My Sweet Senorita Chili Bean Bubbles Howard Nov. 5, 1994 - Nov. 11, 2004

God knew you'd be mine at the time of your birth
for 10 years you dearly were loved while on this earth.
For now my little one from you I had to part
but forever and ever you will live in my heart.

I hold the memories close of kisses left behind
my sweet loving girl will remain forever in my mind.
You were always there to play or to sit in my lap
each day you were with me together we would nap.

You were my sons dog but still I think he knew
I considered myself Mama not just Grammy to you.
Chili Bean you were loving and faithful to the end
you were not just a dog you were my baby and my friend.

12 days with my son and 12 days with me you'd come at a run
I'd plant kisses on your face you made life so much fun.
Holding you as you took your last breath I found I was no coward
my darling you will never be forgotten by your Grammy Ann Howard.

My girls went to the Rainbow Bridge 6 weeks and 3 days apart.
Snookie had cushing's disease, and later developed diabetes. Both had cancer, Snookie had cancer of the liver, and Chili Bean had cancer of the pallet. Chili Bean was our son's chihuahua but we kept her often throughout her life and she stayed with us for the last 9 months of her life. Chili Bean also had asthma and heart failure. We will see you in Heaven my precious darlings.

Bueatiful, I found myself writing a poem for Moose yesterday....
IN A BOX IN MY ROOM, I LAID YOU TO REST;
I FEEL LIKE MY HEARTS BEEN RIPPED FROM MY CHEST'
NO MORE WILL I LOOK IN THOSE BUEATIFUL EYES,
I COULD'NT EVEN SAY OUR LAST GOODBYE
SO MANY TEARS I'VE CRIED FOR YOU''
SOMETIMES I DONT KNOW HOW TO MAKE IT THROUGH
I SCREAMED IN PAIN AFTER YOU WERE GONE
YOU HAVE BEEN IN MY LIFE FOR OH SO LONG

--------------------
Moose, you were a gift for my heart and my soul. I am so thankful to have had you. I love you forever My Mooser.1995-2004

Thanks so much for reading my poem and please know that in the next to last line I was not saying anyone who could not stay with their baby was a coward I just needed to use it in there to rhyme with my last name although I really was worried I might not find the strength to stay with her. But I am so glad I did, she deserved to have someone help her over to the bridge and to go with love guiding her every step of the way.
Ann
Pamela that is a wonderful poem keep writing things like that my friend it is healing and good for the soul. I have always written poems but so much more so after I lost my precious mother.

Thanks so much, I put the photo of Chili Bean and I on here because I wanted everyone to see how my eyes always lit up when she was with me. I am always worried about the way I write things. When I was in the 6th grade the teacher told my mother I had the strangest way of wording things and from that day on I have always worried about how people would perceive how I talk and word things. It is nice to hear you all say I have a gift with words. Thanks, Ann

Dear Ann:

You wrote such a beautiful, precious poem about, "Your Sweet Senorita Chili Bean Bubbles Howard"..

Just to let you know......PERSONALLY, I FEEL THAT YOU WRITE PERFECTLY..... AND, THAT YOU ALSO GET YOUR THOUGHTS ACROSS JUST RIGHT.....

Isn't it strange???.....(really, really strange)............how "teachers", (actually, anyone in AUTHORITY when we were just young kids....)
from 'way back when', (in your particular case - 6th grade)..
can "shape the way the way we think of things .....IN THE FUTURE"????

There are things that do bother me.............but this is "one area" that really GETS TO ME!!!!!

Your quote.........
QUOTE
When I was in the 6th grade the teacher told my mother I had the strangest way of wording
things and from that day on I have always worried about how people would perceive how I talk and word things.

To me...........it's just very, very sad to see "HOW PEOPLE IN AUTHORITY can make us feel like when we are older.......

Ann, I feel that you write just fine, and you DO get all of your thoughts across perfectly.........

Please, keep writing just the way you have been, my friend......with "no thoughts back to that 6th grade teacher"...

God Bless you..........Love, Denise xo
