Less than a week before Jesse died I had a dream that we were riding on a wooden cart, pulled by two galloping horses, through a dark woods. Jesse began to slip off the back of the cart and although I tried to hold on to him, he was pulled away from me and disappeared.
I was so upset I got out of bed and held him for an hour. I guess sometimes we get a warning - it certainly was vivid enough to make me hug the heck out of him for a couple of days.... |
