Hello, everyone.Today in the mail I recieved the river rock memory stone that I ordered for my boy Sox off the internet. It is the most beautiful stone I have ever seen and it touched me so much when I opened the box.I had it inscriped with his name and We Miss You and his birth and death dates. It will be placed in our garden on top of his grave.I hope he is pleased with it and he can see it from the other side.If you are thinking of getting one of these kinds of river stones,I highly recommend the website www.loverocks.com They did an outstanding job with it and it was very affordable.Just thought I would share that with all of you.Hope everyone is having a good night and you are all in my prayers tonight.Sincerely,Renee (Sox's mom)

Oh Renee.....how could he not be pleased with it....I don't even know what it looks like but the act of honouring Sox in such a noble fashion just can't be wrong. I salute you and I know your Baby is just beaming about it

That sounds beautiful, Renee, and I'm sure Sox is very pleased and happy to see you doing something that not only honours him but also brings you some better feelings.
I tried that website addy, but it only brought up some website on pictures and posters, etc. Can you check the addy again, as I'd like to look this up?

How beautiful! What a wonderful tribute to your Sox.
We just got a 16X20 pic of Moose. It looks like it was painted. It was made from a photo we had. He was looking right in the camera and it looks just like he is watching us, it's almost lifesize. I'll have to look into the riverrock thing, I like that idea.

Oh my goodness,I have to update you guys on that website...its www.loverocksinc.com not www.loverocks.com I left out the inc.! I hope that it works for you if you try it again.I found the people who run the website to be so helpful and they did such a beautiful job I just had to share it with all of you.Thank you all for the kind words and I hope you all are doing better.I still have good days and bad days but the bad days are coming less frequently now.I thank God for that and let's not forget about our candle lighting ceremony on christmas eve @ 10:00 p.m. Keep in touch with me and let me know if your going to joining me so I can include your pets name in my personal ceremony.Sincerely,Renee (Sox's mom)

I wonder if there is any way we could post a list of the pets names we wish to remember on that day. I really want to do that and I don't want to leave anyones furbaby out

John, that is a wonderful idea......sorry I didn't think of it myself.I don't want to leave anyone's baby out of the ceremony either.I'll start a post and ask everyone to reply with their pets name, how old they were and were they lived. That way we can visualize each and every one of them on christmas eve and we'll be able to send out more positive thoughts to everybody. My husband thinks it's a great idea what we're doing. He thinks it will help us all in our healing.I think it will do just that...I've been thinking of you and I'm praying that you are doing better.Be sure to include your darling boy on the post! Sincerely,Renee (Sox's mom)
