After my precious Gizmo was attacked and killed in the park by the pit bull mix, I contacted the local paper here and they ran a story about the incident. I have to say that I am really sad that not one person who was at the park that day and saw what happened came forward with information. Now my Gizzy is gone...my house is empty...our grief is overwhelming...and we can't even punish those responsible. This viscious dog is free to kill again..and next time it may not be a dog he kills. I have just begun to get angry and I am asking for any advice you all may have as to what I can do. My baby is dead and the family of this other dog has not even tried to apologize for what happened. My five year old misses Gizmo terribly..as I do..she's actually handling it better than I am. I'm so angry that our lives are changed forever while this other family is able to take their horrible dog home and go on with their lives like nothing happened.
Missing her so badly
Kimmid did you inform the police of the attack?

As you said this could happen again and if nothing more then needs to be investigated.
Maybe this family are local to the park and will return there after a discreet absence.

It's amazing how these people just disappeared as if nothing happened I can't even begin to understand how their minds work. rolleyes.gif
I'm sorry you've not had anyone come forward after such a horrible ordeal. sad.gif
