The death of a pet can be a significant experience for some people. What can make the loss particularly hard is others not understanding the loss. In fact, there is little research conducted in this area. As a result, Researchers at Purdue University are conducting a study to learn more about what pet owners go through when a pet dies.

If you have experienced the death of a pet we want to hear from you!

Sharing YOUR experiences has the potential to benefit others. Completing this study will assist researchers and individuals in the helping professions (e.g., counselors) to better understand and serve people who have experienced the death of a pet.

To participate just click on the link below which brings you to an online survey, this will take 10-15 minutes to complete.

http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~cmhenry/

In addition to the survey there is also a list of links to resources providing information on pet loss on that website. If you prefer a paper and pencil copy you can email the researcher and she can mail one to you.

Responses will only be seen by the principal investigator and all data will be managed and shared as summations with no individual ever identified. All information will be kept completely confidential and not shared with anyone. Only summary data will be reported.

Let your voice be heard!

Thanks for your time,

Oh My Gawd! I only just saw this and filled it out in great detail regarding what happened to my Alex. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Always,
Dottie xoxoxox

PS. Under "Comments" this is what I typed:

My attorney John Hamel has all information on file pertaining to Alex because the three cuprits also stole thousands and thousands of dolars worth of items from my home after the fumigation tent came off and before I got home at 6:45 PM on October 14, 2007. But I don't care about the robbery because it's just "stuff." I caught them myself red handed. What nerve and stupid, too. I mean, really.

His name is John Hamel, Esquire (attorney at law). His contact information is email address: Hamellaw@gmail.com and his phone number is: 813-832-9975 ...

By the way, the same day they murdered Alex, Ida Cesareo was positively identified as taking my Buddy dog and Styx kitty to the pound and requesting them to be euthanized ASAP. Doh on her for not removing their current license tags which led Dana's computer search immediately to me and she did call that day.

There are tons and tons of more detailed information. Three culprits are guilty and one is most likely the "ring leader" ... I can explain that.

NO ONE WILL HELP ME!!! NO ONE WHO HAS AUTHORITY TO DO ANYTHING CARES!!! OMG!!! PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO NEXT?!?!?!

My information is:
Dottie (Doris) ***INFO WITHELD HERE. SORRY!
I did give my last name, address, phone number and email address though.***

According to objective experts who do not know myself nor Alex agree that he had the cognizance, reasoning ability, emotions, personality, behavior, clarity of speech and knew what all meant in his vocabulary and much more as "that of a normal 4 to 5 year old human child!"

JUSTICE!!! PLEASE JUSTICE!!!

THANK YOU!!!

Again, Thank you and God Bless You Most Abundantly!!! More Hugs!!!
