Hello moon_beam. Cloudy and cool with occasional rain greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. I can understand your need to test and reassert your independence. Just don’t try to overdo in my friend. That being said, I’m glad to hear you have been able to increase your safe driving range. I’m sure this will be helpful.

At first the waifs were a no show this morning for provisioning. But when I went to check my mail on the way out again (it was just being delivered when I got home last night) I saw Little Gray, but he/she got spooked by another resident checking her mail. Then when I got outside the property, I saw Tux Jr and Siamese also looking to be on “full alert” But they recognized my voice and didn’t bolt. Something is definitely up with them to be that far outside the property much less their territory. Thank you for keeping them in your thoughts and prayers as do I.

Tang was in good spirits this morning and we did find some time to cuddle. With cooler temperatures coming, balcony time will be more readily available which I’m sure he will appreciate. More on how he’s doing when I get home.

Just counting down my time until the work day is over and I can turn my thoughts toward getting home to my little guy. I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

PS: Home safe and sound at 6:36 - punctuality streak over. Tang met me at the door though which always brightens my day. He's had his supper and some balcony time and is now settling in. He is well.

Hi, Tracy, cloudy humid 70-ish Thursday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.

So glad you were able to see some of the waifs yesterday during your travels. It does sound like there is "something" amiss in their community. I'm keeping them in my thoughts and prayers that they will be safe whatever the "threat" may be, and that peace will again be restored in their territory. Please let us know how they're doing.

Last night we had a series of severe storms come through the region with a couple of them prompting tornado warnings for areas northeast of the homestead. However, as one of the storms traveled over the homestead around 8:30 p.m. or so, there was a bright flash of light with a loud boom. At the time I was watching a program via my Roku box so it was about 45 minutes later when I switched back to TV mode that I discovered I had no signal reception. So "something" happened with the antenna - - again - - with this lightning blast. I called the company this morning that has so graciously provided service to me over the years, and a service tech is scheduled to be here later this afternoon to try to get reception restored. The antenna is in the attic, but I guess it's still prone to the effects of lightning strikes with the severe storms the region has had this summer. It will all get sorted out - - eventually. At least this time I didn't lose internet service.

My precious Noah is doing well. We had a nice snuggle this morning before starting the day. He is settled comfortably next to me keeping me company as I'm writing to you.

I'm sorry your travels home yesterday were not as expedient as they have been - - but thankfully not as late as they have been in recent weeks. I know your precious Tang is always glad to see you home safe and sound whatever the hour of arrival may be. I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe, comfortable, dry, and expedient so that you and your precious boy can have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious Tang. Please know you and your precious boy are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to knowing how you and your precious prince Tang are doing, along with the community waifs, and to sharing your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas and princess Theresa.

Peace and blessings,

Hello moon_beam. Cloudy, cool and quite dreary weather greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Sorry to hear the storm took out your antenna even protected by the attic, but glad they are sending a tech to fix it. At least you didn’t lose internet as you say.

Today was a total shutout for the waifs which both worries me and makes me sad. I still can’t get the image of poor Tux Jr and Siamese looking scared and disoriented in the field behind the property sad.gif Thank you for adding your thoughts and prayers to mine. I hope Angels Theresa and Tom will look out for them too.

Tang was in good spirits this morning and I eschewed getting on the internet completely in order to make about 40 minutes of cuddle time with him. Tired as I am by this time of the week, it was welcome to me too. More on how he’s doing when I get home (whenever that is)

Just counting down my time until the end of the work day so I can turn my thoughts to getting home to Tang. I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

PS: Home safe and sound at 6:52 mad.gif Whatever scrutiny TARC was under most be over and it's back to business as usual. Time to start calling and posting on their web site and going to the consumer advocate desks of the local media - I've had it. Tang met me at the door and was very gracious regarding my late arrival. He's had his supper but no balcony time as it's started raining again. He is well.

Hi, Tracy, very rainy stormy humid 60-ish T G I F greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.

Sorry your travels homeward last night were tardy getting you home to your precious boy at a decent hour. I do understand your frustration. Please let us know how things go with your complaints.

I share your sorrow about what is happening with the community waifs. There are so many options as to what could be going wrong in their community, none of them pleasant. My thoughts and prayers go out to these precious souls that they will be kept safe in whatever their circumstances may be. Please let us know how they're doing.

I discovered yesterday when the TV service tech arrived that the garage door opener is not working either - - as a direct result from Wednesday night's storm. It was working just fine Wednesday. So late yesterday afternoon I called a company that works on garage door openers and a service rep will be here later today to take a look and let me know what needs to be done. Since the opener is 20 years old now I may be looking at the cost of a new opener.

The TV service rep was able to get the basement TV signal restored, but could not restore the signal to the upstairs TV for some odd reason. The TV has power - - it just doesn't have a signal from the antenna. So supposedly he will talk to the owner of the business to get an idea as to what else can be done. Now that the signal has been restored to the TV here in the basement living quarters, I may bring the TV from upstairs down here to plug into the antenna wire to see if I can get the stations to load. If I can, then I will be able to call the TV service reps to let them know the problem is with the cable line upstairs. If the stations won't load, then it will be pretty obvious that the TV itself was fried even though it still has power to turn on. I'll let you know how that project goes when it happens.

I want to get Noah his lunch a bit earlier today just in case the service rep from the garage door company comes earlier than expected. My precious boy and I had a nice snuggle this morning before starting the day. He is doing well and is settled comfortably next to me keeping me company as I'm writing to you.

Today is FRIDAY, my friend, and I now you're already counting the hours and minutes until you begin your trek homeward to your precious prince Tang for another weekend together. I hope today is treating you kindly at work, and that your travels are safe, comfortable, dry, and expedient so that you and your precious boy can have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you.

Cloudy, cool and somewhat gloomy TGIF greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. I’m so sorry to hear about your garage door opener and hope repair/replacement costs are minimal. Be careful taking that TV downstairs my friend. It’s not worth it if you hurt yourself.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers for the waifs. Between that and my pleas to my angels there is good news. This morning I saw just Tux Jr while putting out the food and he seemed his chipper self. On my way back out to work I saw Siamese (looking ruffled from the rain) and White Cat (who I haven’t seen in a while and also looking ruffled) Both were a bit wary but seemed somewhat soothed by my voice. I also saw Bobtail on a porch a bit further down.

Tang was in good spirits this morning although not a lot of cuddle time to be had. I had some things I needed to check online that I couldn’t put off. More on how he’s doing when I get home. Whenever that is. Thanks BTW for the consolation on the travels. I’ll keep you posted.

As you said, just counting down my time until this work week is finally over and I can think about getting home to Tang. I’m just about over all these terminals needing new OS and trying to get them on internet rather than dial up (sigh)

I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Home safe and sound at 7:06 dry.gif 6 minutes down picking me up and 13 dropping me off. Dollar Tree credit/debit network was down and I didn't see the sign until I was rung up. So I trip to the ATM at Save a Lot added to the mix. Tang welcomed me home which always makes me biggrin.gif He's had his supper and is doing well.

Hi, Tracy, sunny pleasant Caturday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.

Sooo glad you saw some of the community waifs during your travels / provisioning yesterday. I know seeing them helps to ease your mind that they are still with you. Please let us know how they're doing.

The garage door contractor did not come until this morning. He did call me yesterday evening to let me know that he just couldn't make it, so rescheduled the time for this morning. He arrived around 9:45 a.m., and confirmed that a new opener was the only thing he could do as no matter what he tried the motor would not work. It took him about 1.5 hours to install the new opener. Have a hard-wired control in the garage upstairs and another hard wired control here in the basement living quarters, and have two remote controls with this unit. I wasn't expecting an installation today but am thankful for it as it will greatly aid my access and the volunteer's access through the garage on Tuesday with my grocery run.

While the contractor was working on the garage door opener, I fired up the big desk to do some financial work only to come to discover that it did not have an internet connection. Did the "tech" thing of unplugging the modem for a minute or so, then plugging it back in - - no change. So I called my internet service provider thinking the storms may have done something to the system - - but that was not the case according to the tech rep I got. After all is said and done, the tech rep thinks that the storm fried my ethernet port on the big desk top, because I do have active wireless internet access through my lap top, and the Roku box is working just fine (at least as of last night). Sooooo - - this is yet ANOTHER thing I will have to try to get fixed at some point in time. This is a classic example of why I do NOT like surprises - - particularly ones that involve high technology. Right now I am feeling very frustrated - - but I will survive.

So instead of doing financials on the big desk top I used my lap top to do what needed to be done. This is one of the reasons why I do have a lap top.

My precious Noah and I didn't have much cuddle time this morning because of the contractor coming today. I'm soooo looking forward to some cuddle time with him after he has his lunch. The good news is that my precious boy is doing well, and when all is said and done this is the most important thing to me.

I'm glad you were able to get home to your precious Tang yesterday evening at a fairly decent hour considering your errands, etc.. I hope you were able to get your chores / errands done quickly this morning so that you and your precious boy can enjoy most of this day together and will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you.

Hello moon_beam. Cloudy and cool Caturday greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Glad to hear your garage door was replaced and I hope with minimal expense. Sorry to hear about your internet problem. It could be the NIC in your PC unless all your other devices are operating via WI-FI in which case it could be the NIC in your modem. I hope which ever it is it's simple an inexpensive to fix - if it's the modem it should be free, at least it would be in my case.

Woke up at 5:15 to my alarm. At first I thought I'd see no waifs, but then out of nowhere came Tux Jr and Siamese bounding out of the bushes toward me "talking" away. Almost as if I was the one who went missing instead of them. I saw Bobtail and White Cat later waiting for the fluff cycle of the dryers and chatted them a bit. Unfortunately I didn't have the laundry room to myself. There was a load in one of my favorite dryers (stone cold) when I started then a couple showed up with a ton of laundry as I was putting my stuff in the dryers. Good timing I guess. But they were way more chatty for my tastes. Especially since I have little tolerance for people as it were.

Then it was off to Save a Lot via TARC for which I forgot to put my October pass in my wallet. Good thing I had 3 singles in my wallet from my forced cash purchase at Dollar Tree yesterday. But I stayed more or less on budget and got home by 9:00. I did see something heartbreaking walking thru the lot to the crosswalk to the sub-division though. A poor Tortie mix kitty trying to make her way across the street and nearly getting hit ohmy.gif She didn't though. I put my bag down and was going to open the 10 LB bag of waif food to at least try to feed her but what looked like a homeless man came up and started interacting with her. I hope she's OK. I figure from her demeanor and location she was probably dumped there mad.gif

The rest of the day has been breakfast (Tang ate almost half a mini sausage link) reading, watching TV (nothing on) and cuddles/napping. Tang has enjoyed some balcony time today thanks to the cool temperatures. He's had his supper and is doing well.

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

Hi Tracy...Good Caturday Evening to you and Lt. Tang. I hope you both are doing well. We all are ok here, but I'm missing summer already.

Blackie and Socks still come by especially for breakfast. Although Blackie has been missing for the past 3 mornings. He will probably be back. I do wonder where they go and what they eat when they're gone. Socks is looking better and gaining weight since he has been eating here more often. A white bobtail came by one day last week.

We still have that one mouse that comes out at night . He is smarter than the live bait trap. I put a cookie or something in it every night and it is gone the next morning. I keep it in the half bath which is at the end of the house by the carport door. I figure if he is kept fed there he will stay away from the rest of the house. I have no idea where he goes, maybe in the floor vent. Hubby calls him our pet. rolleyes.gif lol!

Tracy I hope you have a pleasant evening with your furbaby and a good work week ahead. You and Tang are always in my thoughts and prayers. And I always think of our little angels, Sir Tom, Princess Theresa, and Mickey Baby. Wishing you many Blessings and Butterflies. God Bless.....TTFN

Hello LMM. I hope you and yours had a good Caturday evening.

I'm glad to hear that Blackie and Socks still come by for your generous hospitality. I hope Blackie returns soon. Did the bobtail come by to eat too? Sounds like that mouse is pretty clever. The fact that you are trying to deal with him humanely is a testament to your compassion.

Thank you for stopping by and letting us know how you are doing. Hope you, hubby and your waifs will have a great day today with Angels Mickey, Tom and Theresa looking over us all sending many butterflies. Blessings.

Hi, Tracy, sunny coolish 70-ish Sunday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.

So glad you were able to see some of the community waifs yesterday during your provisioning and travels. Perhaps at some point in time you will see the little Tortie Kitty in the community with Tux Jr, Bobtail, and the others, as word does get around the streets to where a safe place is. Please let us know how the community waifs are doing.

I'm also glad you were able to get your chores and errands done quickly yesterday so that you and your precious boy could enjoy most of the day together. I'm glad your precious Tang is enjoying the balcony time.

This is a classic example of how technology illiterate I am - - could you explain what NIC is? I haven't a clue. Can this be reset remotely from the internet service provider, or does it require a new modem? And if this has gone bad, why isn't it affecting the wireless access? I will call the gentleman tomorrow who has been my "computer guru" for a few years now - - hopefully he's still doing this type of work. He makes house calls so hopefully he will be able to offer a "diagnosis" and what needs to be done. I'll let you know how things go whenever he's able to come. If he's no longer doing this work, then I will have to take the computer into a computer repair facility in town. In the meantime, I sincerely appreciate your taking the time to educate me.

Not much happening around the homestead here today - - thank goodness. Tuesday will be a busy day with grocery shopping with the assistance of a volunteer. My precious Noah is doing well. We had a lovely snuggle time this morning, and are enjoying haveing the big door open and gated today.

I hope today is treating you and your precious prince Tang kindly, my friend, and that you and your precious boy will have a very peaceful, blissful, cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you.

Hello moon_beam. Partly sunny and pleasant greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. A NIC is a network interface card that's part of the ethernet port. If your modem sends the WI FI signal to all other devices that's how it could be bad in the modem. If the modem is connected to a router, that's different. So it's probably either the NIC in your computer of the cable. I hope your guru can help you get the problem fixed.

I don't know that Tortie will ever be able to make it here as the shopping center is nearly a mile away from where I live. That would be a welcome miracle though. I only saw Siamese at this morning's provisioning, but I keep them all in my thoughts and prayers.

The weather has been pleasant enough to allow Tang ample balcony time which he seems to have enjoyed. It's just been us boys hanging out watching TV, napping and special cuddles on the pillow on my chest wub.gif

Not much else going on. I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny pleasant 70-ish Monday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.

Thank you very much for explaining about the network interface card to me. I called my computer guru this morning and left a message on his business phone to call to arrange a time for him to come to check things out. I will make note of what you have shared with me so that I can mention it to him. Thank you again, my friend. If I don't hear from him in the next couple of days I will call him back.

While I was waiting for the garage door contractor to come Saturday morning, 10/1, I was able to bring the TV from the upstairs living area down here to the basement living quarters so that I could hook it up to the antenna cable to see if I could access the channels. I hooked it up this morning, and the TV works just fine. So I called the TV antenna service rep this morning and left a message on the office phone that the problem is with the antenna cable hook up upstairs. If I don't hear from them in the next couple of days I will call them back.

After I wrote to you yesterday I had a bit of a scare with my precious Noah. We had the big door open and gated to enjoy the pleasant temps. Apparently a squirrel decided to come up on the porch and tease Noah through the gate to the point that Noah became so agitated that he crashed through the gate and chased the squirrel up a tree. Needless to say I was on the frantic side. I kept calling to him to come back inside, but had no idea just how far he had gone. I managed to slowly walk outside with my walker down the slope to the tree where Noah was looking up at the squirrel who was still heckling him. My precious boy finally came to me, and I was able to pick him up and carry him back inside holding him in one arm and holding onto my walker with the other. I was very glad he didn't run off into the deeper part of the wooded area of the yard or play "chase me", as he used to do in his younger years. For the rest of the day yesterday and the evening he stayed very close to me.

Tomorrow will be busy with the grocery errand run. The volunteer will be here around 10 a.m. to take me to Kroger. I'm always glad when this chore is done.

My precious Noah is doing well today, which is always a blessing of good news to share with you. We are enjoying having the big door open and gated again today, and so far the squirrels have not been heckling my little boy, for which I am very grateful.

So glad you and your precious Tang had a good day yesterday.

Hello moon_beam. Sunny and pleasant day’s greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. I hope your guru is able to get your issues fixed so you will have full use of your internet soon. Glad to hear the TV works downstairs thus proving just the upstairs connector needs repaired. I hope that happens soon as well. I’m so sorry to hear about Noah getting away from you like that ohmy.gif That must have been a terrifying ordeal. I’m just glad he came when called. I can certainly relate from Tang’s “flying” days. I hope your errands go well tomorrow too.

I only saw Siamese provisioning again today. He/she came out from under the storm drain area under the fence to greet me. I figure since they always travel together (including as far as outside the property) if I saw him/her, Tux Jr is probably around somewhere – hopefully. All I can do is trust in their cleverness to avoid harm and the protection of Angels Theresa and Tom.

Tang was in good spirits this morning and we had about 30 minutes of nap/cuddle time give or take. Who ever said cats don’t get the Sunday evening/Monday morning back to work blues never met Tang. We both are always bummed about it. More on how he’s doing when I get home.

Back to back calls from being inundated by tier one – average 15 calls on 20-30 minute wait time. Joy for us. That being said, I am definitely counting down my time until the end of another horrible Monday shift. Then I can turn my thoughts toward making my way home to my Lt. Tang.

I hope today is treating you and Noah kindly and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

PS: Home safe and sound at 6:30 - bus on time but we lost a few minutes for the driver to let 2 people on w/o paying full fare dry.gif On the upside, while we were stopped at the light to the main highway a big beautiful Monarch butterfly came right up to my window and then flew off over traffic. Thanks Theresa and Tom wub.gif I didn't see any waifs coming in but I did see 5 cops and a soldier hassling a poor tired old man just looking to rest his bones. All the drug activity here and that's how they spend their time; our tax dollars at work. Tang met me at the door with good cheer though. He's had his supper and now enjoying some much deserved balcony time after being cooped up all day. He is doing well.

Hi, Tracy, sunny sometimes cloudy coolish 70-ish Tuesday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits. It's always a blessing sharing your news that your precious Tang, and you, are well.

It's always sad to see someone in "authority" hassling someone who is "down in their luck" simply because they can. I hope the elderly gentleman was able to find an alternative refuge where he could rest awhile without being hassled.

So glad you were able to see Siamese yesterday during your provisioning / travels. Generally speaking if you see one you can pretty much rest assure that other waifs are also close by. Still it would be nice to actually see them to make sure they're okay. I know your beloved Theresa and Sir Thomas are keeping a loving vigil over them, and they are in my thoughts and prayers as well.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful encouragement with my "technical" issues. The TV antenna reps are scheduled to be here tomorrow afternoon to figure out and fix the problem with the upstairs TV connections. I haven't heard from my computer guru yet, and will wait until tomorrow to give him another call. Will definitely let you know how things go.

The grocery errand today went relatively smoothly. The volunteer who helped me today is one I have had a couple of times before, and he's a bit on the argumentative side when I need him to do something for me. He was better today than he was before, but he still gave me some grief about my needing my walker. Otherwise he was very helpful in bringing the groceries into the house for me.

My precious Noah is doing well. It's always a blessing getting back home to him. Soon it will be time to get some lunch in his bowl. Our cuddle time this morning was shorter because I needed to get up to get ready for the grocery run, so I'm hoping we can get some cuddle time in after he's had his lunch. We're enjoying having the big door open and gated again today, and so far the squirrels are keeping their distance from the porch so that my precious boy isn't being heckled.

I'm so glad your travels home yesterday got you home to your precious prince Tang in a timely manner.

Hello moon_beam. Sunny and pleasant day’s greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. I’m sorry the volunteer gave you such a hard time. It makes me wonder why he even volunteers at all. I hope your antenna repair goes well and that you hear from your tech guru soon. At least you can still get online via WI FI though. I’m glad to hear the squirrels are leaving Noah in peace today. You don’t need another scare like that.

This morning I only saw Tux Jr and that was atop the fence on my way out to my bus stop. He seemed in good spirits though. When I got to the far end all the food was gone. So the possum must have returned (sigh) I didn’t actually see him but the waifs never eat that much that fast. Always keeping the rest in my thoughts and prayers and appreciate you doing so too.

Tang was in good spirits this morning even though I couldn’t give him as much cuddle time as yesterday. I will update how he’s doing when I get home.

Work has been hectic though not quite as bad as yesterday getting everyone up to date on their terminal programming. At least at lunch time when I was outside Tom and Theresa sent another monarch butterfly my way which always brightens my day wub.gif I don’t know if I posted this before, but I like to go outside as much as I can at work on break/lunch etc. when the weather is nice. Somehow in makes me feel closer to my angels, odd as that may sound.

Just counting down my time until another work day is over and I can look toward getting home to Tang. I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, cloudy dampish coolish 60-ish Wednesday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.

I so well understand how you feel about feeling closer to your beloved Theresa and Sir Thomas being outside during your lunch and breaks as you share with us "I like to go outside as much as I can at work on break/lunch etc. when the weather is nice. Somehow in makes me feel closer to my angels, odd as that may sound." This isn't odd at all, because your work environment is not conducive to anything except staying focused on your job and looking forward to the moment when you can leave. I'm so very glad your beloved Theresa and Sir Thomas visited you through the butterfly yesterday to cheer you and remind you they are always a hearbeat close to you.

Almost forgot to schedule payment for my internet bill, so did that this morning. I usually get a notice from my internet provider when an invoice is available online, but didn't get that this time for some reason. Thankfully I remembered last night that the payment is due soon so that I could tend to that this morning.

Thank you for your support about the volunteer who helped yesterday with the grocery shopping. He has a "good heart" - - he just needs to learn to help the customers the way the customers need help instead of complaining that they don't do things "his" way. He was better yesterday than he had been previously - - so there's hope for him for more improvement. My regular volunteer who helps me with the trash and mail is out of town this week. The same volunteer who helped me yesterday called this morning to let me know he will be here tomorrow to take the trash bin to the street and get my mail. So he will be here a little after 11 a.m. tomorrow to do that.

The TV antenna folks have not yet come, but I'm still expecting them sometime this afternoon. I want to get Noah his lunch so that he will not be waiting until later this afternoon to get it. He is doing well, and we had a very nice snuggle this morning after his breakfast.

Sunny, warm and breezy day’s greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. I hope your substitute volunteer continues to improve. Hopefully your antenna repair will go well too. Have you heard back from your tech guru?

The only waif I saw this morning was White Cat hiding in the bushes. She would look at me but would not move or meow. She was like that yesterday as well come to think of it. I hope she’s OK unsure.gif On my way out to my bus stop I saw Siamese and Big Tabby but neither seemed to have touched the food. Hopefully I will see some of the others soon.

Tang was in good spirits this morning and I did manage to squeeze in some cuddle time balanced against what I needed to do online. He was particularly vocal about my leaving today which always tugs at my heartstrings. I will update how he’s doing when I get home.

Work is less hectic today (knock wood) and I have managed to spend some time outside thinking of my angels. No butterflies today, but I know I can’t expect that every day. I know they are thinking of and watching over Tang and I.

Just counting down my time until I can call it another work day – better than halfway through the week now – and can turn my thoughts toward returning home to my precious Tang.

I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny pleasant 70-ish Thursday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits. It's always a blessing sharing your news that your precious Tang, and you, are doing well.

My computer guru arrived around 1:15 p.m. and left around 3:30 p.m.. He got the desk top reconnected to the internet by installing a new ethernet / network interface card. Then he proceeded to do a thorough "deep cleaning" of the programs and registry to help it run more efficiently as it has been running a bit on the slow side lately. By all appearances the "deep cleaning" has already improved how the computer is running. He also has taken the hard drive from my old lap top and will erase it before he destroys it for me. That has been on the agenda for about 4 years now, so I'm glad I finally have that issue taken care of.

My Noah is doing well. I was able to get him his lunch while my computer tech was here, and he ate his lunch without any problems. He is fairly familiar with Danny, so Noah felt fairly comfortable eating while Danny was here. I'm just going to fix a bowl of soup and a sandwich for me after I get this sent to you.

Sorry for the brevity today - - it's been a long day working with the computer stuff. The TV antenna tech did come yesterday around 3 p.m. and got the upstairs TV running again with a new signal booster installed at the antenna in the attic. So that issue has been resolved.

As always, I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe, comfortable, dry, and expedient so that you and your precious boy can have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you.

Hello moon_beam. Sunny and pleasant day’s greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. No need to apologize for brevity as I understand all too well. Glad your guru was able to get you back up and running. I feel somewhat validated that it was indeed the NIC.

I just saw Siamese and Big Tabby today provisioning the waifs. I hope the others are doing OK.

Tang was in good spirits this morning especially since I made about 40 minutes of nap/cuddle time. More on how he is doing when I get home.

Work’s been fairly hectic but my angels sent me another butterfly at lunch today which always makes me smile thinking of them. Just about time for my shift to end as you will see from the time stamp (see, brevity all around LOL)

I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

He's had his supper, curled up at my feet and doing well.

Hi, Tracy, cloudy rainy coolish dampish 60-ish T G I F greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.

Thank you so much, my friend, for your wonderful assistance and astute diagnosis of what was wrong with my big desk top computer. My computer guru let me watch him yesterday as he worked on it, and explained what he was doing at the time. He also checked the memory capacity to see if it could handle or be expanded to accommodate a newer operating system if it needs to be upgraded at some point in time, and he confirmed that it can be - - so that's very good news indeed. Thank you again for your help, my friend.

Not much happening around the homestead here today, which is nice after having service techs here. It's nice to be able to resume a more normal routine again. I hope to be able to begin working on purging my employment records so that I can include them in the community shred-a-thon. If I can add these records to the financial / tax records, then I'll be pretty much current with stuff that I still need to keep for awhile and can shred on my own with my personal shredder as needed.

My precious Noah is doing well, which is always a blessing to share with you. We had a very nice snuggle this morning after his breakfast. He is letting me know it's getting time to get some lunch in his bowl, so will get this off to you.

I'm so sorry your travels home yesterday were delayed. It's very frustrating when all you want to do is get home to your precious Tang after your long day at work. The good news is that today is Friday, and you have a nice weekend to look forward to with your precious boy.

As always, I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe, comfortable, dry, and expedient so that you and your precious Tang can have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you. Hello moon_beam. Sunny and pleasant TGIF greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. I’m glad to hear that you both can get back to spending quality time together after all the issues you’ve had to deal with lately.

I only saw Siamese this morning on my way out to the bus stop to work following provisioning. He/she seemed a bit sad and lonely. I hope Tux Jr and the other are around, but I offered up some kind words of greeting just the same.

Tang was in his usual good spirits this morning even though we had limited nap/cuddle time due to things I needed to get done before leaving for work. I will make it up to him this weekend though. More on how he’s doing when I get home.

Work has been insane to the point I don’t even want to talk about it beyond this little mini rant (sigh) That being said, I am intensely counting down my time until this nightmare of a week is over. I guess, therefore, it's me that needs to apologize in advance for the brevity of this post with all this craziness wacko.gif

I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, rainy dreary dampish 60-ish Caturday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.

Sounds like you had a really hectic day yesterday at work and am glad you now have the weekend to focus on being with your precious Tang. I hope you have been able to get your chores / errands done quickly today so that you and your precious boy have the majority of today to spend together.

My precious Noah and I had a nice snuggle this morning after his breakfast. While he still slumbered under blankets I worked on getting my checkbook up to date with payments made. So that project is taken care of. The rest of today will be focused on spending quality time with my precious boy.

As always, I hope today is treating you and your precious prince Tang kindly, my friend, and that you and your precious boy will have a very peaceful, blissful, cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you. Hello moon_beam. Sunny, breezy and mild Caturday greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Sorry to hear about the gloomy weather where you are, but at least you and your little man can still spend quality time together without squirrels to taunt him.

Yesterday was indeed hectic on the phones, but it was topped of with act of unmitigated gall. I was sitting in the back room watching TV as I often do waiting on my bus. This woman that's been in there a few times already when I would come in (knowing it's my special time) came in and just laid into me about the times I would see her in there and I would sigh or tsk and leave. She says my my name and I turn slightly and say "Yes?" Her: "You look at me!" Then: "This room is for EVERYONE so you don't need to walk away and make your little noises!" Then proceeds to sit there and glare at me for 15 minutes before storming out. I was SO tempted to cut into her as only I can do and make sure she cries by pointing out her insignificance in the grand scheme of things and who will suffer the most when they inevitably close down this call center. You see, she's another one of these people with a made up position of "back office support" In other words, paid to show up and do nothing. But, you will be proud to know I hope, I held my tongue. If she does it again, no promises. Sorry for the rant, but that's been bugging me since yesterday. Still is come to think of it dry.gif

I woke up to my alarm this morning and proceeded to get my laundry going; room to myself for the duration this time. Then proceeded to provision the waifs. I saw Big Tabby first who bolted (but came back for the food later after I shooed away the possum) I came back in to take care of Tang's needs, then waiting on the preliminary fluff cycle of the dryers, I saw Bobtail at the fence eating with Little Gray not far behind. I also saw one the Tux boys either Sr or Other but couldn't tell from that distance. Then coming back around front I saw Little Tabby.

I just had to go to Save a Lot again, so I was back around 9:15. I went a little over budget but had a coupon on my receipt from last time for a free carton of a dozen eggs. So that was nice. I had some breakfast and shared a few bites with Tang. The rest of the day has been spent vegging/napping on the couch in front of the TV. Plenty of kisses and nuzzles from Tang laying on the pillow on my tummy and chest wub.gif He is so heavy, but I guess that's a good thing with his condition. Poor Tom was skin and bones by this stage sad.gif Not a bad day overall though.

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny gusty windy chilly 60-ish Sunday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.

Sorry the self-appointed break room "police woman" felt compelled to be so insulting to you. You are to be commended for not responding to her tirade. If it should happen again, I hope you will be able to do the same, or walk away from her, for if you should respond to her she could use it against you. In this case you are the "victim" - - not her - - and she is the one who is liable in case she is overheard by a manager, or perhaps another employee who mentions the incident to a manager. It is important that your behavior is beyond reproach, my friend. I know all too well from first hand experience that it's hard to "keep thy tongue" and / or walk away - - but it is for YOUR benefit, and safety, my friend, wherein lie my concerns. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers that this incident will not be repeated, or escalated. Please let us know how things go.

So glad you were able to get your chores / errands done quickly yesterday so that you and your precious boy could enjoy most of the day together, and am equally glad you were able to see some of the community waifs during your provisioning / travels.

Not much happening around the homestead here today. Sunbeams are plentiful but it's becoming that time of year when they don't warm up the day like they do during the spring and summer - - another indication that the winter months are approaching. My precious Noah and I had a wonderful snuggle sleep in this morning. While he slumbered under blankets I worked on a couple of quiet time projects until he joined me to greet the day.

I hope today is treating you and your precious prince Tang kindly, my friend, and that you and your precious boy will have a very peaceful, blissful, cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious Tang. Hello moon_beam. Sunny and pleasant day's greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Glad to hear you both had a nice sleep in this morning even if the sunbeams weren't quite as warming as you would have liked.

As far as anybody overheating that harpy at work, it wouldn't matter. She's one of the "cool kids" Age 30 and up is the new 12 these days so there really aren't any "adults" in the work place anymore. Heck, I wasn't allowed to act 12 when I WAS 12. But I can still manage to get my digs in without sinking to her level. Something like a shrug saying "it won't be anybody's room when this call center looks like the empty building next door"

Alas, I have no sleep in days if for no other reason than Tang's insulin shots. I awoke just before 5:00 on my own and turned off the alarm set for 45 minutes later. I only saw Little Gray this morning provisioning. My thoughts and prayers are always with the colony as a whole though.

After that I took care of Tang's needs and and had a sleep-back in until about 9:30ish. I passed on breakfast fare and had a salad and warmed up left-over pizza; sharing some meat of the toppings with Tang.

The rest of the day has been spent on the couch in front of the TV napping and cuddling with Tang. He's enjoying some balcony time now as I post this. Soon I will get his supper ready and settle in for the evening before retiring to get my rest for another week of dismay.

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny coolish 60-ish Monday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.

Am glad you saw at least one of the community waifs yesterday during your provisioning. I'm sure Little Gray passed onto the rest of the community that their daily bread is available because of your devoted attention to their needs. Hope you will see some of the others at some point in time this week. Please let us know how the community waifs are doing.

So glad your precious boy had a chance to enjoy some balcony time yesterday, in addition to quality time with his Forever Dad.

Today has been another educational day technology-wise - - and not a welcome one. I went to print off my brother-in-laws birthday card only to discover that my HP color printer would not print anything off but garbage, or only print half the card when it tried to print anything at all. I replaced a couple of cartridges that were low, I tried plugging the USB cable into a different port, I tried shutting it down and rebooting it - - nothing worked - - not on the big desk top OR my lap top. So I don't know if the storm that came through fried something inside the printer, or if it's a technical glitch somewhere in the system. So I have a call into my computer guru to come try to sort out this fiasco. This is sooooooooooo frustrating. So I have shut down the big desk top, turned off the HP printer, and am focusing on something that I CAN do with my lap top.
As frustrated as I am right now with continuing "high technology" glitches, the good news is that my precious Noah is doing well. We had a very nice cuddle time after his breakfast this morning. He has had his lunch and mine is now warming on the stove. I am looking forward to some very needed quality time with my precious boy this afternoon and evening.

As always, I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, - - that you aren't victimized by the self-appointed break room "police" - - and that your travels are safe, comfortable, dry, and expedient so that you and your precious Tang can have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious boy. Please know you and your precious prince Tang are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to knowing how you and your precious boy are doing, along with the community waifs, and to sharing your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas and princess Theresa.

Hello moon_beam. Sunny and pleasant day's greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. I'm sorry to hear your printer is acting up. At first I thought it might be the drivers, but if it's happening on both computers it would seem it's the printer itself. I hope your guru can fix it with minimal fuss.

The back break room is not an issue today as I had to call off sick sad.gif I thought the frozen tilapia I got on sale when I was at Kroger last time was fully cooked; it's not. You can figure out the rest. Looking over my finances, I'm in better shape than thought I was so the "hit" won't be so bad.

Tang's been a ray of sunshine while I convalesced though. With the pleasant weather, he's enjoying some balcony time. He is well.

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny coolish 60-ish Tuesday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well - - you feeling better - - and the both of you in good spirits. Sorry you weren't feeling well yesterday. GI upsets are very uncomfortable.

Thank you for your thoughts about the problem with my HP printer. I called my sister to ask her what type of printer she uses - - she also uses an HP printer. She mentioned that Microsoft did a major update over the past couple of weeks, and she too had problems with her printer after that update. So she's recommending my guru try uninstalling and then re-installing the printer software. This is one of the options my guru and I talked about yesterday, so we'll see what happens. I have already started pricing newer printers, and the costs aren't so bad for print only printers - - which is what I want for my HP printer. I'll let you know how things turn out.

Had my doctor's appointment today. It was scheduled late morning, and was there for a couple of hours - - didn't get back home until around 2 p.m.. I talked to my MD about the nagging chronic discomfort in my shoulders, so he took some x-rays. The joints and bones themselves look okay, so the problem is with the muscle, ligaments, tendons, etc. which do not show up on x-rays. He offered to give me a cortisone shot in my shoulders, which I declined. He encouraged me to continue the exercises I've been doing with my arms, and using the comfort measures of heating pads and ice packs. So now that I know the problem isn't bone / joint related, I can continue to manage the discomfort here at home. Also got my flu shot, so I'm good to go for awhile. All was basically good news.

My precious Noah was very glad to see me when I got home. Was busy getting him his lunch, then my lunch, and made a quick call to my sister to talk to her about the printer issue. My precious boy and I had a good snuggle after I had my lunch, and now the early evening news is on. Soon it will be time to get my precious Noah his dinner, and then settle in for the evening.

Once again, my friend, I hope you are feeling better today, possibly able to go to work. I hope today is treating you and your precious prince Tang kindly, my friend, and that you and your precious boy will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you.

I'm sorry to hear you are dealing with pain issues again sad.gif I hope you are able to manage it at home as you planned and that you feel better soon. I didn't think about MS updates affecting the printer. So, in a way, I guess it could be the drivers after all - I'm 2 for 2. I hope your guru can help with this soon.

I saw no waifs today but I soldier on with the feedings and have hopes and prayers my angels will look out for them. Tang was in good spirits this morning, but none too pleased to let me go to work today rolleyes.gif I guess yesterday spoiled him. Since I feel better today, I will assume the fish was simply under cooked and not bad.

Work was the usual back to back nonsense. But the back lounge dictator was not there at all today, so at least I could decompress in peace waiting on my bus. Plus I was outside during lunch and for some reason decided to walk on the sidewalk instead of just the parking lot. I was rewarded with a big beautiful butterfly from my angels wub.gif

Home safe and sound at 6:36. Tang met me at the door as usual. He's had his supper and is enjoying some cool air on the balcony. He seems to be doing well.

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah (and that you are feeling better) Wishing you both a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny coolish 60-ish greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.

So glad to share your news that you were feeling better yesterday so that you could go to work. Yeah, I know going to work is a bummer even under the best of circumstances, but right now it's a blessing to you to have this job for some form of financial stability for you and your precious Tang.

Thank you for your continued comforting support with my health challenges. My shoulders are basically okay - - just feeling the cumulative effects of 40 years of pulling and tugging on heavy file cabinet drawers at work, and now having to rely more frequently on my cane and walker for support, in addition to the normal daily "wear and tear" that the arms and shoulders experience. In other words - - basically "old age" has finally set in. So I do what helps to provide comfort measures and get on with the business of the day.

Today has been busy doing security updates on the big desk top and then a full security scan. While the big desk top was going through its business I started working on purging documents from the container filled with employment records. Still have a lot more "stuff" to go through in this container, but at least I've made a good start. My precious Noah and I had a very nice snuggle cuddle this morning after his breakfast before starting the day. He has had his lunch and mine is in the final stages warming on the stove.

I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe, comfortable, dry, and expedient so that you and your precious Tang can have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious boy. Hello moon_beam. Sunny and warm greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well and you feeling better today. I hope whatever you are doing to manage the pain is working satisfactorily for you. I also hope you have been able to get through your daily routine with minimal fuss given all the tech issues you have had to deal with lately.

Just Little Gray this morning when I was provisioning. She seemed in fair spirits and did a few social rolls which usually indicates such. I continue to keep them in my thoughts and prayers.

Tang was in pretty good spirits this morning even though cuddle time was somewhat limited. It’s getting to be that time of year when balcony time is more feasible which he seems to enjoy. But I sense he misses his “partner in crime” He just kind of looks out over the edge and off in the distance wistfully. More on how he’s doing when I get home.

Work is work. A means to and end as you say. I try not to think about it too much. Less than an hour now until my shift is over and I can turn my thoughts toward heading home to Tang.

I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

PS: Home safe and sound at 6:35. Riding home I looked out the bus window to see some sunbeams shining through breaks in the clouds. It was like rays from heaven. I couldn't help but think of my angels in that bittersweet moment. Sad in that they are no longer physically with me, but feeling fortunate to have had them in my life on their earthly journey. Tang met me at the door as usual and is keeping me company and I update this post. He's had his supper and seems to be doing well.

Hi, Tracy, sunny pleasant Thursday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.

So glad you saw Little Gray yesterday during your provisioning. Like you I also hope all is well with the rest of the community. Please let us know how the waifs are doing.

Today has been on the frustrating side. My computer guru arrived around 11:30 this morning, and literally slaved very hard to try to get the HP printer working again - - to no avail. After working very hard for several hours, the diagnosis is that there is a problem with the printer - - it simply would not interface with the computer. So, it's a new printer I need to get. I will be ordering it in the next few days and just hope it will work. I'll let you know how things go.

My precious Noah is doing well. He is settled comfortably on my lap as I'm writing to you. It has been a tedious day for him as well, so I'm looking forward to a quiet evening just with him.

Please know you and your precious prince Tang are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to knowing how you and your precious boy are doing, along with the community waifs, and to sharing your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas and princess Theresa.

Hello moon_beam. Cool with a mix of sun and clouds greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. I'm so sorry to hear about your printer. Tech issues are just pounding you lately sad.gif I hope you can get it replaced for minimal cost and fuss.

I saw Siamese and White Cat in their respective territories provisioning this morning. I keep on putting out the food, providing some kind words and hoping they are all doing OK.

Tang was in pretty good spirits thins morning with some cuddles worked in. He was his usual vocal self objecting to my having the gall to go off and leave him to earn a silly paycheck rolleyes.gif

Call volume was a bit lighter today. Just one more day to go before the weekend. I arrived home safe and sound at 6:34 with Tang awaiting me in the foyer. He's had his supper from a freshly opened can and has had some balcony time. He is well.

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, cloudy coolish 60-ish T G I F greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.

So glad you saw Siamese and White Cat during your provisioning yesterday, and am also very glad you were able to get home to your precious Tang at a reasonable hour.

Thank you for your kind encouragement about the plight with my color printer. After my attempts to get it working again miserably failed, I was pretty much prepared for the worst case scenario. I feel so sorry for my computer guru. He really worked very hard for a major part of the day trying to get it back up and running, and he looked so defeated when he left late yesterday afternoon. But now we both know that the problem is with the printer itself, and I can live with that. Now it's just a matter of finding another printer - - eventually. Right now I'm not in any hurry.

My precious Noah and I had a very nice snuggle cuddle this morning which we both very much needed. He roused when I got up to start the day and kept me company while I did my routines getting ready for the day. He has had his lunch and is now settled comfortably next to me keeping me company as I'm writing to you. My lunch is on the stove warming.

Today is Friday and no matter what happens at work your focus is counting down the hours and minutes until you can begin your trek home to your precious prince Tang to enjoy another weekend together.

Hello moon_beam. Cloudy and cool TGIF greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well with no tech issues to plague you today. I feel bad for your guru though.

I only saw White Cat this morning peering out at me from the fence. She darted straight for the food as soon as I started walking away laugh.gif I hope the others are OK and were able to enjoy the food as well later.

Tang was in pretty good spirits this morning. I’m pretty sure he knew it was Friday especially since he perked up when I said tomorrow is Caturday biggrin.gif More on how he’s doing when I get home

Another crazy day for calls but, as you say, it is Friday and that means it’s just a count down until the weekend. It can’t come soon enough (just about an hour and a half – and the lounge dictator left early today) Then I can turn my thoughts to my trek home to Tang by way of Dollar Tree.

I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Well, home safe and sound at 7:06 - and that's only because I skipped Dollar Tree. Turns out the first bus (mine) didn't even run tonight which was confirmed by the driver of the second. I have to make the "long" trip tomorrow, so I'll just get everything at Kroger. I truly hope this means this clown is gone and they couldn't find another driver on short notice. One can always live in hope. Tang met me at the door and was quite vocal "Gee whiskers dad! Where have you been?!" He's had his supper and is curled up at my feet. He is doing well.

Hi, Tracy, sunny chilly 60-ish Caturday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.

Sorry you couldn't do your grocery errand run yesterday evening on the way home with your transportation situation. Hope whatever prevented the first bus running will be corrected come Monday - - hopefully without having to endure ongoing delays in your travels. Please let us know how things go.

So glad you saw White Cat yesterday morning during your provisioning - - at least you know he / she was eating the food rather than the possum or other wildlife visitor to the provisions.

My precious Noah and I enjoyed a nice cuddle this morning. He is still slumbering under blankets as I'm writing to you. Have printed off my monthly bank statement so I can work on reconciling the statement with my checkbook at some point in time. Am not planning any major activity today - - still feel the need to just relax and spend quality time with my precious boy. It seems our lives recently have revolved around repairs and service techs - - just want to get back into a calmer routine again.

I hope you are able to get your chores / errands done in a timely manner today so that you and your precious prince Tang can enjoy most of this day together, and will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you.

Sunny and warm (80) Caturday greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well and enjoying quality time.

I woke up to my alarm at 5:30 this morning. Waif attendance was a bit better today. I saw Siamese, Big Tabby and White Cat. It's been a while since I've seen Bobtail and seems like forever since I have seen any of the Tux boys (even junior) I hope they're all OK unsure.gif

There was one other person in the laundry room putting things in the dryer (none of my favorites) but no other interference beyond that.

Errands were a bit problematic though. There were 2 people ahead of me at Great Clips and only one person working, so I had to wait over 1/2 and hour to get my hair cut. I spent a little too much (as usual) at Kroger and didn't get down to the library until late and had to wait for the bus that came at 11:22 rather that the 10:24 (just barely missed the 10:54) I usually take. I didn't get in until just before noon (sigh)

I had a some lunch and curled up on the couch to read and then nap with Tang ever faithfully at my side for snuggles wub.gif He's had his lunch and is settling in for the evening as I will be soon as well.

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny pleasant 70-ish Sunday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.

Sounds like you had a megathon errand run yesterday. I know how frustrating it is to have to wait for a service when your thoughts are focused on getting things done quickly and getting back home. I'm glad you were able to get your chores / errands done yesterday so that you and your precious boy can have the majority of today to focus on just being together. And I'm glad you saw a couple more of the community waifs during your provisioning / travels yesterday. At least you know the community tribe is still in the territory, although it would be nice to see some of the "old timers" like Bobtail and the Tux boys. Please let us know how they're doing.

My precious Noah and I had a nice snuggle under blankets this morning. He continued to slumber while I finished up reviewing and deciding which documents are ready to be purged. I checked the website for the TV channel that sponsors the shred a thon event, and the dates are set to begin on Monday, 10/24, with this date scheduled to take place at the furniture store chain that co sponsors the event at the Rocky Mount location. This is excellent as it will allow me to take all the trash bags filled with documents to be shredded as well as stop by the treasurer's office to pay my real estate taxes - - get two major errands done in one trip. So this time next week I will begin the process of loading the car with all the trash bags so that they will already be in the car when I'm ready to drive into town Monday morning. It's always nice when a plan comes together.

Looking at the clock it's getting time for me to get some lunch in my precious Noah's bowl so will get this off to you. I hope today is treating you and your precious prince Tang kindly, my friend, and that you and your precious boy and will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you.

Hello moon_beam. Sunny and warm greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Sounds like you accomplished a lot in preparing for the coming weeks.

I awoke to my alarm at 5:45 this morning. Before heading out to provision the waifs, I peeked out the sliding doors as I always do to see if the coast is clear. I thought I briefly glimpsed Big Tabby but it could have been Siamese as that's the only one I saw when I went out. He/she meowed loud at me then darted under the fence where he/she continued to meow loud - as if to see if I was still there rolleyes.gif I assured him/her I was just putting down the food and would be moving on. He/ she was still there eating when I came back around though. I hope the others are doing OK.

The rest of the day has been a lazy one for me and Tang as is usual for Sunday before heading back to my prison. We snuggled, napped and what not. I put the pillow on my chest a few times and he kneaded it and nuzzled my face with his his head wub.gif He's just had his supper and is doing well.

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny delightful 70-ish Monday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.

So glad you and your precious boy had a good day together yesterday, and that you saw at least one of the community waifs during your provisioning. They continue to be in my thoughts and prayers, and please let us know how the community tribe is doing.

My precious Noah and I had a nice snuggle this morning after his breakfast, and he continued to slumber under blankets while I worked on a few quiet time projects. He is sitting next to me here at the computer with his tail draped over the keyboard as I'm writing to you. We are enjoying having the big door open and gated today to enjoy the pleasant weather. Soon it will be time to get some lunch in my precious boy's bowl.

I remember so well from my employment years how Mondays at work are difficult to get through for many reasons. Hello moon_beam. Sunny and warm greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well.

I didn't see any waifs this morning provisioning, although I thought I glimpsed Big Tabby looking out the window afterward. I continue to keep them in my thoughts and prayers though.

I had a horrible premonition while getting ready for work - the kind that tells people not to get on a plane and such. I've learned over the years to listen to my gut, so I called in. I've been trolling the news feeds to see what I might have "avoided" but nothing. Better safe than sorry though. It's probably stupid, but oh well.

Tang was pleased for the change in plans and has been comforting as usual. Getting ready to give him his supper early. He seems to be doing well.

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny very pleasant 80-ish Tuesday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits. Whatever the reason for your premonition yesterday you were wise to pay attention to it.

In yesterday's mail collection I received my new credit union credit card so today's project was spent updating all the sources that auto bill to it. Had one bill that I needed to schedule payment for, so that was done as well. Also did some additional researching on Canon color printers. None of the Canons have received consistent good reviews, so I will be sticking with an HP printer. Just need to order it now.

My precious Noah and I had another nice cuddle under blankets this morning, and was able to get most of my computer work done while he slumbered under blankets after I got up for the day. He has had his lunch and the timer on the stove is now letting me know mine is ready.

Hello moon_beam. Sunny and quite warm greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. I know all too well about updating auto payments with a new card. I hope you got them all. I hope your printer shopping continues to go well too.

At first I thought I wasn’t going to see any waifs this morning. But as I got down to the farther feeding area I stopped and looked behind me to see White Cat curled up under a tree. I called to her and she was startled at first, but she soon went for the food. I guess she fell asleep waiting for me rolleyes.gif I'm keeping them all in my thoughts and prayers of course.

Tang was in good spirits this morning keeping me company while I was getting ready for work. More on how he’s doing when I get home. No premonitions today, just the usual “funk” of having to leave. Even though they have not given us the new badges at work, they have updated the photos in the system. I must say mine looks much more haggard now compared to the one when I first started huh.gif

It’s been a fairly low call volume day (thank goodness – and knock wood) So I am taking advantage of one of those long OS update calls to get this posted. Just about one more hour until I can direct my thoughts toward heading home to Tang. I did have an interesting surprise at lunch today. When I went to sit at my usual chair outside there was a little brown grasshopper on it. He didn't move when I pulled it out so sat I in the chair next to it. He just looked at me curiously while I ate. I figure my angels decided to take a break from the usual butterflies happy.gif

I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Home safe and sound at 6:44 dry.gif The good news is it was a new driver and sup was in front of her the whole time until she came back around again. The regular driver was no show and no call yesterday (there's my premonition) Tang was there to greet me. He's had his supper and is well.

Hi, Tracy, sunny warm 80-ish Wednesday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.

So glad you were able to go to work yesterday without any feelings of impending doom - - except for the usual "funk" as you so well describe. Sounds like you made the right decision to stay home yesterday considering the public transportation situation. Am also glad you saw White Cat yesterday during your provisioning - - he / she may have been the "community rep" to let you know the waifs are still in the area.

My precious Noah and I had another nice snuggle this morning after his breakfast, and he continued to slumber under blankets while I worked on financials - - finally getting the checkbook up to date with expenses - - thank goodness for duplicate checks and printed receipts. Got the HP 8210 printer ordered on Amazon yesterday evening which is scheduled for delivery sometime tomorrow. The "retired" printer is now in the garage waiting for the next trip to the special trash bins. I also got the trash bags filled with stuff - - 31 bags counted so far - - to be shredded this coming Monday in the garage as well waiting to be loaded into the car for the trip into town. I may have a couple more bags to add to that total depending if I have the opportunity to go through another box. My primary focus right now needs to shift to working on the bill-a-thon as it is that time of the month when paying bills take a priority over other projects.

My precious boy has had his lunch and mine is in the final stages warming on the stove so will get this off to you. Please know you and your precious prince Tang are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to knowing how you and your precious boy are doing, along with the community waifs, and to sharing your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas and princess Theresa.

Hello moon_beam. Sunny and unseasonably warm greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Sounds like you had a lot on your plate today. I hope your new printer comes soon and there are no issues with it.

Waif attendance was a bit better this morning. I saw Siamese and White Cat on my first pass, and then Big Tabby and Little Gray on my way back out to my bus stop. Keeping them all in my thoughts prayers as usual.

Tang was in pretty good spirits this morning. This may have had something to do with my waking up 15 minutes ahead of my alarm thus giving us almost an hour for nap/cuddle time before I had to go to work. More on how he’s doing when I get home.

Calls are up and down – mostly up right now with a major outage (sigh) So I’m just counting down my time until it’s over and I can turn my thoughts toward heading home to Tang – hopefully earlier than the last 2 nights.

I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

Home safe and sound at 6:42 - yet again a different driver. It's looking like the jerk is gone (I hope) but now I have a series of subs and being late. Oh well. Tang greeted me at the door with his usual enthusiasm wub.gif He's had his supper and is curled up at my feet. He is doing well.

Hi, Tracy, sunny pleasant 80-ish Thursday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.

So glad you saw some of the community waifs yesterday during your provisioning / travels. At least you know they are still there with you. Thank you for sharing with us how they're doing.

My precious Noah and I enjoyed another quality cuddle time this morning after his breakfast before starting the day. While he slumbered under blankets I tackled the project of preparing the checkbook for the bill-a-thon. Will begin scheduling online payments on Saturday as Monday will be busy taking things to the shred-a-thon and stopping by the treasurer's office to pay my taxes. Just as my volunteer was getting ready to leave the FedEx driver arrived with my HP printer. So since I was already at the door the driver was quite willing to bring the package into the house and set it on the kitchen counter for me. I have unpacked it and brought it downstairs where it is now sitting on the computer desk waiting to be installed. I'm going to read through the instructions a few times to make sure I understand the process before tackling that project. I'll let you know how it goes.

I was able to get my precious Noah his lunch before the volunteer came, and my lunch is now in the final stages warming on the stove so will get this off to you.

Please know you and your precious prince Tang are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to knowing how you and your precious boy are doing, along with the community waifs, and to sharing your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas and princess Theresa.

Hello moon_beam. Rainy day greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. I’m glad to hear your printer arrived and the driver was willing to bring it in for you. I hope it performs to your satisfaction. You’ve had more than enough tech headaches.

This morning I saw Siamese, Big Tabby and White Cat – the former and the latter being quite vocal. I wish I knew what they are trying to tell me. I keep wondering if it’s news of the Tux boys or Bobtail unsure.gif I’m always keeping them in my thoughts and prayers.

Tang was in good spirits this morning even though cuddle time was rather abbreviated. More on how he’s doing when I get home.

Because of the rain, I had to have lunch indoors today in a crowded break room (sigh) It made me blue not to be able to commune with my angels and the critters they send to me as signs. Oh well. Just about 15 minutes and I’m done for another day. I’m already looking forward to getting home to Tang.

I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, cloudy sometimes rainy coolish humid 60-ish T G I F greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.

So glad you saw some of the community waifs yesterday morning during your provisioning / travels. I often wish my precious Noah and I could communicate in a common language so that he could tell me how I could be a better mom for him. And I know you would appreciate being able to talk to both your precious Tang and the community waifs as well. It's always a blessing sharing your news as to how your precious boy, and you, and the community waifs are doing.

With inclement weather on the horizon I'm hoping you can find a quiet place other than the break room at work where you can retreat to enjoy some quiet time before having to go back to work. This doesn't mean you're "anti-social" - - it simply means that YOU need the quiet time after being on the phones all morning long. Please let us know how things go.
Thank you for the encouragement with the new printer. I'll read through the installation instructions a few times before actually trying to get it to work. I'll let you know how it goes when I actually try to install it.

My precious Noah is doing well. He kept me company while I did my morning routines and is now settled comfortably on his bathroom window perch taking a nap as I'm writing to you. It is a gloomy day outside for my precious boy.

It's F R I D A Y , and I know you're already eagerly anticipating the minute when you can log out and begin your trek homeward to your precious Tang for another weekend together. Please know you and your precious prince Tang are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to knowing how you and your precious boy are doing, along with the community waifs, and to sharing your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas and princess Theresa.

Hello moon_beam. Sunny with some clouds and cool TGIF greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Sorry to hear his view is so gloomy though sad.gif

I only saw Big Tabby this morning but it was raining a little, so the others might have sought shelter. I’m always keeping them in my thoughts. I may not be able to understand them, but I certainly understand Tang’s different meows and body language as I did Theresa and Tom cool.gif But I get where you’re coming from.

Speaking of Tang, he was in pretty good spirits this morning as I managed about ½ an hour of cuddle/nap time before heading off to work. More on how he’s doing when I get home.

Work has been another back to back call Friday (sigh) The break room was not crowded today though which is good because it’s a tad too chilly outside for having lunch. You hit the nail right on the head about my seeking “ME” time. That’s how I am about the back room watching TV after my shift. The lounge dictator doesn’t get it because it would require her seeing another point of view other than her own dry.gif

Just about 2.5 hours to go before I can log out and turn my thoughts toward heading home to my Lt. Tang. I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Home safe and sound at 6:58 via the Dollar Tree. I saw Bobtail heading to check my mail; he was going under a parked car. I seemed OK from what I could see. Tang greeted me at the door as usual. He's had his supper and some balcony time. He's settling in now and doing well.

Hi, Tracy, sunny blustery gusty windy chilly 50-ish Caturday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.

So glad you were able to see Bobtail yesterday evening when you got your mail, and Big Tabby yesterday morning during your provisioning / travels. At least you know they’re doing okay, while keeping the other community waifs in your thoughts and prayers. Please let us know how they're doing.

Today has been busy working on scheduling online payments in association with the bill-a-thon. I've scheduled everything I can right now. Am waiting on invoices for a couple of others. Have had to turn the furnace on as temps are on the crisp side. Need to dust off the space heaters for the basement living quarters as they will be needed in the near future.

My precious Noah and I had a nice sleep in this morning after his breakfast. He has had his lunch and mine is in the final stages warming on the stove, so will get this off to you.

I hope you have been able to get your chores / errands done in a timely manner today so that you and your precious prince Tang can enjoy most of this day together, and will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you.
