Trying a pic of LeStat and Riley

Maybe not.....

Ah well...that's LeStat in my avatar...I'll have to figure the rest out later.

LeStat is lying on the bed (don't mind the ugly duvet cover, it's just there to collect cat hair biggrin.gif ) where he spends ALL of his time. He's a sad little guy these days but such a sweetheart!

Posting a pic is relatively easy...

First make sure your pic is somewhere on the web. Your ISP usually provides some personal area for just such purposes or making your own little website (check with your ISP for details)

At the top when your posting, their is a button with 'IMG'. click on that, then put in the web address and your pictures file name in the box. You can test your web address if you're not sure by opening another browser (internet explorer or what have you) and putting in the address that you plan on using and it should show up. Then click OK and the text required to make the picture work should be inserted into your post. Hope that helps.

Happy New Year to everyone... still lurking but not alot to say these days other than I have actually started looking at German Shepherd sites on the web. Ava's been gone over 4 months. sad.gif

Kristie,
I post my pictures the easy way. I use a print program to size and crop them then I save them on a disk and I use that browse button and choose the one I want and then hit the add reply and it's done. Now hurry with the pictures!!!!!

And my darling LeStat who never leaves his bed....the photo in my Avatar was taken on a different day. He always lies in the same spot.

Kristie your babies are just dolls and I am so glad you were able to post them. I wish they were a little bigger, these 51 year old eyes don't see as well as they used to. Now you can keep them coming as I love to look at them.

I was deathly afraid of fur kitties until my children started getting them when they moved out on their own. I would look at those slits in there eyes and think they could see into my soul and know all my thoughts. I kept a close eye on them as I didn't trust them. I worried they might pounce on me and rip me to shreds. I thought of them biting into my flesh and not letting go and all kinds of thoughts. I never turned my back for fear of an attack.

But once I got brave enought to touch them and then stroke them I found out they could be very loving. I always babysit all 4 of my childrens dogs but they day came that they asked me to keep their kitties while they ran to the store. So with fear running through my veins I thought oh Lord I might be attacked but ok I will try it. So in came a litter pan and food, toys and treats.

I must say I enjoyed them a lot and it didn't take long for me to love them as much as I do the dog fur babies. I almost always have some kitties over here now Clair and I keep them while they are at work too.

I'm not to crazy about Cinny digging my kitchen wall up though. I even bought a scratching post but he hates it. The rest of them are real good, well ok the kitten Miranda clawed my sheers and drapes to shreds climbing up them but she doesn't do that anymore.

My husband was so good about it all, I don't think he was to thrilled about having to constantly be putting the drapes back up, he said he was running out of places to make new holes when the screws were ripped out of the walls. He loves them all as much as I do though.
