A friend of mine who knew how much I loved Precious and has been my friend for many years gave me such a wonderful present this year! I blubbed when I opened the box. It was a double picture frame; one side was a blowup of the picture you see on the left (all cat and no background) and a purple pawprint on a red heart with the words Precious Memories above and below the heart. (I will do a picture tonight and upload it to this thread so you can see how lovely it is!) This friend does stained glass and that's what it is. I thanked her endlessly for it. She told me that she was so sorry about Precious' death and she wanted me to have something I could cherish -- and she was so right!

THAT IS AWESOME! Keep her close. It seems some here have been shunned by all they know and can only come here for support. It is wonderful to have a real shoulder to cry on, real eyes to look into, and a heart that beats to the same tune as yours when it comes to understanding that our pets are not just that...they are a part of the essence of who we are and when they die..they take a piece of us with them we can NEVER get back
