Sam is rapidly growing out of the kitten stage and is now at the beginning of the "teenager" stage. For the first time he finally managed to jump up in the kitchen window. Here he is with Elvira in the background. Being larger, she still gets to hog the good window spot!

Boy, what a week Sam has given us! He was neutered 4 days ago and I was very worried about how he would do. I shouldn't have been concerned. After sleeping off the anesthesia that afternoon he was at the baby gates crying to get out. He woke me up at 4AM the next morning pouncing on my feet in bed and I knew he was fine. This morning I raised the toilet seat lid and Sam promptly ran into the bathroom and jumped into the toilet! I dried him off and 2 minutes later he was chasing Reba all through the house playing with her. Yep, Sam the Man is a real character. Here he is today resting and trying to look angelic after his antics.
