MY CAT KIKI PASSED AWAY ON JANUARY 27, 2006. SHE BATTLED BRAVELY AGAINST THE ORALE CANCER THAT TOOK HER LIFE. I HELD HER IN MY ARMS AND TOLD HER HOW MUCH I LOVED HER. I TOLD HER I KNOW YOU WANT TO STAY AND BE WITH ME, BUT YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART AND SOUL AND YOU CAN LET GO. WE WILL BE WITH EACH OTHER AGAIN. SHE WAS A GREAT GAL. BUT AFTER I TOLD HER THAT ABOUT 2 HOURS LATER SHE PASSED. THE NIGHT BEFORE SHE PASSED I SLEPT WITH HER THE NIGHT BEFORE ON MY CHES. SHE WAS SO GOOD, THAT THE NIGHT BEFORE SHE PASSED SHE COULD NOT STAND UP. SHE STARTED TO CRY. I HELD HER TOOK HER TO THE LITTER BOX AND HELD HER UP, AND SHE WENT TO THE BATHROOM. THAT IS HOW GOOD SHE WAS. I LOVED HER WITH ALL MY HEART. REST IN PEACE MY SWEET ANGEL. MOM

You are such an awesome Mom. You comforted her and told her it was okay to leave her body, and then she knew.

You WILL be together again, and in the meantime she's fine and her spirit is in bliss.

I am sorry for your loss. She was a brave little soul and she knew she was loved. You were good to her and she appreciated it. The love you feel for her will be with you always, even though it is so painful now.

It sounds like you had a wonderfully faithful, loving friend. My Lucy passed away on the 28th.
I just wonder why life has to be so hard. I've lost my grandfather, my first love, both godparents, a childhood friend, an uncle, several pets and others and Lucy's death is right up there on the grief scale. I'm only 23 years old and I just keep wondering why it has to keep happening.
But, heaven is there and heaven would not be heavenly without cats!
