So,
We just got Leon's ashes today. It continues to be so difficult, and I'm not sure what to think or feel about him returning home in a little box- It is beautiful, the pet memorial park was so kind... but I am finding that I am holding on- I'm having difficulty saying goodbye. I just miss him so much... I just can't seem to take this all in. It feels like it all happened so fast- like it happened too fast. I have lit a little pink candle for Leon tonight- -Rebecca -------------------- Leon- you little love, you stole my heart away the second we first met... I'm so sad to have to say goodbye so soon. All my love to you forever. Go play with your new friends... I just miss you.
Leon entered my life October of 1998, we parted November 2005. |

Rebecca, I am sending warm thoughts your way. I know this is so painful. I find that I have to keep crying to help the healing. It is very hard but I find that the times of extreme pain have become farther and farther apart. They are still there.
