasant Thursday greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.
I'm so glad the homeless waifs know they have you for their provider and protector. Sadly cats have historically been villified in cultures, literature, myth, and reiligions - - much the same as what has been done to wolves. The historical exception to this that comes to mind is the ancient Egyptians who actually made cats "gods" and provided them a royality status in their society. In the least mind-set, cats are tolerated for their ability to keep the rat and mice population to a minimum - - otherwise the homeless waifs are considered to be pests themselves. I know your beloved Sir Thomas is very proud of you for everything you do for the waifs, and for whatever it is worth - - so am I.
The birds are singing cheerily today and my precious Noah is enjoying watching the woodland residents from the comfort of his bench in front of the big door windows. Not much happening around the homestead today.
Just a few more hours to get through and then you will be heading home to your precious fur tribe who are always ecstatic to have their Forever Dad home. I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang will have a very peaceful, blissful, cozy evening. Hello moon_beam. Sometimes sunny and cooler greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope hope you are both well, and glad that he could enjoy the woodland creatures today.
As to cats being villified, to be blunt, people who say they "hate" cats tend to be of limited intelligence. I will continue to feed them and look out for them. I hope Tom is proud of my work, and I am gratified to hear you are too - it is worth a lot.
Same old at work except - you guessed it - dead even earlier (I'm seeing a pattern here) BUT this time I got VTO at 2:25, leaving me plenty of time to get to the 2:45 UPS bus which was right on time. Until we hit Eastern Parkway just past U of L. Then it was a bumper to bumper parking lot there and most of they way down Preston Highway. But it was headed in the opposite direction from downtown (parade) or Churchill Downs. Where these people were going I do not know

By the time I got done with my errands (I walked home rather than wait for another bus) I was only 25 minutes later than I would have been. And that's still pretty good.
Looks like a storm brewing, but I got food out for the waifs. I think they will have enough time to eat before it hits. Theresa and Tang are both well and enjoying having dad home early

Hi, Tracy, cloudy cool sometimes rainy T G I F greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.
SOOOOOOoooooo glad you were able to get an early off yesterday, which was a great help to you in getting your errands done and home to your precious fur tribe. I hope you do not have to go out again until Sunday for your travels to work. Although I do enjoy watching the Derby, I do perfectly understand your angst for the traffic snarls the Derby brings to your area. Hopefully you will not have to contend with it in your work travels on Sunday.
Not much happening here today. Have scheduled my cell phone payment online this morning. My precious Noah has just roused from the blankets and has come to give me a Noah greeting and purrs. He is settled here on the desk keeping me faithful company as I'm writing to you. I sure do hope the weather begins to clear so that I can get some yard work done tomorrow. I needed to put the grass catcher on the Husqvarna mower which I will be using tomorrow - - or whenever the weather allows me to mow. The theory is that the grass catcher attachment will save me from having to rake and dispose of the grass cuttings before I can apply the fertilizer. In order to convert the mower from mulching (which I use all the time) to a bagger, I needed to remove the mulching funnel. So when I went to get the mail yesterday evening, I did that - - only to discover that it was packed solid with years of grass and leaf debris. So I now know that I need to clean this out at least at the end of every mowing season - - if not a couple of times during the mowing season. I did not realize this was a necessity before now. I guess this "old dog" can still learn a few things.
I hope you were able to get your chores done early today so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang can enjoy most of this day together and can have a peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious companions. Please know you and your precious Theresa and little Tang are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to knowing how you and your precious companions are doing, and to sharing your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

Hello moon_beam. Sunny and pleasant spring TGIF greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope all works out with the weather and your equipment for your yard work. Pace yourself and don't try to do too much.
Got my laundry done bright and early with no interference. Since I did Dollar Tree yesterday, all I had was Save a Lot today. I didn't get done in time to catch the 8:20 bus home, so I had to walk. I still got home by 8:45.
I have been spending the day relaxing with Theresa and Tang who are both doing well. Cuddles and purrs all around

I just got done checking the mail and putting out a second round of food for the waifs. Some from this morning had been eaten, but not much. So I just topped off the bowls. While doing this, I saw two white butterflies. Perhaps Sir Thomas saying "Good job, dad".

Hi Tracy, Happy T.G.I.F. evening to you, Lt. Tang, and Princess Theresa. I'm glad they are doing well. I know Derby week is a mess trying to get around in your area. I have been seeing a lot of it on the news. And I got to thinking (bad Idea)

I''d rather see all those happy people than to see all that other stuff that is happening.
Well, I'm pretty sure we found out what happened to Smokey. Yesterday hubby stopped the lawn mower man to tell him not to mow down my flowers that were coming up. The guy said he smelled something down by our back fence one week, looked like a gray cat. The next time he came by it was gone. There's a lot of bushes along the fence, so I wouldn't have noticed anything from the kitchen window.......I feel bad for my hubby, he liked Smokey. He likes Fluffy and Socks too, but I think he is trying not to get too attached to any.
Fluffy and Socks still come by to eat. It's strange how Fluffy showed up after Smokey disappeared, similar personality and looks, but with long hair. Wonder if Mickey sent him?
It was good to hear about you seeing the white butterflies. I bet Sir Tom did send them saying you are doing a great job feeding the little waifs.........Have a pleasant and cozy night with your furbabies and have a blessed weekend.....TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny pleasant Caturday greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.
Glad you were able to get your chores and errands done early yesterday, and hope you and your precious fur tribe are enjoying a lazy day together today. Perhaps some balcony time?
I was up a little past 8 a.m. this morning to get chores done and into my yard work clothes. I was able to mow the front yard and the upper part of the back yard on the garage end of the house. The bagger to the Husqvarna did a wonderful job collecting the grass clippings - - which totaled 7 full loads in the 43 gallon Toro barrel. The entire job took me about 3 hours which included a "time out" in the garage. So - - now - - hopefully, I can get some fertilizer down in the front yard on Monday - - weather permitting. It feels soooo good to finally have the first mowing done in the front yard.
My precious Noah is glad to see me finally settled down from chores, and I am so glad to be settled down with him as well.
LoveMyMickey - - please permit me to add my sincerest sympathies in the physical loss of Smokey. Even the homeless waifs find a place in our hearts, and I'm certain that your beloved Mickey and Smokey sent Fluffy to you knowing that he / she would find compassionate care with you and your husband.
Soon I will need to start getting lunch ready for both my precious Noah and me, so will get this off to you, Tracy. I hope today is treating you and your precious Theresa and little Tang kindly, my friend, and that you and your precious companions will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious Theresa and little Tang. Please know you and your precious companions are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to knowing how you and your precious Theresa and little Tang are doing, and to sharing your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

Hello moon_beam. Sunny and much warmer Caturday greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both well. Sounds like you got a lot done outside today (WHEW) I hope you didn't overdo it
Balcony time didn't happen today. This morning, I didn't think of it. And this afternoon it was sunny and warm enough outside to make my AC kick on even at 76 - plus all my windows face West. And there were bees buzzing about as I went to do the afternoon waif feeding. The bowls look like they were about half eaten from this morning's feeding. No "protesters" to deal with this time around either.
Theresa and Tang are well with cuddles and purrs all around. It all culminated in matching kitty "bookends" on each arm of the couch as we napped
Not much else going on here. I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny pleasant Sunday greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.
I can certainly relate to the bee situation, and your not wanting your precious fur tribe, or you, to be a victim of their stings. Your precious companions are very blessed to have you looking out for them and their safety. Even though I use two baby-type gates one on top of the other and a home-made window screen when I open the big door, bees, flies, and other critters still manage to find their way inside. I try to gently escort the bees back outside with a broom that I keep by the door just for that purpose, as the bee colonies in Virginia have been all but decimated by a fungal and mite infestation which have significantly decreased and endangered the bee population and have seriously affected their immune and genetic systems. But if it's a choice between the bee or the safety of my precious Noah, or me, the bee will be the one to lose.
My precious Noah is enjoying the big door open today and is stretched out on his window bench enjoying the sunbeams and the songs and sounds of the woodland residents. I am enjoying sharing his sweet precious company and not having anything on the "agenda" today.
Soon you will begin your trek home to your precious fur tribe who are eagerly anticipating your arrival. I hope today has treated you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang can enjoy a peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening.

Sunny and very warm greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both well. I hear you on the bees, wasps etc. I try to "free" them if I can, but I don't want to get stung or see my babies get stung either.
The trip into work this morning had a hold up at a stop just outside of downtown. Some guy got on the bus and was intently talking to the driver. I was worried about missing my connecting bus and groused about why were we sitting there. It wasn't until the guy got off the bus looking worried and dejected that I'd noticed he'd been standing with his shirt hem folded up and his arms in a cradling position. I'm wondering if he had some small injured animal he was trying to get help with

At that moment, I realized I had been just like the "haters" in my apartments about the waifs I try to help. I felt terrible the whole day
That being said, I got karma for it in spades as this was the Sunday from Hades. 100 plus in queue and right out of the gate at 7:00. It calmed by 11:00, but no VTO. Not that I was expecting it because the WF person who would have offered it went home early herself. Must be nice.
The trip home was timely though. I saw no waifs but the bowls were still there and empty. Funny how now that I use disposables they seem to stick around for a while. Theresa and Tang are well and took a little nap with me in the bed
I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny pleasant Monday greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.
Try not to be too hard on yourself about what happened on the bus into work yesterday. You were concerned about getting to work on time, and because of your connecting schedule you were perfectly well within your rights to be concerned about the delay - - whatever the reason. Had it been on the travels home you may have been less apprehensive, and more "tuned in" to what was happening. You truly do not ever need to compare yourself to the "haters" in your apartment area of the homeless waifs. The good news to yesterday was that you got home safely to your precious fur tribe who are always elated to have their Forever Dad home, and to the homeless waifs who sincerely appreciate everything you do for them.
Much to the annoyance of my precious Noah, this morning was an early rise day so that I could get to work on getting some fertilizer down in the front yard. With the setting up of equipment, measuring, dispensing, and cleaning up the entire job took me three hours. Not really sure how "great" a job I did, but I realize that anything I do is better than not doing anything at all at this point in time. Need to finish the mowing in the back yard and can then put fertilizer down. Twenty pounds of fertilizer fills the spreader hopper to the top rim, so now I can just fill the spreader without measuring the fertilizer. I purchased six bags of fertilizer but only used two in the front yard, so I may have a couple of bags left over for next spring - - which will help to keep the cost down for a new supply of fertilizer next spring. It feels so good to now be able to share the rest of this day with my precious boy - - who is letting me know with purrs and rubs that he's happy to have me inside with him.
I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang can enjoy a peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening.

Partly sunny and very warm (what happened to spring?) greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both well. Sounds like you got a lot done with the yard work today. But, as I say every time, don't push yourself too hard. You have time.
Thanks for the supportive words, but I was the only one who spoke up and can't help but think that man was left with the impression I didn't care about what he was trying to do. Granted, trying to bring the poor critter on the bus was probably not in its best interest overall. I still hope it was OK.
Work was another monster topping 400 in queue

Haven't seen that in some time, but I guess we were due. We stayed at about 200 give or take until the afternoon, not getting completely out until after 4:00. No VTO, no shock there. But this morning 2 sups were absent and 3 (including mine) were quite late. But given the fact that my sup has mentioned more than once in conversation different job offers he's had (but could not take for various reasons) not surprising. Nobody wants to work there.
The bus home was a few minutes late picking me up, but we weren't plagued with the usual traffic and I got home only that much later. I had a gray tabby waiting for me at the one colony, and a tux at the other - the latter rolling on his/her back awaiting food
Theresa and Tang are both well which I am always pleased to report; I did have to clean up some puke from the carpet though. Given that it was completely undigested kibble, I'd say it was Tang wolfing his food down again (sigh) I guess old homeless hording habits die hard, bless his heart.
Not much else to report. I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny warm Tuesday greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.
It's always a blessing sharing your news that your precious fur tribe is doing well, and the homeless waifs are thriving under your provision and protection.
You haven't mentioned for awhile as to how your search for other employment options are going. I guess this means you haven't received any job announcements that are compatible with your interests. I hear on the news that the economy is "improving" for the unemployed and those who are seeking to change their jobs, but I guess it depends on where you are on the "job seeking" ladder that determines your success rate. Just keep doing the great job you're doing, and continue to keep your options open.
Noah and I slept in this morning - - it felt so good to do that. Have been busy working on some financials. My internet service provider is "upgrading" its e-mail platform so consequently customers have to execute a "migration" of their e-mail accounts. With every e-mail my ISP sends out about the migration process, I have more questions for the technical assistance reps. So far the tech reps have been very courteous, patient, and helpful. We have until mid-June to make the transition to the "new" platform, and thankfully, none of this will require a change in e-mail addresses.
Otherwise it is a quiet day here - - which is a welcome respite from the yard work projects. My precious Noah has had his lunch and the timer on the stove is letting me know my lunch is now ready. I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang can enjoy a peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening.

Sunny and very warm (almost hot) greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are well. I'm glad you got to "sleep in" today. That's always nice. I can never do that again even when I'm off as I need to give Tang his insulin on a schedule. But that's good enough reason for me

I hear you on the mail migration. I had to do that when Insight changed to TWC.
Work was not as busy as yesterday and died by about 1:00. We surged at 2:00 though and I thought VTO, but didn't see anybody leaving. It also occurred to me that since Impact (the scheduling program) has been down since yesterday, maybe they can't offer it. At least that means they can't "tweak" my lunch and breaks

I had a nice even balance today for a change. As for my job search, I do try to keep up with the emails I get, but have not seen anything good lately. Thanks for the encouragement though, it's appreciated.
Travels home were not as fortunate as last night. With the traffic, we were 15 minutes down when I got off at my stop. Tux was waiting on me again as I came along the back path. Theresa and Tang are well, I'm always happy top report. I was going to beg off can food tonight as I was so late. Tang doesn't eat it cold anyway. But Theresa was determined following me everywhere with big kitten eyes saying "PLEASE Daddy?" I gave in

Hi, Tracy, sunny pleasant Wednesday greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.
I can sooooo relate to the sweet "begging" of your precious Theresa for canned food. Only a cold heart can resist a precious companion's sweet requests - - be it for hugs, kisses, - - or food. And since your precious fur tribe are somewhat "finicky" with their eating to begin with, it is even harder to resist their sweet requests when they show an interest in having food. It is obvious that your precious Theresa and little Tang are so blessed to have you for their Forever Dad.
It was a super duper early rise this morning so that I could get my car in for its annual service and pick up the loaner car. I always have to put gas in the loaner car, as the gas gauge indicated the car was almost out of gas. I needed to stop by the hardware store to return an item that I purchased last month, and much to my surprise the store gave me a refund. I don't know what the exact time frame is for "returns" but it has been almost a month since I made the purchase. So that worked out okay. My precious Noah is glad to have me home, as we didn't get our early morning post-Noah breakfast snuggle time this morning, but we have had hugs and kisses since I got home.
I will probably need to go get my car later on this afternoon, so when I get the call that my car is ready I will not be back online for the evening when I get back home. I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang can enjoy a peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening.

Sunny and quite warm greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both well. Sorry to hear you didn't get your morning snuggles. What a bunch of cheapskates your dealership must be to not at least fill up the tank of your loaner.
Work was a little less hectic today than the last and died down earlier. Turns out I was right about Impact being down is the reason why no VTO. I'm not sure I'd trust them to make the proper adjustments for adherence after the fact anyway. The trip home ran about 10 minutes late, but was otherwise uneventful. Tux came out to meet me for food and a new little waif was at the other site. Looked like he/she almost wanted me to approach him/her. I put the food down and motioned to it. As walked away he/she she was still standing in the middle of the path; hope he/she figured out the food.
Yes, begging can be quite a heart melter. It was not, however tonight. She jumped up on the computer desk as I was booting up. I told her to get down and I'd be with her shortly. She reached up with a paw and tried to knock over the monitor

(I recently got a flat screen working) I managed to catch it, but the connections got all messed up and I'd liked to have never gotten it back up and running. It was quite deliberate too. Sorry, but the biggest, saddest kitten eyes in the world were not going to overcome that.
Otherwise Theresa and Tang are doing fine, which is good. Not much else to report. I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny pleasant Thursday greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.
Our precious companions can be "pesky" when they want to be in getting our attention - - and sometimes with it leading to "disciplinary" attention. Although want happened with your monitor was not pleasant by any standards, I also know that you have already forgiven your precious Theresa, and that she knows you unconditionally love her as she unconditionally loves you. And I'm so very glad you were able to get your monitor back up and running.
I was able to get my car back yesterday with it just needing routine service and State inspection, which is very helpful with the budget. So it's good to go for another year. I only put about 1,200 miles on it a year now since I am no longer having to go to a job every day, which is helping to extend its life since it has 138,900 plus miles on it now. With the costs of newer used cars - - which in my opinion are outrageous - - I am in no hurry to trade in my car for another one.
This morning I started the process of "migrating" my e-mails to the new service provider system. It will supposedly take up to 48 hours to do each one (I have 5 e-mails that I use for different types of correspondence). So we'll see how things go and how often I need to contact the tech reps to help me.
My precious Noah is doing well. Now that the temps are warming he is enjoying going back upstairs in the evening for some private time. At the moment he is curled up on his lamb's wool cushion in front of the window next to the bed taking a nap as I'm writing to you. We are enjoying having the big door open and gated today.
I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang can enjoy a peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening.

Sunny, hot and humid greetings to you and your precious Noah (Again, what happened to spring?) I hope you are both well. Glad to hear your car only needed minimal servicing. I hope all goes well with the mail migration.
Today was another dead Thursday. Impact came back up, but I didn't get any VTO. Some people must have because we started to spike between 3:30 and 4:00 - ah well, that actually makes it easier to get out on time rather than 0 in queue and wonder when you're going to get hit.
Travels home were about 10 minutes late with traffic. I almost didn't make my bus home from Dollar Tree as I got behind a woman who happened to be a "gossip buddy" to the cashier. That check out took forever, and was peppered with inappropriate language
No waifs tonight but I put out food anyway. I've decided to keep the case of Fancy Feast and give it to them (they got the first can anyway) Yes, I "forgave" Theresa soon after the incident. Later she came to lay on her back in my lap as I watched my show. Looking up at me as if to say "I"m SO very sorry daddy"

She and Tang are both well I'm happy to say.
I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny pleasant T G I F greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits. It's always a blessing sharing your news that your precious companions, and you, are doing well and thriving with one another.
Thank you for your support and encouragement with the e-mail migration. Although I haven't received a "confirmation" e-mail yet from my ISP that the address I use for petitions for animal rights and environmental issues has "migrated" it appears to be sending and receiving e-mail just fine. So today I am "migrating" the address I use for contacts that I don't want to use my personal addresses for. So we'll see what happens.
This morning I was able to mow the back yard and get the fertilizer dispensed, which took two bags. So I have two bags remaining which I will use either in the fall or next spring when I re-order fertilizer again. I'm so glad to have that done - - for now. My precious Noah kept me company while I took my shower and is now on top of the refrigerator surveying his "territory" as I'm writing to you.
I hope you were able to get your chores and any other errands you needed to do done quickly today so that you and your precious fur tribe can enjoy most of this day together - - perhaps even enjoy some balcony time, and that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang will have a peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening. Hello moon_beam. Sunny and HOT TGIF greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both well. Sounds like you a got a lot done today. I don't do so well when it gets really hot so soon in the season - as in nausea :s
Laundry was a bit vexing today. Some other guy came in right behind me. Then another guy came in while I was putting my clothes in the dryer, the 2 other people came in while I was going to the bus stop to go to the store

When did Friday become a big laundry day? Oh well, nobody around here has a job and they live better than I do. While I was doing laundry, I put out some Fancy Feast for the waifs. Tux was out there and attacked it
The laundry situation was mitigated by my errands though. The bus in was right on time. Since have been, subconsciously perhaps, stocking up on some things shopping was light. This allowed me to be at the bus stop home with 5 minutes to spare. That bus was right on time, only had a few passengers, and the diver was courteous and professional.
The rest of the day was relaxed. Theresa and Tang were a bit stingy on the cuddles, but they did give some. Both are well I'm glad to say. I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny pleasant Caturday evening greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.
So glad you were able to get your errands and laundry done early yesterday so that you and your precious fur tribe could enjoy most of the day together. And I hope today has been a totally lazy day for you and your precious fur family.
Today has been busy with chores and computer issues. I authorized the "migration" yesterday for the e-mail address that I use for miscellaneous correpondence but today I could not use it to send any e-mails without getting an error message. So I called the tech "hotline" and was informed that yesterday's attempt to do the migration was not successful - - for whatever unknown reason. So I had to re-authorize the migration process for that e-mail again today. Haven't tried using it yet, - - thought I would wait until tomorrow, or Monday, to send a test e-mail. I sure hope I don't encounter any "glitches" with my other e-mail addresses that I use for my financials and personal correspondence, for those two e-mail addresses are critical to work properly.
My precious Noah is doing well and has been keeping me faithful company through the day's activities. At the moment he is eagerly anticipating dinner in his bowl, which I will prepare for him when I get this off to you.
I hope today is treating you and your precious Theresa and little Tang kindly, my friend, and that you and your precious companoins will have a peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening. Hello moon_beam. Sunny and hot Caturday greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both well. Sorry to hear about your email issues and hope they are worked out soon.
I got an early start waking up on my own about 4:45. Since I was up, I decided to put out fresh food/water for my kids and scoop out the litter box. It started to rain as I was putting out food for the waifs - good thing it was wet food

BTW it was all gone when I went to put out some dry a few hours ago. I have not seen any waifs today though.
Theresa and Tang are well and have provided cuddles - albeit subdued. I don't think they care for the heat either. Well, except Theresa. She'd hang out on the balcony in 100 degrees if I let her.

Hello moon_beam. Partly sunny and warm day's greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both continuing to do well. Sorry to hear your mail migration is going so slowly and hope it is finished to your satisfaction soon.
Work was just about he slowest Sunday I have ever seen - Happy Mother's Day I guess. The only time we were busy was in the 7:00 hour when he have a skeleton crew. I got VTO just before 11:15 (I think my sup pushing for it and my 1 on 1 had something to do with it) It gave me just enough time to swing by CVS to get the loaf of bread I forgot on my shopping trip, and get the the 11:45 UPS bus closer to home.
I still haven't seen any waifs

but there are empty bowls to fill, so I fill them. Theresa and Tang are well, and Tang gave me some extra cuddles and sandpaper kisses a little while ago

Hi, Tracy, sunny warm pleasant Monday greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.
So glad you were able to get an early release yesterday from work so that you could get home to your precious fur tribe earlier, and am glad to know you were able to get your bus connections in a timely manner.
With the warmer weather the waifs are probably looking for ways to keep cool until they know food is available - - and they are used to your schedule now, too, so you may not see them as often until temps cool off again for a day or so. Rest assured they will let you know they are still around and ever so thankful for your provision and protection.
Got started on the vacuuming project today, and was it ever time for it, too. The new vacuum cleaner did a great job with what I did today. The pet hair attachment is a wonderful gadget - - made cleaning Noah's carpeted window bench and scratching posts ever so much easier. And removing and dumping the dirt canister is much easier, too. I'm very impressed with this Shark vacuum. And the motor is not as loud so Noah was not seeking "shelter" from it as I worked.
The migration of the e-mails is progressing. The conversion for my financial address completed this morning while I was doing domestic chores, and I authorized the migration of my personal address just before I got Noah his lunch. So hopefully that will be done by tomorrow some time.
Noah has had his lunch and the timer on the stove is letting me know mine is now ready, so will get this off to you. Hello moon_beam. Typical Kentucky erratic weather greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both continuing to do well. Glad to hear the quiet motor of the new vacuum does not frighten your little man. Around here, the Dirt Devil is known as the big red Tang/Theresa (mostly Tang) eater.
Today was a typical Monday in Hades. Peaked a little over 200 and stayed high until just before 3:00. Then they let a whole bunch of 4:00 people (including my sup who almost ran me over coming back from my break and a WFM agent - I guess they can give themselves VTO??) go at 3:30. We didn't spike either, so a 4:30 release for us 5:00 folks was warranted but not granted (of course - for we are not the "chosen ones") Would have helped too because the sky opened up on my ride home but we seemed to pass through it. Then when I stepped off the bus - BLAM! Lightning, thunder, HEAVY rain and wind that tore up the umbrella I just replaced a few weeks ago
Of course it stopped right about the time I got out of my dripping wet clothes and into dry shorts and a T. So, I put out some wet food for the waifs. A gray tabby came 1/2 way up to me at the far colony and meowed, and went right for it. A tux tore right through the other bowl at the closer colony. I saw some others come out looking dejected about missing out, so I brought out a scoop of dry food too. I was determined not to let The Powers That Be deter me from my task.
Theresa and Tang are well and both devoured their can food (new can opened tonight I'm sure you guessed) Not much else to report. I hope today was kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny warm Tuesday greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.
So sorry your new umbrella was demolished by the storm yesterday. I can imagine it is very frustrating for you to have to continually buy new ones. This can become expensive. I'm glad you arrived home safely, though, and were able to get into dry clothes quickly. I'm smiling at your seeing some of the waifs as you put food out for them. I know seeing them helps you to know they are doing okay - - at the very least holding their own. And of course it's always a blessing knowing your precious Theresa and little Tang are thriving.
Noah had his check up this morning. Blood glucose is 105 today and he's down to 10 pounds now - - he has lost 7 pounds in 1.5 years - - which is a good thing. Dr. Bolen took blood to do a complete blood panel on him to make sure kidneys, liver, thyroid, etc., are still doing their job properly. He needs another dental cleaning which I will probably schedule him for sometime in June. Needless to say my precious boy is ever so glad to be back home. I have the big door open and gated for him so that his frazzled nerves can be soothed by the songs and sounds of the woodland residents. The rest of the day is going to be as calm and quiet as I can make for him.
I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang can enjoy a peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening.
Peace and blessings,

Hello moon_beam. Partly sunny and actually pleasant day's greetings to you and your precious Noah. I'm so glad to hear he came through with flying colors on his exam. Especially 105 on the BG! I'd love to get Tang down to that, but alas, keeping him under 200 with insulin is the best I can really hope for. At least he's in much better health at this stage than Sir Thomas was (rest his soul) I hope having the big door open soothed his stress. Hope his teeth cleaning goes OK as well.
Work was dead after 10:00 and never really picked up after that very much. No early release, no surprise there. The ride home was timely though with a bit less downtown delays than usual.
Yes, it does my heart good to know the waifs are faring as well as they can. I've figured out how to tell the Tux kitties apart as they look identical (siblings no doubt) One has brown eyes, the other a beautiful deep sea green - I haven't seen the latter for a few days though

There is a new one about - looks kind of leopard spotted at the closer colony. Only got a glimpse of him/her though.
Theresa and Tang are very well and enjoying some rare balcony time with it being just 69 degrees and breezy this evening. Not much else going on. I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny delightful Wednesday greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits. It is always a blessing sharing your news that you and your precious fur tribe are thriving.
Today I decided to run some errands, and thankfully Noah did not hide as he saw me getting ready to leave. I needed to get some gas for the lawnmower, as well make a run to the trash collection bins. So now I can plan on mowing the front yard on Friday. My precious Noah was happy to see me when I got home, and we are enjoying having the big door open and gated today. Temps are in the low 70's with humidity levels in the 30's. Tomorrow the generator has its routine service, so it will be an early rise day.
In just about 3 hours you will begin your trek home to your precious companions who are always ecstatic to have daddy home - - and the homeless waifs who are blessed to have your dedicated provision and protection. I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang can enjoy a peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening.

Sunny and pleasant greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both doing well. Glad to hear he wasn't stressed by your leaving and that he could enjoy some time with the big door open.
Work was pretty much a repeat of yesterday except we spiked a little more after lunch. My bus home was on time picking me up, but we lost 15 minutes to that horrific construction detour which has been abandoned of any workers for about a month. One thing I'll say about Louisville, they love to tear stuff up for no particular reason. I hear the convention center is next.
the new gray tabby and tux with brown eyes were there to greet me as I brought food out. The former was busy with some food someone else had put out. That made me feel pretty good.
Theresa and Tang are both well. Only can food for Theresa since its cold. Tang cries for his share and then looks up at me when I put any down as if to say "what's this?" He did stop to give Theresa kisses before that though

Both are enjoying some balcony time with this rare nice weather.
I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny cool Thursday greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.
I know what you mean about construction projects and the delays they bring in travels. All of the roads here in the county are two lane, and when a road is being re-paved or a bridge re-built traffic is routed to one lane in both directions which means delays on both sides of the road while traffic clears. There have been road projects here in Virginia that have run out of money and consequently those projects abandoned until funds are reappropriated. A couple of years ago or so a news report "investigation" was done on a road here in Virginia that "leads to nowhere" because the project was abandoned - - and millions of taxpayer dollars were spent on the unfinished road.
The emergency generator had its maintenance done this morning and all is well. After the service rep left I had to call my ISP about my personal e-mail address as I keep getting prompted to "migrate" it when I log in. The CSR I spoke with said she would check on the status of the migration and call me back - - to either confirm it is in the process of migrating or has met with a "technical difficulty". At the moment I cannot send any e-mail out using my personal address - - which is very frustrating. I hope this can be resolved soon.
It's only in the 50's here as I'm writing to you, so it's still a bit too cool to open the big door. My precious Noah is on his big window bench enjoying the sunbeams as I'm writing to you. Need to work on some financials and do the security updates on the big desk top, so will need to get busy with that.
I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang can enjoy a peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening.

Cloudy and not as warm (but still humid) greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both doing well. I'm sorry to hear you can't use your personal email because of the migration issue. I hope your ISP clears this up soon.
Not even going to talk about work. Not that anything bad (well bad and new) happened. I'm just just so drained come Thursday from that place, I don't have any energy at all.
Travels home were no better with the 4:15 running UPS bus 15 minutes late (20 by the time I got off at the shopping center) and of course the next UPS bus was running right on time and I totally missed it (sigh) Well, walking home never killed me, but it sure didn't help my already depleted energy levels.
The thin gray tabby by the far colony was waiting on me to bring food - didn't see either tux. Theresa and Tang are both well, but it's a little too humid out to allow balcony time. Poor Theresa is just looking out the sliding doors looking all forlorn, bless her heart.
I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny pleasant T G I F greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.
I hope you were able to get your chores and errands done early morning so that you and your precious fur family can enjoy most of this day together - - perhaps some balcony time, too.
Got about an hour later start to the day than what I had initially planned but I guess I needed the extra hour of rest for the yard work in the front yard. Got the mowing and trimming done in about 2 hours including a time out in the garage. I have some cutting back of foliage overgrowth but that will need to be done another day as I didn't have the extra energy reserves to do it today.
I'm happy to share with you that the mirgration of my personal e-mail has finally successfully completed. I tried logging into my e-mail last night before shutting down this whiz gizmo for the night only to be met with a message "authentication failed." So I had to call the tech "hotline" again to get help. The tech who answered my call was very helpful. Apparently the first tech rep I spoke with yesterday morning tried accessing my e-mail to see why it was not "migrating" and used her e-mail password authorization - - but didn't re-set the password to mine. So, the tech rep last night re-set my e-mail to my password, and instructed me to again re-authorize another "migration." And much to my sincere thankfulness, when I logged into my e-mail this afternoon, I received a notification that the migration had successfully completed. And I can log into my e-mail on my ISP website and go directly to my e-mail page. YIPPEEE!!!! It has just taken all week to get this e-mail address "migrated." So I'm "back in business" so to speak with being able to receive and send e-mail once again. YIPPEE!!!
Noah is doing well. He has had his lunch and mine is on the stove warming. I'll be glad when I can settle down with my precious boy without any further chores to be done today.
I hope today is treating you and your precious Theresa and little Tang kindly, my friend, and that you and your precious companions will have a peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening.
