I just don't know where all the years have gone since my little girl was a baby. Snookie still seems like a tiny baby to me and yet she is almost 11, she will be on Feb. 4 if she is still with me. I thought she was a doll then and I still think she is a doll. Her eyes have always been so filled with love and she has been a bit spoiled but that's why I got her in the first place.

Snookies one bad habit is barking like crazy when we get ready to leave the house. Snookie sure makes it known that she wants to go with me whenever I leave, she gives me a look that breaks my heart if she can't go. When she was so sick she could not hold her head up I thought how horrible it would be to never hear her bark again. The explorer always feels so empty on the few times she could not go.

She never chewed anything and she was house broken in 2 weeks, always loving and always sweet. She is older than all but 1 of my grandchildren and she loves them all. Snookie is, always has been, and always will be the love of my life.

We are missing little our grand baby Chili Bean and Amber is still so sick. I will have to take her on the 80 mile trip to Jackson to see the vet up there. I am not happy with the one I had to take her to when she got sick from the carpet cleaning solution. I just wanted you to see the pic of Snookie as a baby.
Ann
I forgot to say she was not quite 4 weeks old in the photo! Just look at those enchanting eyes and to this day they still are and they are so filled with love.

My girls went to the Rainbow Bridge 6 weeks and 3 days apart.
Snookie had cushing's disease, and later developed diabetes. Both had cancer, Snookie had cancer of the liver, and Chili Bean had cancer of the pallet. Chili Bean was our son's chihuahua but we kept her often throughout her life and she stayed with us for the last 9 months of her life. Chili Bean also had asthma and heart failure. We will see you in Heaven my precious darlings.

Hi Ann,

Your little Snookie, what a beauty she was as a pup and she grew up to be even more of a beauty. She is so special to you...I know you love her very much. Thanks for sharing the photos and the wonderful memories.

Thinking of you,
__Jim

Thanks Jim,
Yes Snookie is so very special to me and I used to think I would surely lose my mind when she has to leave this world. But after having read so many post and talked with so many people who dearly loved their babies I can see that somehow I too might be able to find the strength to go on. It was so hard when I lost little Chili Bean and I loved her dearly but Snookie is my heartbeat.

Hi Ann:

What a SWEETHEART wub.gif Snookie Cookie is!!!!!!!!!

I know "that look" sad.gif , when you have to leave your precious kid(s) at home, to go run errands, etc........

We have sweet furcats, so, the only time that Lucy and Yoster go for rides is to their vet........but, I know that "that particular look of 'Come on mommy...please, can't we go along??""

But, IT'S ALWAYS FUN COMING HOME BECAUSE (in "kitty talk/language"), after parking the car, and when we get close to our living room window.....I'll yell out their names............and, within seconds.....At least Ms. Lucy is up on the perch TO GREET US HOME...
And, that ALWAYS MELTS MY HEART!!!!!! wub.gif

(Of course, she's always hoping that she'll hear "a crinkling noise", which "VERY WELL" just might indicate to her that "we might have gone to the market to get her some DELICIOUS FANCY FEAST!!!! biggrin.gif

I'm so happy that darling Snookie LOVES YOUR "HUMAN" wub.gif grandkids........and, that they all get along!!! wub.gif

And, what a well behaved girl you have!!!!!!..........house broken AT TWO WEEKS, AND 'NO CHEWING!!!??

Absolutely FANTASTIC!!!!

II know that you miss your Sweet Chili Bean, Ann.......& I can still feel your pain!! sad.gif !!!!!

It still is QUITE RECENT, AND OF COURSE, IT'S EXTREMELY UNDERSTANDABLE THAT YOUR HEART STILL HURTS QUITE A BIT!!!!
I know that I speak for others here, as well..... "We are all grieving with you, my friend."

I remember, (like it was yesterday), that awful chest pain that felt someone was taking a serrated knife and shoving it in and out!!!!

Not to mention, your poor sweet Amber!!!! WILL she have any lasting effects from wat she went though??
You REALLY HAVE HAD YOUR SHARE, ANN.....

I know that "you know", but......ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT YOU HAVE MADE SOME LIFE LONG FRIENDS HERE AT LS, and we are always willing to help in any way that we can .......?????

I just love all the photos that you posted...........such an adorable, precious & sweet little girl!!!!!!

Every single animal baby; they're JUST SOOOOOOOOOO PRECIOUS---and, such a GIFT TO US!!! We are the
LUCKY ONES.......

To be "IN THEIR LIVES"...

Goodnight and God Bless you & yours,

Love, Denise
