Hi Everyone,
I took my fur grand baby Amber to the vet in Jackson and the minute he looked at her he said we will do blood test, an ultra sound and a liver biopsy but I can tell you right now she has liver failure. I asked him how he knew and he said she is yellow.

He showed me that her flesh on her ears were yellow, her eyes are yellow as well as her throat and gums. I can't believe no one in the whole family didn't see that she was yellow. We were all holding her and kissing her but it was as though we were blind.

He said she is badly dehydrated and had to give her fluids. She will be taking amoxi drops, lixotnic and we will be trying to give her Nutri-Cal since she has not eaten since the carpet cleaner solution poisoning. I guess this is the end result of something so tragic.

He said if she can not eat in 5 days or shows no improvement the only thing to do is to put her to sleep, the most they can go is 12 days without food. Our hearts are sad and broken from losing our fur grand baby Chili Bean and we are afraid that Amber might die plus the added burden of our poor Snookie girl being so sick. From now on I will not be ignorant of the danger to our babies.

My family and I are asking you to pray for Amber for a speedy recovery. She is only 7 and we want her around for a long time to come. I know a lot of people in this world would say it is silly to pray for an animal. I don't believe anyone here would say that because we all love and have loved our babies. I believe that God loves us and therefore He loves what we love. Thanks so much.

My girls went to the Rainbow Bridge 6 weeks and 3 days apart.
Snookie had cushing's disease, and later developed diabetes. Both had cancer, Snookie had cancer of the liver, and Chili Bean had cancer of the pallet. Chili Bean was our son's chihuahua but we kept her often throughout her life and she stayed with us for the last 9 months of her life. Chili Bean also had asthma and heart failure. We will see you in Heaven my precious darlings.

Hi Ann,

I sincerely hope everything turns out alright with Amber. You have been through so much already and it just doesn't seem fair. You are showing incredible strength and I'm certain that no matter how things turn out, you'll manage to make it through.

I hope and pray that Amber is back home, healthy and care free as soon as possible.

You're in my thoughts,
__Jim

Dearest Ann & Family:

I am sooooooooooooooo sorry to hear about sweet Amber's latest visit to your vet in Jackson!!! sad.gif

Dearest God..........Please, please help Ann & her lovely family wub.gif ........They have all been through TOO MUCH lately..... with the illness of their sweet furdog "Snookie Cookie", and the death of their grandbaby dog, "Chili Bean", and the poisoning of sweet kitty Amber wub.gif ; with a product to shampoo rugs....WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT????

Dear Ann..........My & my husband's Ben's thoughts are with you and your family.........We really are praying for you
guys!!!

Liver failure???? Is the Nutri-Cal working out, Ann???? I am sooooooooo angry at that stupid carpet cleaning solution!!!! Makes me sooo damn mad!!!!!

Not mad at you, Ann........No.......not at all......We don't know......we trust that products WILL BE OKAY!!! Perhaps that's my problem..........I TRUST EVERYTHING TOO DARN MUCH!!!!!

Of course...........this brings us back to that day "to deter Ms. Lucy from nibbling on cords, that our ex-"vet", told us to spray them with Right Guard Deodorant Spray.............. Also, spray her lil' face....just don't get it in her sweet, precious, Doe eyes"...........j
I should have known............"if I wouldn't want that spray under my arms....why would I want my sweet girl to potentially lick it?????"

Well, she was poisoned, alright!!! THAT JERK!!!!

From all that I've read here recently about Lysol & Neutra Air (which we had here in our home), has gone in the trash.

Please Ann............know that our prayers are with you and your family, especially prayers for our sweet Amber's
recovery........ She is absolutely beautiful.......
Looks to me like she's a "light-colored" version of our Ms. Lucy....(a light colored "tortoise-shell calico)?? wub.gif

God does love what we love, Ann..............and, God LOVES OUR FAMILY.... I know that's true!

If you need/want a friend to talk with......please PM/e-mail me, and give me your #..........I would be very happy
to give you a call, to talk.........someone to cry with......

God Bless you All...
Love, Denise xo

Ann,

I'm sending intense prayers your way!!!!!!!

I can just imagine how you have been doing. I can't believe this! It's too much.

God does love Amber. She's a child of His, just as each one of us is.

I read once in a book (it was Embraced By the Light) that sometimes we need to call upon "warring angels" when life deals us huge troubles. I will pray hard.

Love,

Kathy
