A New Kitty

Why Some People React More Than Others

I am trying to understand how some people can just move on soon after a pet dies while another (like myself) struggles a LOT to cope with it. Are we more sensitive? less social ties? More connection to the animal? What do you think?

I Don't Like It That Pets Die

I really don't. I know it goes against every fundamental law of nature, circle of life etc but I just really don't like it. Animals that I love and care for shouldn't die. For no other reason than "I don't want them to"

I miss Twinks and you miss your animals as well. Screw the circle of life, i just want our pets back!!

If Your Cat Is Sick

Get him or her checked for FIV/FeLV. The test is only around 50 dollars and well worth it.
did you know that 23% of cats that are sick test positive for feline leukemia?

If your cat is showing signs of lethargy, behavior changes (ie hiding behind things when they are normally out and about), not eating, lack of grooming, or just sick looking, have this test done. It could spare the lives of your other cats if you have them or else increase the liklihood that treatment will be effective.
