Had To Put My 2 Babies To Sleep Today Options

We had to put our 2 babies to sleep this morning.Cody 8 year old ##er spaniel who had major neurological problems and pearl 14 year old fox terrier who was in so much pain. This came at a shocking time as my mum is starting to lose her battle with cancer. Both dogs should have gone ages ago but i guess through our own selfishness we didn't want to part with them. I feel terrible because when it came time to put them to sleep i wasn't able to cope going in there with them. My very brave 16 year old son went into the room and helped take their collars off but wasn't able to stay either. I feel so upset that i wasnt able to stay while our beautiful boy and girl went to sleep. Cody and Pearl brought such joy into our life's and i feel so miserable that i wasn't able to be with them at the end.
