Thank you all so much for your prayers and concerns and all your emails. We still don't know if little Amber Genee is going to make it or not, they are doing all they can for her. She has lost so much weight her bones are sticking out and she looks so sickly my husband, daughter and I are learning how to try to open her mouth and force feed her. It is nice to have a vet that lets you visit the hospital and teaches you these things. We only pray the fluids and meds will pull her through and restore her to good health. I just don't know how we can deal with losing her after losing Chili Bean not long ago. Just look how sick she looks before we took her to the second vet she looks even worse now.

Poor little Amber. She looks so sick and miserable. But I'm certain she'll continue to fight to overcome her illness because she knows she has a family who loves her very much. Her incredibly strong will to live will surely pull her through. I'm hoping and praying for the best possible outcome.

Poor baby, I was hoping she would be doing better by now. The way things are going you should be opening up your critical care unit soon. it touches me how much you care for the furbabies in your life, they are lucky when the family of Ann H takes them in. It is to bad you could'nt file a lawsuit against the company for advertising that it was safe for animals, I question if it was safe for children also. I know a posioning is hard to recover from but can be done, just takes time and love, but they sure get real sick before they recover. I sure hope this works out, I know being loved and cared for like she is can only help. Praying for you............Pamela

I did absent healing for Amber at church today and put her in the healing book.

sometimes the effect is to help them pass over quickly and with little pain, i hope for you it is recovery.

I really appreciate all the prayers and comfort you have each offered. Thanks you Jim, Pamela and Sue and all that have sent me e-mails. Look on the Bissell pet odor and soil carpet cleaner. It does not say what is in it, but the name implies it is safe for animals. I guess you can't sue if it doesn't say it is safe just proves we can't be ignorant but have to look deeper into things to keep our babies.

There is just so much hearbreak going on for me right now and without all of you I might not be able to hang in there. I used to think I was strong and could do most things but in the face of death I find I am not as strong as I thought I was. I hate to admit it but I feel weak and frail and almost helpless.
Love, Ann

Ann,
I am sooooo sorry that Amber is going through this. I am glad you caught this as early as you did. And a very special thanks to you because my husband just bought the Bissel Spot remover cleaner and the shampoo. I hadn't even used it yet and got to work yesterday and saw your post. Thank You for posting and being a part of LS. I think you just saved all of my furbabies (and I have a lot compared to a lot of people). I went home and told my husband we are taking the shampoo back due to the poisoning. Information is the best for us with furbabies. You and Amber are in my thoughts especially now. Take care and let us know how Amber is doing!!!
