Hello moon_beam and Noah, LoveMyMickey and Tom's Dad (and T&T)! Apologies for not getting back to you sooner, thankyou all so much for your kind comments - Mr Pursz is probably the most photographed cat I've known! He sees the camera now and gets this "not again" look (he's making that face in the second photo!). It rained yesterday so we had to stay inside, consequently he wanted to go out about 5 minutes after i woke up this morning! I had to go and register him with the local council this morning so he had to wait a little longer til I came back from there - then had about 5 hrs of playing outside (he's sleeping now!) I got nothing much done around the house but I needed the playtime as much as he did I think! It's monday evening here, so back to work tomorrow, sigh...moon_beam, I'm working on that lottery for us, bought a ticket today - I am so sorry you have the worry of these possible tax law changes, it must be an unsettling prospect, I'm hoping hard for some peace for you and Noah (and some comfortable weather!)...please forgive me if i don't manage to post during the week, this job is still taking some adjusting to - but please know I think of you all and chat to Purszi about his friends across the oceans, please accept our biggest hugs and purrs and Auntie leejaye snuggles (thanks for ours, they mean a lot!) and a wish for the easiest and gentlest of weeks, take care my friends, leejaye

Hi, leejaye and Purszival, thank you so much for your most welcome news. I can so o o relate to your adjustment to your new job. We are ALWAYS glad to hear from you and your precious Purszival whenever possible.
One thing about housework - - it will always be there. One of the lessons our furkids give to us is to PLAY as much as possible. So - - you dust while your little boy is taking a nap - - or - - you take a nap with your little boy (the latter would be my first choice). I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you for the lottery, my friend. It would be so o o nice if you won so that you didn't HAVE to work, and you could set up a fund for helping the needy furkids in your country. I would be so o oo happy for you and your precious Purszival, my friend. I hope your week in the trenches goes well for you, my friend. I hope you and your precious Purszival will have a very peaceful and blissful evening, and a healthy and happy week. I know he's always by your side listening intently to how your work day goes and offers you comfort and encouragement in all you do. Thank you for the blessing of your friendship, leejaye, and of your precious Purszival. Noah sends his purrs and rubs to his auntie leejaye and Purszival, as I send hugs to you both as well, and share Purszivals purrs and auntie leejaye hugs with my precious Noah. Please know you both are in my thoughts and prayers, and always look forward to sharing your news whenever possible. Dear moon_beam and Noah, I completely agree - housework can wait, the moments with our furkids are one off gifts - who could say no??! Well, I didn't win the lottery ($37 m. Aus!) - at the risk of sounding sappy, it doesn't matter for myself (only for the creatures I could help with some money, sigh...) I win every night coming home to Pursz, every morning, waking up with him, and all the hours in between when we get them ...it's about 10 pm at night here and he is on for a game, leaping out, tearing over the lounge with the occassional little squeaky meow to really get my attention!...well 4 days to go in my week, should be a normal roster (last week i had a couple of 10 hr shifts in a row with only 9hrs between them, and I think I only slept about 5 of those hours - hence my absence!), fingers crossed! I hope your work goes as easily as possible - I have photos of Purszival on my phone, they are an excellent aid to my day when I get over people...hug and purr swaps all round, and thankyou again for your friendship - hears to a peaceful and kind week for you my friends, Leejaye

Greetings to you and your precious Purszival from Noah and me. I hope this finds you both doing well and in good spirits. You are so o o o right about being a winner with your precious Purszival to share your days, evenings, and everything in between. You and your precious Purszival are building memories that no amount of money can buy or compensate. Someday you may be able to help someone in need - - on a one-to-one situation - - which will make it a more personal gift to you and the one you're helping.
I hope your week will be a decent one for you and your precious Purszival, my friend. Hope the weather is good garden time weather. Thank you for the blessing of your and your precious Purszival's friendship. Noah sends his purrs and rubs to his auntie leejaye and Purszival, as I send my hugs to you both as well, and share each of your greetings with my precious Noah. Please know you and your precious little boy are in my thoughts and prayers, leejaye, and always look forward to sharing your news whenever possible. Dear moon_beam and Noah, Sorry for our long absence - I hope you could feel the hugs we sent you even though we weren't online to tell you! Work is gearing up for the hectic Christmas weeks, I'm hoping to get some time off in February, sigh...The first day of summer here last week and it has rained ever since. Purszival is desperate to go outside but it is just too wet for him, we are having to make do with the indoors racing circuit - he has three different racing paths he takes through different rooms and over various bits of furniture - they all finish with a dash through his tunnel, I don't think I will be able to put that tunnel away for some time, I put it away yesterday to do some housework and his little face just said awww mum, I was gonna play in that - so I put it back!! Thinking of you both and sending our best Auntie Leejaye snuggles for Noah, a huge hug for you and Purszival's best loudest purrs for both of you - I hope life is being kind to you both, Leejaye

Hi, leejaye, it's always a blessing logging in to get caught up on your and your precious Purszival's news. Noah and I send our greetings to you both. Sounds like you are busy with your job - - I hope all is well with what you are doing.
It sounds like your precious Purszival really likes his tunnel -- and has a wonderful mum who understands this. I'm smiling at his exercise routine - - my number one kitty son Eli and Noah would chase each other upstaris, downstairs, over furniture, under furniture, on top of furniture and would collapse on the floor long enough to catch their breath and then they'd be off again. Noah has had a HUGE adjustment in his life since his big kitty brother joined the angels December 11, 2006. Tomorrow is my interview for another job, and I am hoping and praying with everything in me that somehow I will stand out above the crowd and will be offered the job. I am somewhat desperate now to get out of the venomous snake pit I'm in - - and have been in for 11 years. So please keep me in your thoughts and prayers if possible. I thank you, leejaye, for the blessing of your friendship and of your precious Purszival. Thank you for the gifts of your and your precious Purszival's hugs and purrs. Noah and I send you and your precious Purszival our purrs and hugs as well. Please know you both are in my thoughts and prayers, my friend, and that I always look forward to sharing your and your precious Purszival's news whenever possible. Peace and blessings, moon_beam -------------------- In heaven's perfect garden there is no grief or pain, and all of God's creation join the angels' sweet refrain.

Dear moon_beam and Noah, I am thinking of you both very much and wishing so hard for you to be successful with your interview moon_beam. Pursival and I already had toes, tail and fingers crossed for Tom's Dad - we're double crossing them right now for you...I know how burdensome a toxic workplace can become, I so very much hope this changes for you after your interview!! It's still raining here and Purszi is pretty much stuck inside - although he did let me take him outside in my arms, sitting quite calmly, sniffing all the rain smells, i really love those moments...I can just picture your boys and their speedway, I'm so sorry they didn't have longer...sending hugs, purrs and Auntie snuggles and heaps of good energy for that interview, thankyou so much for your friendship and the hugs and purrs you sent our way,we really value them, Leejaye PS I will have to get some more pics of Pursz, he seems to be growing a little bit every day at the moment - he has a cat bed mum bought him when he first came home, he was so tiny in there, he almost fills it up now!

Hi, leejaye and Purszival, it is always a blessing logging in to share your news. Noah and I send our warmest greetings to you both.
Thank you so much for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers and purrs for the interview today. Sadly it did not go well at all. It was in front of a panel - - NOT with the person who called me to arrange the interview. I was supposed to receive a letter confirming the interview and the location where the interview would be held, but as of today's mail delivery I have yet to receive it. I called the person yesterday who contacted me for the interview to find out where I was supposed to go and never got a call back. So - - I went to the place where the resume was mailed - - wrong place. Instructed that I needed to go to another location - - but was never given specific directions - - got lost - - had to call the main number in route to get specific directions -- ended up being 10 minutes late. And the interview itself was painful. It's a new position so the people who were doing the interviewing today didn't have a clue about what the position was about - - they were only weeding out the "undesirables." A second level interview is suposed to be sheduled in the next couple of weeks - - guess I can kiss THAT opportunity good-bye. So - - it looks like I'm still stuck in the venomous snake pit where I work now for awhile longer. This is aggravating, frustrating, and a tad bit depressing. The BEST news of the day is that I am home now with my precious Noah, and that there are only two more days left in this week to be in the venomous snake pit. I will so o o oo look forward to your new pictures of your precious Purszival. They do grow quickly - - I can so understand how it is looking at pictures of your precious little boy when he was just a baby and how small he looked in his bed - - and now how small the bed looks when he's laying on it. And of course there all the amazing and wonderful memories you and your precious Purszival have gathered together in your earthly journey so far. I am looking forward to your pictures. I hope today is being kind to you. It is soggy and rainy here - - damp - - and temperatures are to begin falling so that tomorrow we will only be in the 40 something temperature range for highs. It is December after all. I thank you so very much for the blessing of your and your precious Purszival's friendship, leejaye. Thank you for the blessing of your wonderful auntie leejaye and your precious Purzival's hugs and purrs for my Noah and me. Noah and I send you both our purrs and auntie moon_beam hugs. Please know you both are in my thoughts and prayers, my friend, and that I always look forward to sharing your news. Peace and blessings, moon_beam -------------------- In heaven's perfect garden there is no grief or pain, and all of God's creation join the angels' sweet refrain.

My dear moon_beam and Noah, I am so very sorry that the interview process left you with that bad taste in your mouth - I really feel that I can relate, everything that my potential (now current) employer could stuff up they did, places, times, losing my paperwork, making me reapply online, they did it all, so i am still holding fast to the hope that your interviewers see what potentially they have with you, we still have fingers, toes and tail crossed here across the oceans...thinking and praying so much for you...think I'll take my camera and see if I can get that pic of my constantly growing boy snuggling into his hitherto small bed!! Please take care my friends, and know that I am thinking of you and sending the best vibes for that job, thanks so very much for our purrs, hugs and snuggles, sending them back to you twofold and more, Leejaye and Purszival

Hi, leejaye, it is always a blessing logging in to share your and your precious Purszival's news. Thank you for the blessing of your and your precious Purszival's friendship, leejaye. And I thank you and your precious Purszival for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers and purrs for positive alternative employment.
I am so sorry that your current employer put you through such a nightmare with the application process. I know you have had quite an adjustment to being employed by a company - - as opposed to the freedom, and financial challenges -- of self-employment. I hope you and your precious Purszival are continuing to make progress in this new routine in your lives. I hope today is treating you and your precious little boy kindly, and that you both will have a very peaceful and blissful evening. Again, I thank you and your precious Purszival for your most welcome auntie leejaye hugs and purrs as Noah and I send you both our purrs and auntie moon_beam hugs as well. Please know you both are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to sharing your and your precious Purszival's news. Dear moon_beam and Noah, I hope you had a lovely weekend together - Purszi and I had to spend our weekend inside, there was about 2 hours total sunshine for the whole weekend, rain for the rest (actually it hasn't stopped raining since the first day of summer)...I looked in his tunnel yesterday and I think it has become his secret stash place - he had a Christmas ornament he had taken from the loungeroom, a red bow, 2 pieces of string, his favourite scrunched up paper ball and a toy mouse, all in the tunnel! He has obviously been busy decorating for Christmas! Well, back on the work treadmill today, I can only hope it goes speedily - have you heard anymore about your job interview? I read about your current workplace in Tom's Dad's thread - I am so sorry you have to put up with the rubbish they dish out, I am so hoping something changes for the positive for you...In the meantime we have our boys and our Angel kids to remind us about what is really important, thank heavens! Please know I am thinking of you here across the seas and am so very grateful for your friendship, thanks so much for the purrs and snuggles, Purszi and I send some right back to you! I hope the universe is kind to you both today, Leejaye and Purszi PS I didn't get a pic of Pursz in his bed, he looked so sleepy and peaceful that i didn't want to disturb him with the camera!

Hi, leejaye and Purszival, greetings to you from my precious Noah and me. It is always a blessing logging in to share your news. I am so o o o chuckling about your Purszival's stash in his tunnel - - decorating for the holidays!! How precious. Two of my beloved companions were kleptos during their earthly journey and would hide their loot under the sofa or a chair - - anywhere they could get to it but I couldn't - - unless I moved the furniture. And THEN I would find all kinds of things - - screwdrivers, socks, - - whatever they could get ahold of.
No news about the job with the social service department, and I'm not holding my breath either. I thank you, Tracy, Cheryl, and everyone who are offering me support in this difficult situation. It truly does mean a lot to me. I truly do need to get out of that toxic situation, and thank you for your thoughts and prayers. And yes, you are so RIGHT about having our boys and angel furkids to keep us focused on what is really important. My Noah is doing well, for which I am very grateful. I am home with him now for the evening - - he is my joy, as I know your precious Purszival is yours. I can SO RELATE to you're not wanting to disturb your little boy by taking a picture of him. I look forward to sharing pictures your precious Purszival whenever possible. I thank you, leejaye and Purszival, for the blessing of your friendship, - - and your auntie leejaye hugs and purrs for my precious Noah and me. My little boy and I send our Noah and auntie moon_beam purrs and hugs to you both across the great pond. I hope today, and every day, is treating you and your little boy kindly, leejaye. Please know you and your precious Purszival are in my thoughts and prayers, my friends, and that I always look forward to sharing your news. Dear moon_beam and Noah, Sorry for our long absence - I work in retail, so it was crazy time at work the last week before Christmas, plus sales were down so they chopped the roster down to nothing (I think so the mangers could get their bonus, I've worked retail before (but in much smaller places) and have never seen this happen - it makes no sense, sales are down so we'll take away salespeople...) blah...back to what's really important - I hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas sharing the true blessing and meaning of this season. Purszi and Greg and I went to my mum's house to share the day with my 2 brothers (one furry - Bandit, one not - Martyn) and counted our blessings for another year...Purszi seemed a little puzzled by his first Christmas - present wrapping had him fascinated - "But what are you doing mum??? What's this stuff all over the floor??", there were attacks on the roll of paper and wrapped presents alike, the Christmas food smells also intrigued him! I'm giggling again at your "klepto companions", it seems to be a trait Purszi shares, I found more things hidden under the bed!! I hope you are enjoying some time off with Noah and recharging the batteries - any news on the work front? I'm hoping and praying it's good...thankyou so very much for your friendship and hugs, sending the hugest Auntie Leejaye snuggles to that Noah and my biggest hugs to you, Purszi has some very loud purrs he sends, hope I'm back here soon, things should settle down now, until then, I hope the universe sends you sunshine, Leejaye PS I've attached some pics from Purszi's Christmas, hope you like them!

Hi, leejaye and Purszival, it is always a blessing logging in to share your news. Thank you so much for the wonderful pictures of your precious little boy and Bandit. Mr. Purszival is so handsome in his bowtie!!! Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful pictures with us.
Christmas was low key here - - which is what I prefer. Spent some of Christmas Eve with my brother and his family who live about 45 minutes away. Employers never make sense to me anymore. If I'm understanding correctly what you shared your hours were cut back? In the office where I work it's called "low census" for the clinical staff when patient referrals are down. Moving along - - Nothing new on the job hunt front. I know I cannot stay where I am. I am focusing on getting my financials in order so that I can leave my current job by September next year - - with or without alternative employment. I am in the process of paying off the loan that I took out 15 years ago to finish off the basement living quarters. When I get that paid off I will be able to meet my monthly expenses without a paycheck as I do receive a monthly stipend from the settlement of the automobile collision 26 years ago. If I am really careful Noah and I will be okay. I just have one more day this week in the pit and then I will be off Friday through Sunday on a long weekend with my little Noah. I am so looking forward to this. I am so glad you and your precious Purszival had a merry Christmas with your family, and hope that the coming year will bring you and your precious little boy much good health, happiness, and prosperity. I thank you and your precious Purszival for your cherished friendship. Noah sends his purrs and rubs to his auntie leejaye and Purszival, as I send my auntie moon_beam hugs to you and Purszival, too. Please know you and your precious little boy are in my thoughts and prayers, leejaye, and that I always look forward to sharing your news. Dear moon_beam and Noah, Another day at work - so another wonderful homecoming to my Purszival! He makes so much more sense than most of the people I see all day! We had some garden time this afternoon, played some hide and seek and had some great chasing! I'm so glad you liked his pictures, I have to be honest, that cute bow tie only stayed on for about 15 minutes - the look on his face in his picture with bandit sums it up!! I'm still hoping and praying for your work situation to change, it's bad enough that we actually have to go to work (although i can accept that!), without it being soul destroying as well - I'm so very glad you and Noah have some extended recharge time this week. On the work thing - they made me take 2 days of my time in lieue, on the other days I had to work 5 times as hard to make up for the people who weren't there (cos there is still the expectation that everything will happen the way it would with a full roster)...sigh...I now only have one day off out of the next nine...double sigh...thankyou so much for our purrs, snuggles and hugs - we appreciate them so much and send some right back to you, thinking of you my friends and hoping life is kind today, Leejaye

Dear moon_beam and Noah and LoveMyMickey, Thankyou so much for your continuing support and friendship, it means so very much. Poor Mr Purszival hasn't seen very much of me in the first week of the new year, so we are making every second we do have count - his favourite thing at the moment is sitting on my lap on the back steps late at night, he just leans back into me and sniffs the night smells, perfectly content, it's my favourite thing too, a perfect antidote to the work world...moon_beam, any resolution on the work front? I'm still hoping and praying for you...I hope you got a reasonable break over Christmas and new year to just hang out with Noah and recharge the batteries...LoveMyMickey I saw the pictures of Blackie in Tom's Dad's thread, lovely! I hope he learns to trust you more as time passes...sending my biggest hugs and Auntie Leejaye snuggles for Noah, Purszi purrs his thanks for all the lovely pats he has been sent, please know I think of all of you even if I can't get on here to tell you, hope the universe is kind today, Leejaye PS I'll try to get back with some pics of my growing boy in the next few days!!
