For the 13 years and 7 days you were part of our family, from the time I could hold you in my cupped hands, to the time when you made it clear that it was time to go...
For the way you always knew where to find the perfect patch of sunshine...
For the times you sneaked up onto the table to lick up some leftover butter...
For the way you treated your little sister, not with enthusiasm, but at least with acceptance...
For the sense you had not to run outside and put yourself at risk of hawks and coyotes when we lived in New Mexico...
For the way you asserted the fact that you were still the boss, even with no front claws and outweighed by 5 pounds...
For the fact that although you were sick for months, your pain was short-lived, and that you made it so clear that your time with us was over...
For the chance I had to love you and learn to be loved...

I give thanks.

I love you Misty cat.

I just wanted to say what a beautiful baby Misty was and how although you had 13 years and 7 days I know it is never enough. Your loves shows and I am so sorry you lost your darling girl Misty.

My girls went to the Rainbow Bridge 6 weeks and 3 days apart.
Snookie had cushing's disease, and later developed diabetes. Both had cancer, Snookie had cancer of the liver, and Chili Bean had cancer of the pallet. Chili Bean was our son's chihuahua but we kept her often throughout her life and she stayed with us for the last 9 months of her life. Chili Bean also had asthma and heart failure. We will see you in Heaven my precious darlings.

Thanks Ann. It was hard cooking Thanksgiving dinner without her keeping me company in the kitchen.

Hi JT,

For over thirteen years Misty was a huge part of your life and I know you miss her very much. It's difficult to adjust to living a life without our pets, but we do learn to live with it. Thanks for sharing the memories. She was a beautiful cat---you can just see the love in her eyes and it's easy to tell she knew how much she was loved. The two of you were very blessed to have had each other.

Dear JT,

Misty was such a pretty girl. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Your Thanksgiving tribute to her is beautiful.
