Whenever I travel (on an airplane), I take Bicky's favorite rubber Ducky with me; it provides me with great comfort. When my friends or family ask me "what's up with the duck?", and I tell them, they

Thank you so much for complimenting Gizy's pictures. I have so many good ones of him, he is so photogenic.
I brought his little blue collar with me and every time I looked inside my purse I saw it there and it felt like my sweet boy was with me.

I found this poem today for you Gizy...

To my dearest family,
some things I'd like to say.
But first of all, to let you know,
that I arrived okay.

I'm writing this from the Bridge.
Here I dwell with God above.
Here there's no more tears of sadness.
Here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy
just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I am with you
every morning, noon and night.

That day I had to leave you
when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me,
and He said, "I welcome you.

It's good to have you back again;
you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family,
They'll be here later on."

God gave me a list of things,
that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list,
was to watch and care for you.

And when you lie in bed at night,
the day's chores put to flight,
God and I are closest to you . . .
in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth,
and all those loving years,
because you are only human,
they are bound to bring you tears.

Today is a month and 6 days since my baby boy was taken away from me... it's very hard to go on without him... I only hope we will be reunited one day.

Honestly, we all know that not every one understands how painful and heartbreaking it can be to lose your furry baby. I am thankful that I found this web site... it definitely helps to know that some one cares just as mush as I do.

Mommy woke up so early today, 5 am!
I guess the time change really affected me.
I actually like to wake up early, I get to do so much!

I miss you little boy.
Remember I told you about Fanya - the cat that lived with my parents? You never met him because they live so far away. He is on the rainbow too. Look for him, he was my really good friend. I was 12 years old when I brought him in. My parents didn't want to keep him and told me to find a new family for him. He was a tiny little fur ball, he was so small he could fit on my hand. He was beautiful, white, black and light brownish color. His eyes were so large and bright! It took about a week for my parents to accept him as our newest family member and he lived a happy long life of 18 years.
He was my childhood kitty, you were my adulthood doggie. I love you both so please find him and stick together like the family is suppose to.
I love you baby boy, tell Fanya I love him too.
I am attaching his picture I took when I went to visit my parents last year, shortly after that he was gone. I remember I could feel that I would never see him again, I took his picture and spent some time telling him how much I loved him, how great of a kitty he was... He was not very social, I guess he wasn't feeling too good and he just wanted to stay alone in his room... but he listened to me and let me kiss him. Thank you Fanya for being such a good family member. You were the King of my parents house.
Gizy, thank you sweetie for being the King of my house. I miss you so much every day! I will never stop loving you.

Dogs In Heaven?

An old man and his dog were walking down this dirt road with fences on both sides, they came to a gate in the fence and looked in, it was nice grassy, woody areas, just what a 'huntin' dog and man would like, but, it had a sign saying 'no trespassing' so they walked on. They came to a beautiful gate with a person in white robes standing there. "Welcome to Heaven" he said. The old man was happy and started in with his dog following him. The gatekeeper stopped him. "Dogs aren't allowed, I'm sorry but he can't come with you."

"What kind of Heaven won't allow dogs? If he can't come in, then I will stay out with him. He's been my faithful companion all his life, I can't desert him now."

"Suit yourself, but I have to warn you, the Devil's on this road and he'll try to sweet talk you into his area, he'll promise you anything, but the dog can't go there either. If you won't leave the dog, you'll spend Eternity on this road."

So the old man and dog went on. They came to a rundown fence with a gap in it, no gate, just a hole. Another old man was inside. "S'cuse me Sir, my dog and I are getting mighty tired, mind if we come in and sit in the shade for awhile?"

"Of course, there's some cold water under that tree over there. Make yourselves comfortable"

"You're sure my dog can come in? The man down the road said dogs weren't allowed anywhere."

"Would you come in if you had to leave the dog?"

"No sir, that's why I didn't go to Heaven, he said the dog couldn't come in.
We'll be spending Eternity on this road, and a glass of cold water and some shade would be mighty fine right about now. But, I won't come in if my buddy here can't come too, and that's final."

The man smiled a big smile and said "Welcome to Heaven."

"You mean this is Heaven? Dogs ARE allowed? How come that fellow down the road said they weren't?"

"That was the Devil and he gets all the people who are willing to give up a life long companion for a comfortable place to stay. They soon find out their mistake, but then it's too late. The dogs come here, the fickle people stay there. GOD wouldn't allow dogs to be banned from Heaven. After all, HE created them to be man's companions in life, why would he separate them in death?"

I know you saw me crying today, I am sorry. I just feel so lonely. You know my family is so far away and now you are far away too. I want to hug you, hold you, kiss your wet nose and look you in the eye. Baby boy, I miss you so much. Forgive me for crying so hard. Today is just one of those days when I can't control myself, the pain of you not being around is too strong... my heart is breaking. But I will stop crying, I promise. I want you to see mommy smile.
