When we start a new topic in a Section and we see an error in the Topic t*itle...is there any way to correct it.?? I couldn't find any.

For instance, I had just posted a new topic in New Beginnings ent*itled Here's Lucky Again with a subt*itle of Shelter kitty not camera shy.

After I did this, I noticed the last time I did it I had also called that t*itle
Here's Lucky Again. I wanted to go to the new one and change it to something like
New Lucky Pictures because I didn't want people to think it was the old one that everyone has seen. The duplicate topic t*itles could make someone think this.

Once a topic t*itle is chosen..how can it be modified? I know the entries and replies can be modified but how does one correct a topic t*itle?

Thanks for any help and/or advice on this one.

ok, this is because of censorship. i have had adult links spammers sweep by here in the past, so the word combo you discovered in in any form of a word gets the * treatment. there are others too that people have noticed.

i am trying to keep the site family-friendly, but certain word combos do have their frustration. with t*it being one of them. it seems to be one of the more used terms, so i will put it back as valid.

i hand select new members anyways, but the last adult links-bot was particularly malicious and crude. give me a day or two to fix that.

Does that mean if you say that word is okay..there will be a way to modify that sentence? and it can be corrected?

If you can choose a word to use, maybe use "Subject" instead of "Txtle" , like
new Subject.

All I wanted to do was change the wording inside my new topic "txtle" so it didn't duplicate my last new topic on Lucky.

If you can't change the wording...I can live with duplicates that I create if it helps keep the wrong malicious people off of here. Don't change that word back to being okay if it leads to other things..my subtxtle is different and it is more important to keep junk off of here.

If it really bothers me, I am sure I can just delete the whole new topic and its pictures and do it over..paying more attention to the Subject Line.

I think I just confused myself. tongue.gif

i was confused too so have given back the opportunity to use the word TITle and a couple others that were giving us troubles.

Will gratitude and attitude also be changed? I also tried to use the word 33hose and it was not allowed. (As in nylons)

Thanks for all you do to keep this beautiful forum going. It has been a livesaver for me. smile.gif

any word with the letters 'tit' in succession has been salvaged; as for p a n t y, lets keep that one banned for now until it starts getting used more regularly.
