what a wonderful thought. I cherish my pictures of Alley and I know you feel the same about yours. Someday maybe we can look at them without being so sad.

Mack Attack! What a goregous dog! I said goodbye to our darling Caesar, a month ago, yesterday, and I can't even imagine a tearless day. My heart is so very filled with love for my Caesar. The guards at the gates... I bet it gets real "interesting" there, sometimes! Thanks for sharing the lovely picture! Take care and blessings.

Seeing this photo of your handsome guy, my heart breaks for you too. I love his brindle markings.

That is one of the most beautiful tributes I have ever heard and well deserved I'm sure.

Oh, what a beautiful boy...thank you for sharing this, I can only imagine how hard it was for you to see this picture and bring it to us. I am only now beginning to look at my pictures, but I have not yet been able to place any into the scanner to make them digital so I can post them. They are all film photos. The one I posted was one I had already scanned a long time ago. It was of Larry and me in 1994...which seems like only yesterday and yet it might as well be thousands of years ago because we cannot go back. But as Larry will be forever young in his photographs, so will dear Mack, and these images are treasures for us that we can keep all our lives.
I never met Mack, but through this image I can see across the miles of dark night out there how soft and warm his coat, how intelligent and strong, how gentle and noble he must have been. In spirit, I can give Mack a tender hug, and tell him that he is so missed and so loved that his earthly parent has shared his image with other humans who care.
My Larry loved dogs. He loved everyone. He is with Mack, and I know he must feel secure to be guarded by such a magnificent dog in paradise.

Mack is a sweet one. Look at those big loving eyes! I bet you just loved to put your arms around him. Gosh, how very sad to lose such a noble creature. I always thought that you could judge a pet's human family by the look and temperament of the pet. The pets mentioned in this forum were (and continue to be) very lucky to have such exceptional human moms and dads!
