My first pay check was more than I was expecting which is good since I tried the plasma clinic again today only find out from the self serve check in kiosk I'm "locked out" until I talk to the staff. I presume for the bruise on my arm (that's all better now) due to THEIR mistake from last visit. I'm going to just take the 135.00 I made for the other 2 times and walk away from those idiots.

Other than that little waste of time, all we did was some basic staple grocery shopping at Walmart. Got an 8 piece box of chicken from the 19th that has to be eaten by today for 3.45. So it was the breasts for sandwiches for lunch and the dark meat for dinner tonight. Tang is/will be pleased

Speaking of which, he seems to be doing OK. I've got him a new dry food Purina Gentle senior. It's cheaper than Iams (13.98 for a 13 LB bag) and he seems to like it better and is able to chew it better. He's had his canned food and shot and will get his treats later when I provision the local waifs.

I'm very glad to share your news that your first paycheck is more than what you expected. That's always nice. Hello moon_beam. Cloudy, humid and warm (71) greetings to you. I hope you are doing well. Glad Buster came by for a visit albeit a brief one. I hope he and Bonnie are doing OK.

Well, rent should be on time for July. Spectrum can't be too late (they don't do PAs beyond the normal grace) and I was expecting a disconnection notice from LG&E for this month but didn't get one. So that's 253.00 for May and June due July 5th. I'll pay what I can and see if I get the "brown bill" this time around.

We started our day going to the old place to put food out. I didn't see any of my regulars, but to my surprise I saw a big gray tabby and a smaller orange one on the bench along the fence heading to the first feeding spot. I almost missed them they were being so quit and still. I was able to coax them over for pets and showed them the food. The ease in which I was able to do that leads me to believe they are a bonded pair recently "dumped" Well, I put more food at the first spot than normal. I hope they will be OK

After that it was just weekly grocery shopping then home to do laundry, have lunch and watch TV and nap. Tang is doing well and he's had his supper, shot and treats. After a while I'll put the food out here for the local waifs. Lately we've only seen the new gray tabby with white paws we've named Socks.

Sounds like your training is going fairly decently, which is a welcome relief from all the grief you went through getting the job. Do you know yet when your training will be done? I hope all is going okay for you. Please let us know how your and Anne's jobs are going.

Did some light chores this morning and further organized the laundry / utility space for the small fridge to be delivered sometime on Saturday. I finally transferred the light bulbs from the packing box to a plastic storage bin and have them stored under the day bed in the guest room. I wasn't sure all of them would fit in the plastic storage bin but they did. So that's one less thing taking up space in the laundry / utility room. Last night the smoke detector here in the computer area started beeping and the green light has been flashing. So I called the condo office this morning to inquire if it's hardwired or battery operated. It's battery operated so I need to get a 9 volt battery for it. Thankfully it isn't wired to the 911 system so if I happen to set it off replacing the battery it won't automatically call a dispatcher. Buster came by for a nice visit. He left to go home a few minutes ago. I have seen Bonnie out and about enjoying the sunbeams but she hasn't come for a visit for a long time now.

The bottom line is that you do have a paycheck now - - regardless of what you're doing be it training or the job you are now hired to do. Or - - hopefully maybe - - they have found a Furever home with a loving human guardian. Worked on some financials this morning and got my shred box emptied. Today after lunch we went to visit the kitties at Petsmart. There were many cuties, but the one that stood out was a big male ginger named Zeus. I got him to come out of his cubby and Anne went around back to pet him. I hope they all get adopted. From there we went to a local library branch to check out a model train exhibit. It was small but interesting. From there we went to a rare book show/sale at historic Locust Grove (the place went 2 summers ago that has colonial times shows/re-enactments) We didn't buy anything but it was fun to look at what was available.

We didn't do much today. We went to the old place to put out food and Anne pointed out orange and gray tabbies in the parking lot. I tried to get them to follow me to the fence to get some food with no luck. I hope they found their way to it. I didn't see any others.

Then we went to Dollar Tree and Kroger to get provisions for the week. We topped 300 points on the Kroger card which gave us .30 per gallon off the gas which was nice.

Scheduled payments for a couple of bills this morning and got a couple of chores done. When Scarlet was here she got very agitated seeing sweet Buster through the bedroom window and in her aggression pulled one side of the double curtain rod away from the wall. So this morning I was able to get that put back in place and the curtains rehung. Buster came by for a visit for awhile but has gone out on his afternoon rounds. Perhaps he'll stop by again later this afternoon.

Yesterday evening the steam mop I ordered was delivered and I have it put together so it's ready to be used when I want it. No, we didn't have to work today, but as contractors neither will we be paid. Oh. Well. Yes, it's been a bear to get this far for me. How ironic that RemX made it so hard for me to start and I turn out to the break out performer of the entire training class I hope McKesson let's them know that in no uncertain terms too.

Today we decided to hit the zoo right as it opened. Which was fortuitous in that it wasn't crowded and the animals were active as we think that's when they get fed. Even the Lynx was out and close to the edge of the enclosure. The Puma was right up front too. I had no idea they could make themselves look so small when curled up. The big tiger was sitting in his pool as they were filling it up too

After that we went to Chili's right as they opened for the lunch special. Also not crowded; just one other couple. Would have been a trifecta of a day too going to the pool after that. Not that it was crowded, but those two older ladies that seem to live there and think they own it were blasting music. Hard core country, my least favorite next to rap. It even drowned out my earbuds on my Pandora. Rule 11 of the paper I was given clearly says no radios w/o headphones. Needless to say, we didn't stay long. I left a message with office for the good it will likely do.

Last night we had a storm come through the area that flicked the power off three times but the power came back on each time after a few minutes. So I had all the digital clocks to re-set today. More storms are forecasted throughout the weekend, so I may be doing that chore again. Got caught up on a couple of emails today and am enjoying reading a book from the library. It's a low key day here.

The Great Clips over there moved across the street and was doing 6.99 haircuts for a grand re-opening. We then went to visit Petsmart to see the adoptable kitties to discover most had been. While there, I checked in with Banfield to see when Tang is due for a checkup which is next month. From there we went to a big ongoing flea market in the west end we didn't even know about until Anne's stylist told her about it. Then we went to Petco to check on those adoptable kitties, Half Price books, Walmart and home.

We started the day going to the old place to feed the waifs. The gray and orange tabbies were down in their spot by the fence and let me pet them both. From there we did the rest of the weekly shopping at Kroger. Then it was home for some lunch and a Rifftrax on Prime. This morning I went to Lowe's and ordered my kitchen refrigerator. It's a GE french door with bottom freezer and automatic ice maker - - no dispenser which means no lights on the front of the unit to light up the condo unit at night which is very distracting when you're trying to get to sleep. It's WHITE - - YEA!!! - - no more stainless steel that is impossible to keep clean - - double YEA!!!! Since it's not a stocked item it has to be special ordered and is expected to be delivered in a couple of weeks at the latest - - could be sooner. So I'm looking forward to this. It's a bit on the pricey side but that's nothing new for appliances. After that it was a trip to Food Lion to pick up a few deli items. Shortly after I arrived back at the condo sweet Buster has come to visit with me, which is always a treat. However, from 7/16-24 Scarlet will be staying with me while her mom and dad take a trip to Utah to visit their son. My brother called me last night with the details, so sweet Buster and I are going to need to visit with each other outside over those days. Also today my internet service provider is having technical difficulties, - - have no access to my email so far, and internet service is on the iffy-side - - so far I'm able to access things online so thought I'd send a note off to you now rather than take a chance later on.

This afternoon around 2:00 I finally got my computer and most of my log in credentials. I'm waiting on the one for Scriptmed though. I can't seem to open iCMS and Anne thinks it's because they have Windows 10 on my PC and that's not HIPAA compliant. How nice. But at least I have a place I can punch in and out w/o depending on anyone else. Given our schedules we don't get breaks and lunches together but with Outlook Skype we can at least "talk" to each other.

Our manager left early today, but trust me she and I WILL have words tomorrow

I told my manager about the incident first thing this morning and she actually cringed. She confirmed this is far from the first time this"manager" has done this and said she'd take care of it. They moved people around to keep an eye on trouble makers (sigh) the upside is I'm directly across from Anne now Everything works but the system I need to actually place the RX orders. Hopefully that will be Monday. If so, then Tuesday I can go on my 9:30- 6 schedule.

Today has been focused on getting caught up with some emails and doing some research online allowing me to broaden my streaming viewing. What I've seen on SlingTV and YouTube is not very appealing to me for a regular subscription. SlingTV doesn't offer live TV here in Bedford, at least not yet. I've checked out STIRR TV which once again doesn't offer programming I'm interested in. So I'm content with what I have already. Sweet Buster has come for a visit today. Actually this is his second visit for today. He's settling down on the cushion in the chair at the computer desk as I'm writing to you.

Hello moon_beam. Sunny and hot (91) Caturday greetings to you. I hope you are doing well. Glad Buster came for a visit and hope he and Bonnie are doing OK. You might want to look into Pluto TV available on Roku. It's like having a whole cable TV network on streaming. They have many channels and choices.

Today we decided to be sort of healthy and went to the remaining Jason's Deli in the east end (you may recall I said they closed the our favorite location) The salad bar was good, but we miss the old one. From there we went to Half Price Books in that neighborhood. They just got a boon of Star Trek novels on the 1.00 clearance racks. I got 2, but will look again next week. From there we went to the Petsmart in that shopping center and there was a huge cat adoption going on by a local rescue org. There was an 11 YO orange tabby named Rupert that the adoption fee was waived (actually paid by the people that are sadly having to give him up because the new baby is dangerously allergic) He'd be perfect, but with just starting new jobs, money and time are at a premium unfortunately But we took a card.

Tang is doing well. He's had his supper and shot and will get his treats when I put food out for the waifs here. I hope you have had a good day and that you will have a pleasant evening in the company of your precious fur-ever angels. Blessings

We went to feed the waifs at the old place first thing this morning. We saw Little Gray on our way in and I saw a tuxedo cat on the path, but I don't think it was Tux Jr. I didn't see the tabbies unfortunately.

From there we went to Kroger for groceries and gas. It's nice only having to fill up every other week being so close to work. After getting most of the laundry out of the way around 11:00, we went to the pool when it opened. There was a different life guard who was on time. After that we just had some lunch and chilled to some Rifftrax on Prime.

Tang seems to be doing well. He's had his supper and shot and I will give him his treats after while when I set food out for the local waifs. I hope you've had a good day and will have a pleasant evening watched over by your beloved fur-ever angels. Blessings.

Am glad you saw Little Gray at your previous residence when you and Anne provisioned the waifs, and hope the Tuxedo kitty is a member of the community. Perhaps he / she is a relative of Tux Sr / Jr? I know the waifs are thankful for your continued dedication to their care. I know so well how nice it is to be able to save a bit of funds wherever possible, and I hope saving at the gas pump will give a welcome boost your and Anne's finances - - every little bit helps. Today has been busy with a quick errand to the pharmacy to pick up a couple of prescription refills and working on reconciling the checkbook with the bank statement. According to the bank I should have almost $5 more in my checking account than what my checkbook balance shows. After scouring through the statement and my checkbook I couldn't find any errors in my math, but I entered the bank's "credit" anyway in my checkbook. Hopefully next month everything will come out even again. Sweet Buster has come by a few times today but hasn't settled down for a nap. Perhaps he'll come by again now that I'm not occupied working on the checkbook. Bonnie came by for a visit but refused to come inside when she saw her brother already here. She gave a disgruntled hiss and scampered away. This isn't the first time this has happened - - I can't imagine what is going on.

So I got my last app around 10:00 today and started taking calls by myself. It was marred later in the day by a certain manager. She came up and said "You need to stay out of imaging! OK!? Stay out of imaging!" The director was at the desk next to me on a sup call and said "He doesn't even know how to image, he's just been taking orders all day." Turns out they had me set up for the wrong client. But this is strike 2. When I talk to my manager in the morning, I'm telling her the next time she does it I'm filing a harassment complaint

Tan g is doing OK however. He's had his supper and shot and will get his treats later when I provision the local waifs. I hope you have had a good day and that you will have a pleasant evening watched over by your beloved fur-ever angels. Blessings

I'm sorry the manager appears to be zeroing in on you making inappropriate accusations. I'm so very glad the director was there to hear what was happening and spoke up in your defense - - in front of you. I don't blame you for wanting to place a harassment complaint against her if it happens again, - - but hopefully your manager will be able to put an end to the other manager's abusive behavior toward you. And what, may I ask, is this manager doing "supervising" you anyway? If I understand correctly she isn't your immediate manager. If she has any questions about your work it would appear to me that she needs to follow the rules of the "chain of command" by speaking with your immediate manager - - not to you directly. The good news is that you have your full credentials now and you have begun your official job. Please let us know how things go.

Scarlet arrived around 11:15 a.m. and is settled down on one of the chairs at the dining room table. Buster has come to visit once today and knows Scarlet is here by her aggressive displeasure at seeing him through the window. And she has also let me know her displeasure of being here again. Before she arrived I vacuumed and dust mopped the hardwood floors. I also used my steam mop with the carpet attachment in an effort to freshen up the carpets so that Buster's scent wasn't quite so obvious, and I think that has helped her a little bit. I also went back over my checkbook and the bank statement. I went through the calculator tape and my checkbook and discovered that a couple of the amounts on the calculator tape didn't print accurately. So after doing some re-figuring to account for this discrepancy my checkbook balances with the bank statement without any "checkbook adjustments." So I'm glad that has been resolved.

What is that manager doing over there indeed.When I spoke to my manager to ask if my Scriptmed was fixed (which is what caused the issue) and she said yes, I held up 2 fingers and said strike 2. She asked Michelle again? I said yep. And you know what? I didn't see her over there all day. I also started my "real" shift of 9:30-6:00 and thankfully there were no calls in the queue when 6:00 rolled around (dept closes at 6)

Tang is doing well and has had his supper and shot. I'll get his treats when I provision the local waifs. Assuming it doesn't rain and that dog from across the way doesn't come back. Not only did he eat all the first round of can food he was taking off with the dish Hated to discourage him being that he obviously has a bad "owner" but cat food isn't good for doggies and that's one less bowl for the truly homeless waifs.

I'm sooooo glad your manager is sympathetic to you about the abuse you have endured with Michelle. I hope your manager is able to impress upon Michelle that no further aggression toward you will be tolerated. I'm glad the issue of the Scriptmed has been resolved and that you are now officially working on your regular schedule. Please let us know how things go. I know it's very upsetting seeing any precious soul neglected. I can't help chuckling about the dog absconding with the dish!!! However, the food is designated for the feline waifs who don't have a Forever Family and I perfectly understand your and Anne's desire to focus on THEIR needs as a priority.

I started working on some financials today in preparation for the bill-a-thon to begin next week. Scarlet has been somewhat congenial toward me today with occasionally voicing her displeasure about "something" by hissing at me. What a fur child!!! She's eating okay and taking care of her personal needs so that's all that matters - - it's not required of her to like - - or even tolerate - - her temporary surrogate caregiver.
