I miss my Shiloh, Shi-Shi, the Big Fatty... My light and my heart. I had to put her to sleep on Friday. Her friend Moon wakes me up every day with her cries. I know it was the right thing for her. I know she was suffering and I did not want her to suffer anymore, but I am still torn up inside. I just want people to know about her. I have never been around a kitty that was so affectionate, so sweet, so patient with humans. She would come to you when you called her name, she would walk up to you and lick your arm or hand. Flop onto her back and ask you to rub her belly. You could tickle the hair between the toes and she would let you for a little bit...You would pick her up and you could tell she was annoyed, but she would let you hold her, it was like she knew you would eventually let her go. She loved to go outside, not to roam, but lay back in a nice patch of grass and while away her days. Chase the occasional butterfly or bug. If she did not want to come inside, I would leave her out and she would leave "presents" by the back stoop. I heard from the neighbors how she would turn into the great huntress.... She and Moon would let another neighborhood kitty catch the prey, Moon would distract the hunter and Shi would steal the prey. Bad I know, but funny none the less. Shi-Shi... Moon, your dad, Ob-a-chan, and myself will always carry you in our hearts. I know you are up in heaven. Be a good kitty up there, as I know you are

My deepest sympathies to you and your family for the loss of your Beloved Shiloh. Shi's story is much the same as some of the cats of whom I was fortunate enough to be their person.
