Hi, Tracy, sunny hot humid Monday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

Sorry yesterday was a beastly experience for you particularly travel-wise but am glad you were able to get home to your precious companions who were relieved to have you home safe and sound. I'm so smiling about Tux kitty giving you a "thank you" for the food and water. Your loving efforts are deeply appreciated by the community waifs.

I'm also sorry about your monitor, and hope that you are able to find out what is causing the problem and fix it. Hopefully it will be a "simple fix" with replacing the cable. Please let us know how things go.

It was a pleasant visit with my brother and sister in law yesterday, and lunch was very nice. But as always it was so very good to get back home to my precious boy who was at the door calling for me as I opened it. The evening brought a welcome visitor. Shortly after I got home a young stag who is in the process of growing his antlers came into the back yard up to the house and visited for awhile. He kept looking toward the wooded areas - - perhaps anticipating / hoping another deer traveler would join him. Eventually he made his way back into the wooded area outside the fence line and continued on his journey.

Will begin the process of preparing the "bill-a-thon" for August's bills. Will need to make an errand run later on this week to Noah's doctor's office to pick up a new supply of his food. At this point I'm not planning any yard work activity for this week, which will be a welcome break.

My precious Noah is doing well. He is settled next to me keeping me faithful company as I'm writing to you. I know your precious fur family is already looking forward to having you home again this evening. I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels will be safe, comfortable, and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang will have a peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious companions. Please know you and your precious Theresa and little Tang are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to sharing your news as to how you and your precious companions, and the community waifs, are doing, and to sharing your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

Peace and blessings,

Hello moon_beam. Cloudy, warm and humid greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are still doing well. Glad to hear you enjoyed your lunch. Bonus on the deer smile.gif I have not seen any around here for a while. Just the occasional gang of "bandits".

I appreciate the kind words about yesterday's bummer of a day. Things were better today. Typical Monday topping 200 in queue, but dying down around 1:00. VTO seems to have been given to the 4:00 people at 3:30. The rest of us were out of luck. Oh it was warranted, but both WF people went home at 3:30 too dry.gif Have I mentioned how much I hate that place? (JK) I get calls and emails about other jobs, but I rarely respond because they are all contract/temp and in some cases late shifts I couldn't work anyway because of the bus. I keep hoping and praying something better will turn up, but I'm not holding my breath (sigh)

At least the express bus was on time. What ever had been plaguing Chestnut Street with traffic seems to have gone away. I saw Gray Tabby and her 2 friends at the far colony, and Tux was waiting at the steps when I came back out looking as if to say "I thought you forgot about us Mr. Food Man" happy.gif I didn't see that other black cat, and I have not seen uLlu for a couple of days. I hope she's OK unsure.gif

Theresa and Tang are both well. Neither greeted me at the door. I guess these hotter days can get to them too. Tang continues to eat the cold can food when I mix in a teaspoon of warm water. I engaged Theresa with one of the catnip mice I got them for Xmas and she's still chasing and kicking it around laugh.gif

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, warm humid Tuesday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits. It is always a blessing sharing your news as to how your precious fur family, the community waifs, and you are doing.

Sorry the job offers are not suitable at this time. Just continue to keep your options open, my friend.

Have been working a bit on the "bill-a-thon" today and have pretty much come to the decision about my Medicare insurance coverage for open season later on. Once the coverage starts I will be more financially solvent than I have been with my current medical coverage.

My precious Noah is doing well. He has had his lunch and mine is in the final stages warming on the stove.

Hello moon_beam. Another cloudy, hot and humid day's greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both doing well. I hope whatever you decide for your insurance works to your satisfaction.

Interesting day at work. Not really busy but for a few spurts here and there. Great day for VTO....If anybody in Work Force had bothered to show up today. The 2 ladies that went home early were not there at all today, and I haven't seen the guy that works back there since last week. Maybe they're on some sort of solidarity strike.

Spoke too soon on the traffic for the express bus; ended up running about 15 minutes late - but still didn't see the UPS bus anywhere in sight. I didn't have any customers in the far waif colony, but Tux met me at the stairs again and I saw Lulu eating when I made my way back toward home. She seems more interested in the food now than me. I can't say as I blame her all things considered. Tux did do some cute rolls in the dirt before partaking of the provisions though happy.gif

Theresa and Tang are still doing well I'm always pleased to report smile.gif Still polishing off the can food. Time to start settling in so I can get up tomorrow and do it all again (sigh)

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny very pleasant Wednesday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions, and the community waifs, doing well and in good spirits.

Just the rest of today and tomorrow to get through until you are with your precious fur family for your weekend together - - which I know goes too quickly.

We are enjoying a brief respite from the heat and humidity today since the "cold front" passed through the region last night. My precious Noah and I are enjoying having the big door open and gated today for the fresh air and the songs of the woodland residents. Did some work on the big desk top this morning which is now going through its security updates and scans, and will shut it down when those are done. Not much on the agenda today - - which is nice.

As always, I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels will be safe, comfortable, and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang will have a peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious companions. Hello moon_beam. Sunny, warm but not as humid greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both well. Glad to hear the weather was such that you could have the big door open so you could both enjoy nature's symphony.

Work today was truly dead but for a few little spurts. VTO was offered 6 minutes into my 3:30 break. Even though I responded only a minute later, I didn't get it - or so I thought. It was from the WF agent in the other call center. A little after 4:00, I saw another email flash and thought it was the 2nd round of offers (that's how they do it here) But it was a direct response to my 3:36 request to have it saying I could sign out at 4:15. I like this WF guy in Greenville. Rather than a fresh round, he picked up the ones who didn't get it last time first smile.gif Now that's fair.

I was able to catch the 4:43 express easily, but it was about 10 minutes late. But under the circumstances, I wasn't going to complain. No waifs on my way back up or out again. One of the food bowls and one of the water bowls have already disappeared in less than a week of purchase. But at least I know what happened to the water bowl (the colony by me) I got bright orange for a reason: I can clearly see them at a distance out my window. I looked out the other night, and guess who's chubby cigarette smoking hands I saw it in? Using it as an ashtray mad.gif Oh, yeah. She really cares about the waifs. My instincts were apparently right about her.

I certainly took Theresa and Tang by surprise getting in about 30 minutes early cool.gif Both are well, but this morning I had to break up no less than 2 fights over territory (the bed) and by extension, proximity to me. I was able to eventually get them on either side of me calmed down so I could pet and reassure each of them wub.gif

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, cloudy sometimes sunny humid Thursday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

I can certainly understand your consternation about the bowls you purchase for the needs of the community waifs being used as ash trays. This is truly despicable - - it is disrespectful of you as a person as well as your efforts to provide for the community waifs. And I know the community waifs are not happy about it either.

The respite from the humidity we had yesterday is over and temps are forecasted to rise back into the 90's over the next several days. Was able to make the errand run this morning to get Noah's food from his doctor's office while temps were still in the 70's something so that I didn't have to use the AC in the car. Soon it will be time to get my precious Noah his lunch and some vittles on the stove warming for me as well.

I'm glad to share your news that you were able to get an early release yesterday which is always helpful for your travels. I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels will be safe, comfortable, and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang will have a peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening. Hello moon_beam. Sunny, warm but a tad less humid greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both well. Sorry your cool respite came to a halt.

Work was more or less dead as yesterday. Fewer total queue calls, but less time between calls until about 1:30. I got VTO at about 3:15 and was able to catch an earlier bus to Dollar Tree and my regular home. They had all the fruits this time, but only one bag of blueberries. I'll get those at Kroger tomorrow since I have to get Tang more insulin and an RX for myself; might as well do the shopping there.

No waifs tonight but empty bowls to fill, so they are around somewhere and eating and drinking what I put out. Yes, it was despicable of that "person" to not only take a needed water bowl from the waifs but to use it as such. I truly think she wanted me to see it too. Well, THEY know I will persevere and never let them down.

Theresa and Tang were quite pleased to see me walking in the door a little after 5:00 happy.gif Both are well and have polished off their can food. They are settling in with their evening "baths" I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny warm humid T G I F greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

So glad you were able to get an early release yesterday which helped with your errands while still getting you home sooner to your precious fur tribe. I know this was an extra bonus since it came on your last work day for the week. Indeed the community waifs know you care for them and they are forever grateful for everything you do for them.

All is well here at the homestead. My precious Noah and I are keeping a low profile enjoying each other's company. Soon it will be time to get some lunch in his bowl. At the moment he is settled calmly next to me patiently keeping me company as I'm writing to you - - while eagerly anticipating the moment when I will go to the kitchen to get him his lunch.

I hope today is treating you and your precious companions kindly, my friend, and that you were able to get your errands and chores done early so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang can enjoy most of this day together and will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening. Hello moon_beam sunny and warm TGIF greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both well.

What a day. I had called Banfield 3 times yesterday to get them to call in the Humulin N for Tang. Including right before closing last night to which the the lady answered the phone asking if this was an emergency to which I replied no and told her the reason. She then asked me if I was aware I was calling Banfield Pet Hospital - um yeah. She put me on hold for 10 minutes and never came back. Then I called back 3 times and was put straight to hold. Finally another (nice) lady answered and I gave the office manager what for on the other one. She assured me it would be taken care of before they left for the night. Whatever.

Fast forward to today and they still haven't done it when I get to Kroger. Some foreign vet telling me he can't RX because he's never seen Tang. They couldn't have told me that yesterday so I could track down Dr. Mills at the other clinic? Dr. Mills finally got on the phone and OK'd it with 6 refills. Now instead of Kroger charging me the 91.00 RX rate like last time, they was to charge 133.00 (full price is 150.00) Telling me I can get it for 24.00 generic at Wal-Mart. I know that and would if there was still a Wal-Mart anywhere near me. At which point the pharmacy clerk gets snippy with me saying "I was only trying to help" They scanned all kinds of different discount cards and 133.00 was the best they could come up with? Where'd they get the 91.00 from last time?

I did the rest of my shopping and went home. The rest of the day has been spent trying to decompress from the total nonsense of this day. Theresa and Tang are both well and have provided cuddles and purrs. Especially Tang. At one point he got right up in my face, kissed my nose purred and meowed. It's almost as if he understood my mutterings about what I went through to get his insulin and was saying thank you wub.gif

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny warm humid Caturday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

I can sooooooo understand your frustration about getting your precious Tang's insulin prescription renewed. I may have asked you this before, - - have you tried researching online prescription options for his insulin? Not sure if this would be beneficial price-wise - - just thought I'd ask. I have heard on very recent news reports as to how the pharmaceutical industry manipulates the price of medications to keep their investors happy with profits. Each pharmaceutical CEO openly admits to this - - and our elected officials continue to do nothing about it - - because they also profit from them and the pharmaceutical lobbyists to keep the status quo. One of the very many ways how our society has become so corrupted.

The GOOD NEWS is that you were able to get your precious Tang's insulin - - although it put considerable strain on your budget - - which I know is concerning. There is no doubt in my mind that your precious Tang perfectly well understood the duress you went through to get him the medication he needs and showed you how appreciative he is. He is so blessed to have you for his Forever Dad.

If I may make a suggestion: Every month when I do the "bill-a-thon" I put aside funds to cover the cost of Noah's food so that when it's time to get another order for him I will already have funds specifically allocated for his food - - and if there are increases in the cost, I will only have to include the "balance due" in my checkbook. Perhaps you could do this as well for your precious Tang's insulin? Like I said, it's just a suggestion I thought I would pass along to you that I have found very helpful for me. Only you can determine if it is of any practical use to you.

Have the big desk top going through its security scan and updates and will be able to shut it down when that is done. My precious Noah is doing well. He is settled comfortably next to me keeping me faithful company as I'm writing to you. Not much on the agenda for today - - which is nice.

I hope today is treating you and your precious Theresa and little Tang kindly, my friend, and that you and your precious companions can enjoy a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening. Hello moon_beam. Hot and humid Caturday greetings to you and your precious Noah are doing well.

I appreciate the suggestion. I save as much as I can just on general principal. Sorry If I gave you the impression I do not. It did not hurt quite as much as it might have other months as I had a pretty good size bonus. But I can't count on that. Plus his insulin lasts between 3 and 4 months, so it's hard to tell other than by sight when it's going to need to be refilled. I looked online at the same place I get the syringes and thought I saw it for 69.95, but that was the 3ML vial/solution not the 10ML I have been getting. They want 179.00 for that. Medicine is like gas. They can charge what ever they want for it. That's just the way it is in the American Empire (We stopped being a democracy a long time ago)

Today I woke up a minute before my alarm. Put out fresh food and water for Theresa and Tang, gave him his insulin, and scooped out the litter boxes. I then turned my attention to provisioning the waifs. I only saw the scarred Siamese that hangs out over here occasionally (not Gray Tabby's friend on the other side)

The rest of the day has been spent having breakfast (with tang mooching a couple bites of sausage) reading, watching TV, and of course napping; recharging the batteries of a week of abuse from the pit. Both of the kids are doing well.

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny warm humid Sunday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits. So glad you and your precious fur family had a good day together yesterday enjoying each other's company.

I hope I did not offend you - - or thought I was trying to pry into your personal business - - by my suggestion about trying to set aside some funds as best as possible toward the purchase of your precious Tang's insulin. I did not always have this "insight" or ability due to more pressing financial commitments - - but since my "retirement" have found it helpful. I keep hearing news reports as to how purchasing medications online is supposed to be less expensive than through a local pharmacy, but apparently this is not the case with your precious Tang's insulin. For the life of me I will never understand why it can be legal to have price disparity between pharmacies for the exact same medicine - - except in what you so appropriately share with us: "Medicine is like gas. They can charge what ever they want for it" - - pharmaceutical profiteering.

Not much happening around the homestead here today. My precious Noah is settled comfortably next to me keeping me faithful company as I'm writing to you.

Soon you will begin your trek homeward to your precious companions who are eagerly anticipating your arrival. I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels will be safe, comfortable, and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang will have a peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening. Hello moon_beam. Hot and humid greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both faring well today.

You didn't offend me, and it was a good idea; just not much more I can do that I don't already. Another concern I had about ordering insulin online is that it's perishable. I read several articles about how it could sit around for days not refrigerated and lose its potency. Wal-Mart apparently is the only place that has its own generic which is why they can sell it so cheap I supopose. I wish I still had a Wal-Mart in the area because that's where I got it before the one by me closed down. I suppose I could send a FB message to my former co-worker if she wouldn't mind getting it next time.

Today was crazy busy then died at 9:30. I did find out in my one on one that even though the final warning stays on my record for a year (March 2016) as points for attendance fall off, I'm that much closer to being "safe" I just can't post to any other jobs until then. Like I plan on being there in the same lousy job until then. VTO was called at 11:36 and I thought it would be too late to get the 11:45 UPS bus at Market, then it occurred to me I could go Broadway to Preston (2 more blocks) and catch it there with an extra 8 minutes to spare. As it turned out, I need not have hustled. It was 10 minutes late dry.gif

Still, I got home sooner than normal and had a shorter walk. The pool was closed today which meant no nosy residents to hamper provisioning the waifs. I didn't see any today but all the bowls (including the water) were empty. I did see, or rather heard before I saw, the little black cat yesterday on the PM feeding.

Theresa and Tang are both well and were delighted to see me getting in early. Cuddles and purrs were provided as we napped wub.gif

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, cloudy humid Monday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

I'm sorry the "warning" stays on your record until March 2016. Sounds like your employer's HR rules are the same as for my previous home health employer preventing anyone with a "caution" on their HR record from applying for any positions until it is removed. I truly hope and pray you are able to find a better job before this year is out, my friend, but there is "good news" of sorts that - - if you are still with your current employer come March 2016 - - you will be able to apply for other positions as / if you want to.

Glad you were able to take advantage of the early release yesterday so that you could get home to your precious fur family sooner. I can very much understand your concern about ordering your precious Tang's insulin online, my friend. From what I hear on the news online meds are supposed to become a "preferred" way of getting prescriptions, -- but I for one prefer to use my local pharmacy.

Have been working on scheduling bill payments this morning and getting my grocery list finalized for tomorrow's errand. Have also been looking into individual vision insurance coverage and have narrowed the field to one provider. Just need to decide what plan level I want and then submit my application.

My precious Noah is doing well and has been keeping me faithful company in all my activities. He is settled next to me as I'm writing to you now. The big desk top is going through its security scan and will be able to shut it down once that's done. I'm wondering how your monitor / computer is doing these days.

Hello moon_beam. Cloudy, hot and humid greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both doing well today. I hope whatever insurance plan you pick works out well for you.

Thanks for the support on the job front. If I'm still there in March doing the same job, I will be a very sad.gif camper. Looks like both jobs my sup was going for are filled. "Evil" sup's job was posted on the intranet which means she probably got the Saves sup job. And wondering what became of our male WF agent, I looked him up in email and it looks like he got the other job. I'm tempted to ask my sup if he still believes I'm a wild conspiracy nut and that our "leadership" is "fair and balanced" as he insists it is wink.gif

Coming in the back way home, I saw Gray Tabby's little friends and Tux and Siamese by the colony by me. It's always both the Siameses that are skittish. But they come back out to eat and drink when I leave.

My monitor still acts up here and there with no real pattern. Unfortunately, the cable is attached so no help there. I went on Amazon and found a refurbished fairly cheap (I don't consider it a luxury as I depend on my computer for many things including job searches.) The seller was consumer rated 100% 5 stars. So hopefully it will work out.

Theresa and Tang are both well and glad to see me. I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny humid Tuesday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

I hope the newer monitor works out. At the very least it will let you know if there is a monitor-based problem or something that you need to investigate with your internet service provider (cables, etc.). I fully understand what you mean about your computer not being a luxury. I would be up the proverbial royal creek if something were to happen to mine. I hope the newer monitor will resolve the "technical issues." Please let us know how things go.

So glad you are seeing the community waifs out and about. Even though the Siamese kitties may be more skittish than the other waifs, they know you are providing for their needs.

Got the grocery errand done early this morning as planned. When I got to the checkout I noticed that I didn't have my Kroger card with me - - so no "savings" on today's purchases. When I got home I checked around the computer desk and discovered the card had managed to fall out of my checkbook while I was working on scheduling bill payments online yesterday. In the future I'll have to double check to make sure I have my Kroger card with me when I go shopping.

My precious Noah is doing well. He greeted me at the door when I got home with provisions and checked everything out as I was putting things away. He is settled next to me keeping me company as I'm writing to you now. Need to bring my checkbook up to date with today's purchase so will get this off to you.

I hope you are both doing well. Sorry to hear about you forgetting your Kroger card, that's truly a bummer. Another reason I shop at Save a Lot unless I need something out that way. Even with my card, I always end up spending more at Kroger. Do you have the little ones you can put on your key chain?

Work was truly dead and VTO was called just early enough for me to catch the 4:43 express bus with a few minutes to spare. I didn't any waifs today, but bone dry empty bowls which I happily refilled.

I found my monitor waiting at my door when I got in. It came with its own power cord and parallel cable and seems to be working fine. I looked at the connector for the cable on the monster monitor and it is missing a pin which explains a lot. As for the other flat screens, they were giveaways from a former employer. And anything those hardware guys worked on is pretty much guaranteed to be garbage.

Theresa and Tang were most pleased to see me home 1/2 an hour earlier than normal. They have had their can food and are settled at either side of my feet as I post wub.gif Both are doing well.

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny humid Wednesday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

So glad you were able to get an early release yesterday and in time to get the early bus home. This is always helpful. I'm also glad your newer monitor is working okay. Yeah, the missing pin in the connection to the other monitor does explain why it was not working very well. A similar thing happened with the hard-wired keyboard I had with my desktop - - which made it stop functioning altogether - - which forced me to finally "upgrade" to a wireless keyboard. I hope you get many years of good use from this newer monitor, my friend.

No, I don't have the keychain type Kroger cards, but may look into that - - thanks for the suggestion. Have done some work on the big desk top this morning and have it going through its security updates and scans. Should be able to shut it down before I get Noah his lunch. Speaking of my precious boy, he is doing well and is letting me know that his tummy is running on fumes, "mom, it's high time lunch is served - - don't you think?"!!!!!

Just one more day for you to get through until you and your precious fur family will have another weekend together.

Hello moon_beam. Brutally hot and humid greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both doing well. Chuckling at your little man's "reminder" that it was lunch time laugh.gif

Work was even slower today and VTO was called at 4:00 allowing me to get the 4:15 UPS bus and walking into my apartments just before 5:00. That's the good news. The bad news is our sup called a team meeting this morning to announce he's taking another job with the newer incarnation of the payment processing company I worked for before Bank of America took over. Somehow I doubt he will put in a good word for me dry.gif And I just know I'll end up with "evil" sup again or her equally nasty and arrogant male counterpart until a new sup is found mad.gif The Fates hate me I swear. Oh well. One good thing going into next period is handle time will no longer be a part of our OPS score - the only metric keeping me below a 3.

No waifs again but empty bowls to fill. The water bowl was gone from the far colony, but I'm buying the multi packs of covered containers from Dollar Tree to keep up.

Theresa and Tang were delighted to see me home early, and finished their can food in record time. In a hurry to get quality time I guess happy.gif Both are doing well.

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, cloudy humid Thursday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

So good you were able to get another early release yesterday, and hope the trend continues today so that you can get some of your errands done and still get home to your precious fur family at a decent time. Sorry about your supervisor leaving for another job, but good news about not having the handle time being a part of your score. Hopefully this will improve your opportunities for better evaluations - - and ultimately - - a better job elsewhere. I hope you will not have to endure the "evil" supervisor - - or any of her supporters - - for long until a new supervisor is hired for your section. Please let us know how things go.

Not much happening around the homestead today. According to the forecast humidity levels are to moderate for the weekend beginning tomorrow, so perhaps I can plan on mowing the front yard early tomorrow morning. My precious Noah is doing well. After breakfast my precious boy went upstairs for his early morning private time. When I woke up later this morning I found him snuggled next to me. What a delightful way to start the day.

Hello moon_beam. Sunny, warm and breezy greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both well. Smiling at you waking up with him snuggled up next to you. That's always a treat.

Work continued with the trend of slowness. We were out of queue by 8:30, and except for a few spurts we never went back in. Another early release allowed me to get home early even with my errands. I saw "evil" sup clean out her desk and move her stuff to the vacated desk of the saves sup who retired a little while back, so I'm hoping I won't have to endure her again.

I didn't see any waifs coming in but empty bowls, and one gone. The orange food bowl (the last hold out of that purchase) was gone. Heaven only knows what it's being used fr now dry.gif But I have plenty of backups in place.

Theresa and Tang are well and were most pleased to see daddy home early. I had time for a little nap and they both cuddled with me wub.gif

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny warm T G I F greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

Sooooo glad you were able to get another early release yesterday so that you could get your errands done and still get home to your precious fur family at a decent time. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that indeed you will not have to endure the "evil sup" again. Please let us know how things go.

Was an early rise day this morning to mow the front yard. Did the trimming around the mailbox first before beginning the mowing which was helpful. Took me a couple of hours to get everything done which included a time out in the garage. Although the humidity levels are more bearable today and temps were in the upper 70's when I started, as the shadey places faded with the sun taking over the yard the chore was still a very warm one to do. But it always looks so much nicer when its groomed, and it was definitely time for another mowing.

My precious Noah was curled up on his bathroom window perch when I came inside, and he kept me faithful company while I took my shower. He is now settled comfortably next to me taking a nap as I'm writing to you. Nothing else on the agenda for today except getting my precious Noah his lunch and dinner, fixing my lunch, doing dishes, and then settling down for the evenigh with my precious boy.

I hope today is treating you and your precious Theresa and little Tang kindly, my friend, and that you and your precious companions can enjoy a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening. Hello moon_beam. Sunny and hot TGIF greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both well. Sounds like you got a lot accomplished in the yard today. I'm sure it was nice to get back inside to the cool air and your little man happy.gif

Laundry and shopping went well. Nobody in the laundry room and I was able to catch the bus both ways with no over crowding.

I may have seen Gray Tabby on this morning's provisioning, and I had a brief petting chat with Lulu. I didn't see any on this last round. I think they go to the tunnels under the side walk during the day. They seem to be cool in summer and warm in the winter. The food was all gone on the far colony and I had to replace another water bowl. The food and water was 1/2 gone on the colony by me and got a top off.

As I was taking a nap on the couch, Tang decided he wanted up on the arm via my face. His back claws sliced me pretty good, but I got it cleaned up with alcohol, peroxide and band-aids. He got is claws clipped and (unfortunately via my pain) some harsh words. Not long after that Theresa got some for getting on the dining table and knocking stuff down.

Needless to say there were no cuddles for my nap sad.gif Just a bad dream about coming home to find my apartment a wreck and taken over by my family. Several distant relatives were wanting to know what my "problem" with my immediate family was. It was at that point I said "ENOUGH!" Threw them all out and said the only family I need are my fur kids (pretty sure I know how that crept into the dream: read above)

All seems to be forgiven now and they have both had their wet food from a fresh can. Perhaps tonight will be better, and there is still Caturday on the horizon. I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny warm Caturday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

From first hand experience I know how painful claw scratches and bites can be. I'm glad you and your fur tribe have resolved the tensions and harmony is once again restored to your household.

It was a late rising this morning for my precious Noah and me. Instead of going upstairs for his after breakfast early morning private time he came and snuggled next to me. Had some financials to do on the big desk top which is now going through its security updates and scan, and will be shut down when that is completed.

Humidity levels are significantly lower as they were forcasted to be which is a very welcome relief, although temporary as we still have August's humidity levels to experience.

My precious Noah has had his lunch and mine will be ready soon. I hope today is treating you and your precious Theresa and little Tang kindly, my friend, and that you and your precious companions can enjoy a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening. Hello moon_beam. Sunny and warm (less humid here too) Caturday greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both doing well.

The scratches are healing and scabbing over. May have a little bit of a scar too. Too soon to tell. At least it's not infected. Tang gave me "I'm sorry" cuddles and kisses the rest of the evening. Unfortunately, he's bak to his can food snubbing again (sigh) At least Theresa still eats hers. Both are well today which I am always grateful for. Especially with Tang's diabetes and his ear (still good BTW) Cuddles were resumed today wub.gif

No show on the waifs this morning and a little while ago. The food and water was largely untouched too. I hope they are OK unsure.gif I usually see one or two in the course of the day.

I got up from posting to finish up the pasta salad I had on the stove, only to find Theresa in my chair. I guess she was proof reading for me happy.gif

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Hi Tracy,

Happy Caturday Evening to you, Lt. Tang. and Princess Theresa! I hope you all are doing well and having a cozy evening. We haven't seen any more little waifs. When we get up in the mornings Fluffy and Socks are on the carport waiting patiently for their breakfast. They have their favorite box to lay on top of. They get along better now. They know this 'loud mama" will fuss at them if they don't. blink.gif I hope all your little waifs are doing well.

I hope you and furbabies have a peaceful and cuddly evening. Give the furbabies an extra pet for me.....God Bless....TTFN

Glad to know you're healing from the scratches with no signs of infection. This is very good news indeed. I can imagine how your precious Tang was offering his sincere apologies for injuring you. I'm smiling at your princess Theresa getting up in your computer chair - - perhaps she wanted to add a few words of her own??

Life here is doing okay. My precious Noah decided to take his after breakfast nap on his bathroom window perch which is where I found him when I finally got up for the day. He is now settled comfortably next to me keeping me faithful company as I'm writing to you.

Hello moon_beam. Sunny, warm and a tad less humid greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both continuing to do well.

I think Angel Tom was looking over my shoulder today. First, I thought someone was going to invade my bus stop (the only morning I can still get that one to myself) but she kept on walking. Then I realized I had forgotten to put my August bus pass in my wallet. But no driver looked twice at me. When I got home I realized why: same colors just reversed. Work was busy and died around 9:30. Early release in plenty of time to catch the 11:43 UP bus home. And some really pretty butterflies. Thanks Sir Thomas wub.gif

No waifs again on my walk in, but clearly they are eating and drinking the food and water. So, I'll keep it up. Even if I don't get to see them much.

Theresa and Tang are doing well. Tang is still a little leery of jumping on the couch, but with my encouragement he's getting over it. I just keep my face out of the way wink.gif

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny warm Monday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

So glad you were able to get through your travels yesterday without being "bumped off" because of your expired pass. And so glad you were able to get another early release so that you and your precious fur family could enjoy more of yesterday together. That is always a bonus. No doubt your beloved Sir Thomas was looking out for you - - as always.

Got my electric bill and got that scheduled for payment this morning. Am paying the budget amount the electric company set for me a couple of years ago, and so far that seems to be keeping the accumulating monthly balance at a minimum - - even while using the central AC periodically during the hot humid days. This is very helpful indeed. My precious Noah is doing well. Had the blessing of waking up this morning snuggled next to him.

Hello moon_beam. Sunny and hot greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both doing well. Glad to hear your electric budget bill is working out well for you.

Typical Monday except for the fact my sup was absent with no word. Can't really say as I blame him. I wouldn't worry about missing if I were him either. Work force went home early, so no early release even though it was warranted.

The express bus home was right on time and traffic minimal, so that worked out at least. Only waif I saw was the little gray and white one, but only because I turned to pick up the paper bowl form yesterday. The bowls are empty and I will keep filling them. I'd much rather do this where I know where the money is going than give to one of those over bloated charities. Especially since I found out the ASPCA "president" earns well over 6 figures a year dry.gif

Theresa and Tang are both well as I'm always happy to report. But Tang's back to his cold can food boycott (sigh) I can always depend on Theresa for clean up though happy.gif

Hi, Tracy, sunny warm Tuesday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

I know what you mean about the salaries of charitable organizations, and totally agree with you that your provision for the community waifs is time, and funds, well spent. When running a charitable organization like a "business" becomes the primary objective, it seems to me the recipients of the purpose of the organization no longer is a priority.

In the next couple of weeks or so I will be having the security system upgraded, so I'm in the process of preparing for the contractor - - making sure they have the proper access to areas to do the work. Five years ago I had the security system updated for wireless service and monitoring so that I could ditch my hard wired land line. And now it is time to upgrade the rest of the system as the current equipment can no longer be serviced because the technology has changed and parts can no longer be obtained. Don't have a day yet when the crew will be here, but want to be ready ahead of time.

My precious Noah is doing well. He is settled next to me keeping me faithful company as I'm writing to you.

Hello moon_beam. Sunny and hot greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both well. I hope the security update goes OK.

Another slow day today by 10:30 AM. VTO in plenty of time to catch the early express bus which was right on time. No waifs today, but lost another water bowl mad.gif I replaced it and provisioned both colonies. A sleazy looking couple on the bench gave me pause, but they seemed content to stay out of my way.

Theresa and Tang are well and were pleased to see me in 1/2 an hour early happy.gif Tang gave me the "cold shoulder" when I didn't put can food down for him. But I told him like I told him yesterday when he turned his nose up at it. That's how it's going to be each time he does that. I'll try again tomorrow to see if he will eat it. At least he eats the dry and crunchy/meaty treats I hand out after showering.

Hello moon_beam. Cloudy and cooler (thanks to passing storms) greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both well.

Not a good day today. Apparently a new driver on my morning UPS bus. It was over 30 minutes late and the one behind him (that I ended up getting) was also late due to her trying help him with the route. I ran all the way down 6th street (no cross buses) and still ended up clocking 6 minutes late (5 is allowed for grace before you are considered "late") So for 1 lousy minute I get 1/2 a point. Not in danger, but it's galling. Thanks TARC.

The one saving grace was that it was dead. 4:00 people got to leave at 3:30, but we 5:00ers were out of luck. Express bus was right on time, but no help there due to major traffic snarls on Preston Highway. Then I check my cell to discover the apartments have sent out a text/email alert: "Please don't feed the stray pets in the community. It attracts other animals close to the buildings. Thanks!" I realize it went to everybody, but really. The complainers are the dog people that leave droppings, and that's OK with management. Memos go out about drugs too, but that still continues. I'm not stopping, but obviously will have to be even more guarded.

Speaking of which I saw a great big orange and white boy at the far colony. I commented to Tang "He's even bigger than you" His look said "The heck you say daddy!"

Both he and Theresa are well. Tomorrow is another day (sigh) I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny warm Thursday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

I'm so sorry you were "late" getting to work yesterday because of the bus driver. That was so frustrating, and I'm sorry management provides no leeway. Still, I hope management will take into consideration that this is not a routine occurrence with your attendance, as one minute depends on the source of their clock monitoring (eg., the official government time clock website, their wristwatch, time reported on the local news / radio or scrolling on a building, etc.). I hope this event will not cause you any problems.

Sounds like the apartment management has received at least one complaint, so I totally agree you will need to be more vigilant when you put food out for the community waifs. Please let us know how things go.

Have a load of laundry that is ready to go into the dryer - - making progress on the laundry basket. Went through the basket of my beloved Oslo's stuffed toys and am washing them as well. Will keep the ones I want and will donate the remainder to Noah's doctor to either use with her clients when they are in hospital for treatment or to donate as she sees fit. Also found the tethers that I used with my beloved Eli and Abbygayle when they were outside with Noah. Will also donate them to Noah's doctor for her to use or donate as appropriate. My precious Noah is doing well. He is settled next to me keeping me faithful company as I'm writing to you.

Hello moon_beam. Rainy TGIT (Thank Got it's Thursday, my Friday as you say) greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both well. I can imagine how bittersweet it must have been going through those toys and tethers. I hope the vet can make good use of them. It's very kind of you to donate them.

As I said, the 1/2 point doesn't put me in danger, it's just galling. Apparently the badge reader is on way different time than the computer/phone. A WF lady asked why I didn't sign in until 7:06 when it shows I badged in at 6:56 blink.gif At least she fixed my adherence.

With mini rushes I was starting to think I would not get VTO, but I did at 3:15. I caught the 3:45 UPS bus to Dollar Tree and the one behind it home; it had stopped raining by then. I stopped into the office and picked up a package (could have easily fit in my mail box) The manager/asst. manager were both very nice. I was wondering if I was going to be "grilled" about the waifs, but no. I have a feeling "off the record" they would applaud my efforts, but had to satisfy some haters.

That being the case, I'm not going to use bowls anymore as much as that pains me. I hate to take away what little dignity they have. But it's better than letting them starve, and leaves no "evidence". I may also have to rearrange the feeding schedule. But I'll keep it up what ever I have to do.

Theresa and Tang are both well and were pleased to see me home early happy.gif Both are relaxing as I post. I hate to break that up but it's a vacuum night.

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, cloudy humid T G I F greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

So glad you were able to get an early release yesterday so that you could get your errands done and home to your precious fur family at a decent time. Am also glad your apartment manager was cordial to you when you picked up the package making no reference to your good deeds with the community waifs. You're probably right about feeding them without leaving any "evidence" that you are continuing to do so. No, it isn't "ideal" at all but the important thing is to try to continue to provide for them as best you can without being given an eviction notice. I know the community waifs will continue to appreciate your efforts on their behalf. Please let us know how things go.

Am expecting the security system contractor on Monday, 8/10, to update some of the equipment with current technology. One of the places they will need to work is in the garage which is both a garage and storage place for my yard equipment and other "stuff." It also gets very grubby with dirt and yard debris that is tracked in by me. I have been needing to give it a good sweeping and straigthening up but it is the lowest item on the "to do" list. This morning it went to the top of the list as I needed to do some rearranging of yard equipment so that the contractor can get to the security equipment. I knew it was going to be a BIG job. Took me about 3 hours to get things rearranged, going through "stuff" that is now ready to go to the special trash bins, and sweeping up the grit and debris. The snow shovel also doubles as a dust pan - - worked beautifully. Is the garage "spick and span"? Not by any stretch of the imagination, but it is more "presentable" with good space for the contractor to do the work that needs to be done on Monday. I am very tired, though, and am looking forward to getting Noah his lunch and settling down for the rest of the afternoon and evening.

My precious Noah is doing well and is letting me know that it's time to get some lunch in his bowl so will get this off to you. I hope today is treating you and your precious Theresa and little Tang kindly, my friend, and that you and your precious companions will have a peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening. Hello moon_beam. Cloudy and not as warm TGIF greetings to you and you precious Noah. I hope you are still both doing well. Sounds like you got a lot done in the garage. I had a similar good feeling after they laid down the new carpet and I was able to get rid of a lot of junk.

I woke up to my alarm this morning and headed to the bedroom to get laundry together. I was so tired, I laid down on the bed (joined by my feline bookends) and when I woke up it was 8:00 ohmy.gif I still managed to get the room to myself and shopping done - albeit 2 hours later than usual. I tried to have lunch and found I wasn't that hungry then took another amazingly long nap. That job is literally killing me it feels like here lately sad.gif

I woke up about 4:30 and saw the parking lot and back walk deserted - I decided it was a perfect opportunity for waif re-provisioning. Even the pool was closed, so nobody down there either. The water was still there from this morning and some of the food so I topped that off after checking mail. I saw the little black cat and Grumpy Cat. Let's hope they hurry up and eat the "evidence". I have not seen Tux or Lulu in many days though. I hope they're alright unsure.gif

Theresa and Tang are both doing well as I am always happy to report. I had to give Theresa a good ear cleaning last night which she hated (they were filthy) Tang's look good though.

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny humid Caturday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

I do so understand how you're feeling when you share with us: " That job is literally killing me it feels like here lately." Call center work is high stress and high burn out even under good working conditions, so it is perfectly natural for you to feel completely drained physically, mentally, and emotionally particularly on your days off. Your body tells you that you need to "re-energize" and one of the ways to do that is through rest and sleep. So - - go ahead and enjoy those naps, my friend - - particularly when you have the company of your precious fur family!!!!

When I got done in the garage yesterday I was too tired to look at my list of when the special trash bins would be at the dumpster site, but I looked at it last evening and discovered it is this weekend. How fortuitous!!! So this morning was an early rise day to load the car up and make a jaunt to the dumpsters. So that chore is done - - for now. I know I have many more things around the homestead that can go so I will be collecting another load over time. But I must confess the garage does look better now. When I got home I did some vacuuming and dusting in the areas that the contractor will be working in. I'm trying to get things taken care of so that come Monday morning I will just have a few minor details to do before the contractor arrives.

My precious Noah is doing well. He is settled next to me keeping me company as I'm writing to you. Need to fire up the big desk top to do the security updates and scans - - that will be my last project for today.

I hope today is treating you and your precious Theresa and little Tang kindly, my friend, and that you and your precious companions will have a peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious Theresa and little Tang. Please know you and your precious companions are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to sharing your news as to how you and your precious Theresa and little Tang, and the community waifs, are doing, and to sharing your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

Peace and blessings,

Hello moon_beam. Cloudy and warm Caturday greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both well. Sounds like your cleaning of the garage was timed well in getting rid of some things.

After I woke up from my nap yesterday I felt really sick. After throwing up and a long hot shower, I felt somewhat better. Today I still do not feel well. I suppose it could be the heat or something I ate not agreeing with me, but I'm pretty sure it's this darn job dry.gif

I set my alarm this morning for 6:00, but awoke on my own around 4:30. I took care of my fur kids needs and then went out to provision the waifs. I did see Lulu (still looking so sad) later I heard what sounded like a cat scream, and looked out an saw her and the shadow of another waif. I really wish they wouldn't fight among themselves - we have enough nasty humans to cause them grief.

Theresa and Tang are both well and have taken turns keeping me company. I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny humid Sunday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

Sorry you did not feel well yesterday. Stress can indeed cause physical problems. I hope you are feeling better today so that you could go to work.

It has been a delightfully slow low key day here for my precious Noah and me - - no chores, no errands - - just focusing on spending time with my precious boy. We have had our afternoon meals and my precious boy is now stretched out on my legs taking a nap as I'm writing to you. I'm watching the movie Meteor on Hulu depicting the end of the world as we know it. Don't remember watching this movie before - - but it's fun. Every once in awhile Noah wakes up to look at the TV and then settles back down on my legs. A very perfect afternoon.

Once again, my friend, I hope you were feeling better this morning so that you could go to work. I hope this finds you and your precious Theresa and little Tang enjoying this afternoon and will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening.

Hello moon_beam. Cloudy and warm greetings to you and your precious Noah. Glad to hear you are both well and that you could have a "do nothing" day to spend quality tome together.

I do feel much better physically thank you. Yes, I was able to go to work for all of just over 2 hours. Turns out my sup's last day was also mine - fired me himself he did with no HR or operations oversight. Good thing it was his last day because I'm pretty sure he exceeded his authority. I won't go into the details (certain people will be gloating enough as is) here.

I have already submitted my UE claim online and applied for several jobs including one off the UE's own web site. Theresa and Tang have tried to be supportive sensing something was wrong - walking in the door just after 10:30 was probably a dead give way dry.gif

Much work ahead of me, but at least now my job search will have the urgency that it probably should have had all along (sigh)

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, cloudy oppressively humid Monday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in reasonably good spirits.

I'm sorry you have yet another episode of unemployment to deal with and the financial stress that goes along with it. It doesn't surprise too much that your outgoing supervisor was given the task of terminating your employment, as the incoming supervisor usually wants to hire his / her own crew. I hope your focused search will find you a new job with a healthier work environment. Please let us know how things go.

It has been a very busy day here with the security contractor. The crew arrived around 9:30 and left a little after 2 p.m. The upgrade of equipment is wonderful and hopefully I won't have to have another upgrade for as long as I'm living in this home. I was concerned as to how the work would affect Noah, so I gave him a tranquilizer this morning to help keep his nerves soothed, and I'm soooooooooo glad I did. He has had his lunch and we are finally settled down together with him stretched out on my legs resting peacefully. I was too tired to fix much of a lunch for me, but I had a bowl of cereal and that seems to be enough. I'm just too tired right now to fix a full lunch and it's too oppressively humid to really have much of an appetite. I'll have a snack later on after I get Noah his dinner, and that will suffice for me today.

Once again, my friend, I'm so very sorry that you are having to rely on unemployment again for your financial needs. Please let us know how things go with your job search. I hope today is treating you and your precious Theresa and little Tang kindly, my friend, and that you and your precious companions will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening.

Hello moon_beam. Cloudy, humid, but not as warm greetings to you and your precious Noah. Glad to hear you were able to get your security upgrades done as well as taking steps to be sure your little man wouldn't get too stressed out. Sounds like you have had quite a taxing day.

Thank you, as always, for your support. I had an email and then call from a recruiter for a RX call center over the bridge in Indiana which looks doable on the bus. He said it would be in excess of 15.00 per hour (my target) waiting to see how that goes. I also have a preliminary phone interview tomorrow with a recruiter from the very same company the jerk sup went to - let's hope I don't end up under him if I get it. In addition to that, 2 recruiters from the same agency called and left VMs on my cell. I'm a little leery of that company and am waiting to see how it goes with the other 2 first. I'm really hoping I get that first job. Ironically, I would never have posted on (ie went looking) it if I had still been working.

Theresa and Tang are well and have been very comforting and supportive. Tomorrow is another day and I'm trying to stay as positive as possible under the circumstances. I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny humid Tuesday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in reasonably good spirits.

I'm glad to share your news that you are receiving positive responses to your job search, and am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers that all will go well with your interviews. I hope you will be able to obtain the job YOU want this time, my friend, instead of having to take "a job" just to get employed again. Please let us know how things go.

For some reason I have lost reception to one of the local channels, and don't know if the channel is having transmission problems or if the problem is with the antenna. I have called and e-mailed the channel to try to get an answer but so far have not received a response. I have contacted a local TV service company who does work on antennas and am waiting to hear back from them for a service time. There's always "something" to deal with. The security system upgrade is working very well - - and that is good news.

My precious Noah and I are very thankful to have peace and tranquility restored to our little home from yesterday's intense contractor work. I am thankful for not having anything on the "agenda" for today except perhaps the possibility of getting the antenna issue resolved. My precious boy is settled next to me keeping me company as I'm writing to you.

Once again I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers that all will go well with your interviews, my friend, and please let us know how things go with your job search. I hope today is treating you and your precious Theresa and little Tang kindly, and that you and your precious companions will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening.

Hello moon_beam. Sunny and very warm greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both well. Sorry to hear about losing your channel and hope it's resolved soon.

I have not yet heard back from the healthcare recruiter from yesterday. But my phone interview for the other company went well enough. She was very friendly and said the local hiring manager was looking forward to speaking with me. I have an on-site interview Thursday morning. She also was not fazed when I told her about having to take a somewhat limited express bus to get there - that they could surely work something out schedule wise.

Theresa and Tang are both well and were able to enjoy some early morning balcony time as it was cool enough for that. Both have been wonderful company today.

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny pleasant Wednesday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in reasonably good spirits.

Thank you for letting us know how things are going with your job search. I hope you hear back from the medical employer requesting an interview. The other job sounds promising in that so far the recruiter is willing to work with you regarding your transportation and work schedule. During your interviews you may want to consider asking about the bad weather leave policy when public transportation is not running / the governor declares a state of emergency due to hazardous conditions. This will at least prepare you ahead of time for the employer's expectations and enable you to hopefully prepare your travels accordingly when bad / hazardous weather is forecasted. Until you acquire another job, my friend, I hope your unemployment benefits will begin quickly and will cover the necessary expenses. I remember how desperate things got for you during your last job search, and I hope you will be able to avoid that experience this time. Please let us know how things go.

Thank you for your comforting support about my current TV channel aggravation. I did not hear back from the TV service contractor yesterday so I called this morning to check on the status. The office administrator was very pleasant and assured me that I am on the list for scheduling an appointment. She did not say this but it may not be for another week until I hear back when the crew foreman schedules the appointments. So - - this is where things stand at this time. I will survive.

Am working on the security updates on the big desk top, and have completed a load of laundry which has just finished in the dryer. Have some financials to take care of, and am in the process of doing some minor "surgery" on the stuffed toys I am donating to Noah's doctor - - some have split seams and others need a little "face lift" here and there. The ones I have worked on so far look decent. So we'll see how it goes when I take them the next time I go get Noah's food supply.

My precious Noah is doing well. He is settled next to me keeping me company as I'm writing to you. I hope today is treating you and your precious Theresa and little Tang kindly, and that you and your precious companions will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening.

Hello moon_beam. Sunny and pleasant greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both still doing well. I'm sorry to hear your favorite channel is still out and hope it gets fixed soon.

Thanks for the support in the job search. Have to get up bright and early tomorrow for the interview. Wish me luck. I've had a few other VMs as well. I'll follow up on those as soon as I can. I get a little leery when the callers seem a bit too eager - if you know what I mean.

I woke up early this morning to give Tang his shot and freshen his and Theresa's food and water as well as provision the waifs. As I was coming in from that, I was greeted by Tux and Lulu. Earlier when I was coming back from getting my mail, Lulu found me again. I sat down on the cement area behind the stairs and under the shade. She came up and we "chatted" for a while just enjoying the birds singing and the cool breeze.

Theresa and Tang are both well and have been excellent company today. I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN
