MAX

As I sit hear and cry
I question myself and ask God why

The pain is so real
That I pray for time to make it heal

I lay in bed at night
Just trying to convience myself what I did was right

I talked to you as if you are here
Just because I love you so, Max my dear

I miss playing the in and out game
My precious Max the house isnt the same

As the day and nights seem longer
My love and missing you just gets stronger

You touched my life that words cant express
I guess that is why I stay so depressed

As I stare at your empty bed
Oh the visions of you in it in my head

Max Please patiently wait for me
Until my time is up and my eyes no longer see

You where mommy,s protector and my rock
So me feeling this way shouldn't be a shock

So sleep in peace my little boy
You where and are my pride and joy

Why are there so many songs about Rainbows,
And what's on the other side?
Rainbows are visions, but only illusions,
And Rainbows have nothing to hide.

So we've been told and some choose to believe it.
I know they're wrong, wait and see.
Someday we'll find it, the Rainbow Connection ...
The Lovers, the Dreamers and me.

Who said that every wish would be heard and answered,
When wished on the morning star?
Somebody thought of that and someone believed it,
And look what it's done so far.

What's so amazing that keeps us stargazing,
And what do we think we might see?
Someday we'll find it, the Rainbow Connection,
The Lovers, the Dreamers, and me!

All of us under its spell ...
We know that it's probably Magic!

Have you been half asleep? And have you heard voices?
I've heard them calling my name.
Is this the sweet sound that calls the young sailors?
The voice might be one and the same.

I've heard it too many times to ignore it.
It's something that I'm s'posed to be.
Someday we'll find it! the Rainbow Connection ...

You two are up very late again, and I am yet again up very early .... couldn't sleep so got up at 4 am, felt drawn to you all, and then saw what you'd posted for me.

Thanks Jan I just left you a post. Seems that there is a higher power that keeps us here. I am up all the time. I do very little sleeping even when I go to bed just stare and listen into the night.

I hope you can manage some sleep. Some nights are getting better for me now. I have a photo on my bedside table, of Tasha and Noushka together. One of many that I have in my bedroom. I kiss their dear faces in that photo each night before I turn off the light, then I close my eyes while the image of them seems to be imprinted . I plainly see them, and it sort of makes me feel so warm and comforted. I can then manage to fall asleep. Usually only for a couple of hours though. I seem to wake so early every morning , thats when the sad realisation sets in again, that there's no darling girl to lick me and fuss me and talk to me, -yes sammies are very vocal dogs and they do seem to talk, def can say something like 'I love you' in a 'wer wer wu' sort of way.So I usually get up between 3 and 4 am. Look out at where their little graves are in the garden, which as you say, now looks as if they're covered in a thick blanket of snow. Always hoping to see their paw prints.
I then come on here and there's usually a message from one or other of our dear new friends. It really is comforting , isn't it, to know that such dear and caring people are thinking of us.

I hope that tonight you can manage some sleep, and that you have lovely dreams of your darling Max.

Thank you Brutus' mommy if you look close it looks like a pitch fork I always called him my little devil so cant you emangine him with his angel wings. Its been another horrible day. Every time I try to venture away from home all I do is cry. I know out shopping today crying people must have thought I lost my best friend and little be known I did. Max your are so dam cute you and your little nub tail. Please dont ask for your tail back mommy loves you just the way you are. You came to mommy that way and I love you just the way you are. So even if at the bridge you get teased for no tail tell them your mommy luvs you just the way you are.
