Its been since the 1st July and I miss him so much, I just went for a glass of water and saw his face in the pic on the wall and I broke down and cried and I cant stop.

Hi Clareriley,
I am so glad you put up Scooby's photograph. He is beautiful!
No doubt you miss him--! He was one-of-a-kind and your friendship couldn't be more unique!
I don't think we'll have a day when we don't think of them, our sweet and precious companions. I remember my guy being with me like it was yesterday--and when I remember him I can see him so clearly it really is like he is with me...except I can't hoist him up to my shoulders or laugh as he dives into his food tray.
One of the posters here says when you cry you should try to think of something your Scooby did that made you smile or laugh. My favorite vision that made me laugh was Ginger sunbathing. He laid on his back all stretched out like a little person.
I am betting Scooby had a trademark something or other that never ceased to bring a smile to your lips. Try to remember those things too---it definately will help. Someday you will find you have more smiles about Scooby than tears. That day really does come. It takes awhile...but it does come.
Thinking of you!
Love,
Patti

Hi Patti, thank you for your kind words, it took me ages to get the pic up but I managed it in the end

Last night I didnt get to sleep untill 3am I just had to cry myself to sleep but now when I read your words scooby did do one thing that always had me in a fot of giggles. he always used to smile at you and show his teeth when you grinned at him

I am so sorry for your loss. He is a beautiful boy. Your pain now is proof of your love. He knew he was loved, and you knew that you loved him. That is a wonderful thing.

Hi Clareriley,
What a handsome dog! He looks so cuddly--makes you just want to reach into the picture and grab him and give him a big ole hug. Oh what a wonderful life the two of you must have had together. He 'looks' like a dog who had a very happy life.
I wish I knew the magic words to say that would end your pain. My giving you advice at this point would be like the blind leading the blind. But I do want you to know that I'm thinking of you and if we'll both keep visiting this website and talking with all the wonderful people here, things WILL get better. It helps so much just to talk to people who understand and care.
