Missing Digger
Hello:

My new puppy is bonding closely with my husband and not with me. He is home all day and I work so naturally he would do this but I feel very depressed and just miss Digger. He was my dog and I guess I was hoping for that type of relationship with my new pup. I don't think it was a good idea to get another dog. sad.gif
Sidney's Buddy
The one thing that I have learned is that all of these adjustments to our lives take time. I still need more time to deal with the loss of Sidney and then I will get another little furball. I'm sure that with time you will bond with the little guy. It's hard to change quickly after all of these years together.

It will get better. Good luck.

Give it time. Your new puppy can never replace Digger, but may turn out to be as good a friend if you give it a chance. Try to spend a lot time with him when you are home and you will probably come to see what is special and wonderful about him - different the Digger, but wonderful in its own way.

Best wishes,

Daisy's Mommy
