Hi,
First, I'd like to thank you all so VERY much for your caring and kind responses!
You are all so sweet and wonderful people! I can't even begin to tell you all how grateful I am to you! I don't feel so alone anymore and it's actually helping me..
To KimR: Being in the business, you'd think it would be a little easier for us because we see it so much. But, it's just as devastating! You said "the pain of losing them is so worth the joy and love they bring" and I will remind myself of that forever!
You are absolutley right! Very well said! I'm so sorry about your little girl Sasha!
I bet she was the sweetest thing! After all she had a sweet owner! Thank You!
To KMOM: Wow, 7 1/2 years! I'm so very sorry! That is so painful! I will pray for you! Your kindness is so greatly appreciated! Thank you!
To Magdalene: I'm so sorry about both your kitties! You must be going through such pain! I will pray for you also! You were very kind and caring in your response to me and I thank you so very much! It was so badly needed!
To SMB: 10 months, still a baby! My God that must have been so difficult for you!
I'm so sorry that you had to go through that! My prayers go out to you!Thank you so much for the response! Take care!
To bellemocha99: I'm sorry about Mocha! I know the pain is still fresh with you. I will pray for you as well! Thanks for the picture frame idea, that sounds cool! I wish you peace and thank you for your wonderful support! I am truly grateful!
To Megsmom: I here your a Vet Tech too. Like I said to KimR, you would think it would be easier for us. I am truly sorry! It's just so unfair! My heart and my prayers go out to you! God bless you for your kind words to me! I'm grateful!
To Barbara:(5catsmom) Your right about some people thinking it doesn't equate to losing a person! I've always felt that it is just as devastating to lose a pet as it is to lose a person! I might get some flak from someone for saying that, but, that's always been my opinion! The pain is just as excruciating! I'm deeply sorry for your loss as well! My thanks and my prayers are with you!
To cleo1: I'm sorry about you 10 yr. old! That damn cancer is evil! That must have been so very painful for you. I will pray for strength for you! You lost 2 kitties as well. Your 22 yr. old must have brought you very many years of happiness and wonderful memories! Thank you for your sweet and kind thoughts!
Thank you ALL so much! You are all such wonderful, kind, caring, sweet, thoughtful people! I am truly grateful! God bless each and every one of you! Take care! Lisa

Hello. I'm glad I finally found a site like this! It took a while. Anyway, I've been reading up on a lot of your stories and I can't seem to find anything similar to my little boy's story. He's only 9 and is dying of cancer. He never showed any signs of sickness until
a week ago when he came into the livingroom where me and my husband were and he looked like he wasn't feeling good. (I work for a veterinarian,I'm an assistant by the way) So I brought him to work with me the next morning. We did tests and X-rays and he has a cancerous tumor on his spleen. It spread (the cancer) to his lungs and now he's on very limited time! So far, he seems to not be in pain but, he's more tired than usual. My husband and I are so very distraught and hurting from this, we can barely help each other! We are trying to get through each day the best we can. I came here in
hopes that it might help me to feel a little better by reading other peoples stories to remind myself that I'm not alone and there's other folks like us too! I keep seeing "he or she was 12, 13, 14, 15" but I'm not really finding anyone who has or had an animal who is or was younger. I know, it's probably me, I'm just not looking around well enough I guess! I'm sorry if I sound like an idiot! I'm lucky I sat here and typed this out in one sitting! I can't focus or think straight so please forgive me! Are there any out there who has had a death or sickness of a younger animal? If so, please post so I know I'm not alone! I'm sure I'm not, but I think I need to see or read about it to help myself to get through this! My deepest sympathy, my heart and soul go out to each and every one of you! I'll pray for all of you to help with your pain! Thank you!
