Poem For Bono, Missing him so much Options

I thought I was feeling a little better ... Its been over a month since Bono died ... And this week I've gone downhill again. So I wrote a little poem for him ... well for me really.

If you’re down then I’m right here
I’ll come to you and hold you near

Every minute of every day
I’m right here so come today

Lay in my arms, I’ll hold you tight
I’ll stay with you throughout the night

Just let me know where you are
I know you can’t be very far

For I feel you whole inside my heart
Although it breaks, its torn apart

But heres my arms to rest upon
And heres my love so very strong

I cannot promise not to cry
Nor can I ever say goodbye

I’d rather feel this living pain
Of never holding you again

Than contemplate forgetting you
Than daring to try and love anew …

When I cry please come to me
And rest your head upon my knee

Come and hug me one last time
Make it better, angel of mine

Tell me how you run and play
And how you’re happy every day

Tell me that your pain is gone
And that you’re young again and strong

And tell me that you miss me too
That you think of me when I am blue

Then I will smile and set you free
With promises to visit me

Once in a while, in the setting sun
Come home and visit your old mum

I’ll open my arms for a long warm hug
I’ll hold you tight and close and snug

Do not think you’re left behind
Although I live you’re in my mind

Although I smile I think of you
Although I love, I love you too.
