Snookie has not hardly eaten or drank anything in the last 4 days. She has hardly gone outside and all she has done is lay around. She wont bark she wont stay in bed with me and I hear her moaning. I have her sweater on and we are making the 80 mile one way trip. I pray that she will be coming home with me, that the vet can help her. I hope that her time is not today that maybe she just has the flu or something the vet can fix. Please pray for us, oh dear God how will I ever make it if my baby has to leave this world. I must go now.
Ann

--------------------

My girls went to the Rainbow Bridge 6 weeks and 3 days apart.
Snookie had cushing's disease, and later developed diabetes. Both had cancer, Snookie had cancer of the liver, and Chili Bean had cancer of the pallet. Chili Bean was our son's chihuahua but we kept her often throughout her life and she stayed with us for the last 9 months of her life. Chili Bean also had asthma and heart failure. We will see you in Heaven my precious darlings.

Dear Ann,

My heart is bleeding for you and Snookie. I hope she just has a bug but, if it should be the time please, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you both. I am truly, truly so very sorry for you. I wish you both the best and please let us know how everything is.

Ann,
My thoughts are with you and Snookie today......I pray that this is something that the vet can treat her for
but if it is not I will pray for you to have the strength to end Snookie's suffering and let her pass to a pain
free place at the Rainbow Bridge...it is never an easy decision I know, believe me I know, but she should
not have to suffer just to stay here on earth longer.
God Bless,
Karen

I really hope it's like it was with Falkor. He didn't eat or drink either, and he's ok again now.

I'll be thinking of you.

Dear Ann,

My thoughts and prayers are with you and Snookie. I hope that all goes well at the vet's today and that he can do something to help Snookie. If it is Snookie's time to journey to the Rainbow Bridge, know that we're all here for you.

Take care,
Kathleen

My little Snookie girl had to stay at the hospital, the vet said he thinks that she will live and hopes she will come around soon. He said she is a very strong willed girl, she is in pain but he said he did not believe it was time to put her to sleep.

I was so afraid to leave her for fear she would die and be without me. I went prepared to let her go if that's what the vet said needed to be done. I talked to her all the way there and told her I loved her so much that I would not let her suffer and I would do what was best for her because that would be her gift to her for loving me and being faithful all these years.

Dr. Tim said he knew it would be hard for me to leave her since it takes almost 2 hours to get there in case something went wrong. I just pray with the IV''S and medications she will recover. Bless you all.
Ann
Look how sick she looked this morning as I was taking her up to Jackson.

Ann, My dear dear sister of this earth, I feel like I am right there going through this with you...I have been dreading the time when you will have to take the next step. I am glad the vet said she should be okay. You know, every time you take that drive, you know that all of us at LS are riding in that car with you, hoping and praying, hugging you. We all will be standing with you when that dreaded day comes and we will feel your pain.
I bet that drive was a hard one, thoughts of the drive with Chile, I have a feeling she will feel much better having spent a couple days with doc ed, he can hydrate her little body and get some nutrition in her, it is a good thing, I feel like she will feel better when you bring her home. Love Pamela

Ann -

I'm so glad to know that the doctor doesn't think it's Snookie's time. I hope she gets better soon!!

Dear Ann, My thoughts are so much with you every step of the way as i read all that you and Snookie went through today. I cried to think of you on that long journey to the vets and not knowing what was going to happen when you got there.

Leaving Snookie with the vet must have been hard too, but it will be so worth it if he can get Snookie feeling a bit better again. Snookie must have been feeling so rotton and dehydrated. You know he is in good hands ... in the best possible hands.
Ann, I am thinking of you so much and sending a little prayer of love to Snookie, your dear and faithful companion through the years.

With love jilly

Dear Ann -

Just came home and note of this morning and I was afraid to page down for fear of seeing that you received bad news. SO HAPPY for you and beautiful Snookie that the vet is going to fix her up!! What a relief

Will keep you both in my thoughts.

Love,

Lynn

Dear Ann,

Glad that the vet had some hope for Snookie. She sounds like she is in good hands and I pray that she'll feel better in no time. That drive to the vet must have been terribly hard.

You're in my thoughts,
Susan

Hi Ann,

I haven't been on in a while...had a bad run there and I've been finding it really hard to post and to read everyone's stories for some reason. I just wanted you to know that I've been here and that I am SO happy to hear that today wasn't Snookie's time to go. I'll put in an extra prayer for her tonight (and for you also...)

Kristie
