You are so kind and sweet. I'm so happy that little poem helped you so much. Yes, I have seen where you have written it in posts to others. I hope it can help them too.....I thank you too, for the help and encouragement you have given me during the last months. As time goes by I do feel better, but I still get those leaky eye days........I enjoyed the little book "I'll Meet You in Heaven" (through leaky eyes.).....Thank you again for offering to send it to me.

I hope you and Rufus had a good 4th. We are in another heat wave here. We stayed in and kept cool. But we did feed and water the birds and other animals that come around.

If you ever want me to help you post Gretta's and Rufus' picture, just let me know....

I have been reading through some old posts of mine about Trevor. It will be his one year anniversary in 17 days.

Hi LoveMyMickey and Mickey!

Well, I think the worst is over for this hot spell. At least it's only in the high 90's today. Might even rain tonight.......nah, not that lucky!

I just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking about you all the time (actually, all of you, including your daddy) and hoping that these days are not being too rough on you. LoveMyMickey, you are such a darling person, so thoughtful and kind. No wonder Mickey chose you and your hubby to be his parents!

Gotta go say HI! to Trevor. The "day" is getting closer and closer.

Oh Bobbie, thank you for your kind words!........It is still hot here. According to the weather radar there is rain all around us, so maybe it will get here. Mickey's little gravesite doesn't look too good because of the dry weather although I kept watering the little green stuff. It will have to be worked on later.

Two questions, do you know what year Trevor was born and when do you want me to post the poem? It is almost finished. I hope you like it. I know this is especially a rough time for you, the anticipation of the one year anniversary......My thoughts and prayers are with you, my friend.

Hi LoveMyMickey!

Yes, you ARE the BEST and don't ever forget it! I don't know when Trevor was born, but his Guardian Angels found him in their yard back in 2008. I don't remember the date, but we put it on his gravestone. Trevor died on July 22, 2011 at about 11:00 am.

Why don't you post the poem either the 18th or the 19th or you can send it to me privately as well. I want to get it laminated and left at his grave on the 22nd. You know how I want the entire world to know what a wonderful little boy he was/is. Whenever I say that I don't want you to think that I think any less of Mickey. He, too, is one of a kind!

Thank you, again, for being so unselfish during your own grief journey, that you will help out someone you haven't even met!

My Dear Sweet Boy Mickey,

Well, another Tuesday had rolled around,
Oh, where does the time go?
Sometimes it goes fast,
And sometimes very slow.

My Little One, I saw you today
Within a little white butterfly,
And in the gentle breeze
That touched me as it went by.

The birds were singing joyfully
Maybe you could hear,
Although you weren't with me
I could feel you near.
