My Pretty Boy Max
Mommy just wants to tell you I did not forget it was a year on the 2nd. It was just to painful for me to even come here to write to you. Mommy has decided not to put a tree up again this year for I dont feel joy nor do I have the desire. Christmas was always my favorite holiday but now it is just the sad reminder that you and Dozer are not here getting your stocking filled of treats. I have been so depressed and to think that in just 3 months it will be when Dozer came to be with you. As the tears fall dowm my cheeks know that mommy loves you and you will always be my little boy and I know you are gods special angel. I know you and Dozer are just beautiful with your wings. Well mommy has to go I cant stop crying. I love you and miss you so much.

What a beautiful picture...it made me cry just looking at it. It reminded me when I would sit and watch the sunsets and sunrises with Daisy. I'm sorry it has been a sad and painful year for you. I think a lot of us here understand the decision to not put up a tree for Christmas. I also decided not to. I hope one year we all will enjoy the holiday's the way we used to. It's hard when depression seems to be the dominant emotion in our lives right now....especially with all the holidays. I know I started crying again when driving home from work...just when you think you couldn't possibly have anymore tears left...then....ugh.

God created these creatures before he created man.....so they must be pretty darn special to him. Like you said "God's Special Angels". That they are.

Anna...I know what you mean about the holidays...today I was wrapping gifts and hubby came in and picked up an empty wrapping paper roll (you know the cardboard roll/stick that the paper is rolled on) and said remember how much Pooh loved to play with these? I said yes and got teary eyed and then he hit me in the head with it...and said Pooh is watching us and wants us to be happy! And I will be...for him...Max and Dozer want nothing more than you be happy...they really do!

I will soon be a year my beautiful Angel Dozer that you left us so so sudden. There isnt a day that goes by that we dont think of and miss you. You will never be forgotton and will always be part of our lives. You were one extrodinary dog. There will never be a bullmastiff that compares to you. When god created you he created one of the most beautiful creatures. He broke the mold after you. My heart still hurts as much today as it did a year ago. Hi Anna,

That was a beautiful post to your gorgeous Dozer. He looks and sounds like such an incredible dog. In 3 months it will be one year since my baby joined the angels - it's crazy, isn't it? Where does the time go? But it's also amazing how the love just seems to get stronger and stronger even after they've physically left us. That's got to be proof that a part of them is still here with us and always will be.

Thank you Cheryl, yes the love they gave to us will stay with us forever. We will never forget or stop loving them. Time does go by so fast just as thier lives did and once they are gone you realise just how fast life. I send you my prayers and thoughts also.
