I posted on here about a month ago regarding my little baby girl who passed away. I received a call today at work from my son. One of our neighbors found my daughters cat on the side of the road..no external injuries...she had passed away. My daughter is 15 years old. She has had this cat since she was six. I have never seen a cat so trained. When my daughter was little, she could say "Crystal, barbies" and her cat would go upstairs and bring a barbie doll down to her so they could play. She slept with her, and only her, every night. Curled up in a little ball by my daughters head. She even trained this cat to take baths! They would spend time together by playing and listening to music. They truly were the best of friends. My daughter is devastated. This cat was her world. Over the years, I have bought my daughter film for her camera. Every time, never failed, about 20 of the 24 pics would be of her cat. Crystal will be buried next to my Baby Girl. My daughter will never forget Crystal and I don't think Crystal will ever forget my daughter. She will always be with her.

I'm so sorry about Crystal. She sounds like an amazing girl. I know your daughter must be devastated. Do you think it might help her to set up an account here and post her feelings?

Please give my sincere condolences to your daughter.
Hugs,
Kathleen

Wow- Crystal was one smart kitty! How difficult it must be for your daughter to go through, and for you to have to witness her sadness. Please know that everyone here knows what you and your daughter are feeling and are wishing you all the best. wub.gif
I am so sorry to hear of your loss.
Thinking of you,
Dana

Greetings of Peace to You ~ I read your heartfelt post with a sadness and a joy at the same time ~ I also still feel that emptiness and sense of shell shock as is the case in loss you describe ~ Everytime I lose a love, it leaves a space in my heart that is never filled the same way ~ The joy of a pure and innocent being such as Crystal is light to my soul ~ I am so happy she had such a wonderful life with you and your daughter ~ I could envison every description that you spoke of and it made me laugh at the total delight we find in our animal companions that also end up being our teachers ~ wub.gif May you and your daughter find comfort this day ~ I have been burning a memory candle every day since Amber passed ~ this day your babie you lost and Crystal are also part of the timelessness in the flame ~ God Bless you in the days ahead ~ Sincere Thoughts, Kathryn

Peace Be With You ~ Kathryn ~ Angel Amber ~ Angel CC~ and Sammie

I lost my Amber Tabby Girl of nearly 20 years on 3/28/05 after a valiant battle with end stage CRF. Always a beacon in the storm ~ steady and true.

C.C was my purebred White Angora I lost to cancer on 10/22/05 at age 13~ A Big Gentle yet Oddly Eccentric Creature ~Through his congenital deaf ness ~He brought an innocent joy to my life and light to my heart

I also adopted an 8 yr old Burmese named Samantha who led me back into my own room ~ still a stranger to me ~ she sweetly gives peace to Amber's final days spent there and lights my way to see in the darkness of the spaces that my precious CC has left behind.
