This is Blar. He died of complications due to heartworm treatment yesterday.my fiancee and I watched him die tied to an IV, Ice on his body and convulsing due to a fever of 107. It was so horrible. He had the most amazing and gentle heart in the whole world and brought so much joy to everyone who met him. We love you fatty ding dongs. mommy and daddy miss you so much!

Blar Blar is so beautiful, Noriko. I am so sorry that he had to leave you in such a distressing way, but take heart in the fact that you were with him. He would feel your loving presence, and that would have meant the world to him.

Please know that I am thinking of you and your fiance, and your precious Angel Blar Blar at this very sad time.

Losing a beloved companion is never easy regardless of the circumstances or how long we have been blessed with privilege of their physical presence with us. As Jan, LoveMyMickey, Cheryl, and Lizzie have already shared with you, your precious Blar is now healed and restored to his former youthfulness in the company of the angels -- no more suffering. And his sweet Living Spirit is now free of all pain and suffering so that he can be with you once again softly remembering with you all of the treasured memories you cherish through your earthly journey together. The love bond you and Blar share is eternal, Noriko - - it is not bound by the physical laws of time and space - - nothing and no one can ever take this away from you, Noriko.

But I know right now there are no adequate words in any language that can take away the deep seering pain in your heart. The only thing I can offer you, Noriko, is my sincerest friendship in the hope that somehow, some way, you will be able to find comfort in knowing you are not alone in you grief adjustment journey. Each of us here do understand what you are going through, and we are here for you for as long and as often as you need us.

Noriko, thank you so much for honoring us by sharing your precious Blar with us. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers, and look forward to knowing how you're doing.

I am SO sorry about the passing of beautiful Blar Blar. What a wonderful dog!! And what a wonderful YOU for reaching far beyond what is humanly possible to give your Blar Blar the hardest and most unselfish gift a person is ever called upon to give - setting your soul-mate free and, in the process, buying the most excruciating suffering there is. Blar Blar's was comforted by your presence, your arms around him, your words of love, even your tears. Blar is LOVED and so are YOU! This site seems to be full of wonderful people who, like you, have been found by their one and only spirit-animal - YOU, of all the billions of people in the world - and experienced the deepest love there is, that of soul-to-soul, spirit-to-spirit. Welcome to our family, Noriko. Together we're strong even though each one of us may be broken in heart. We're here for you and we understand that grief like ours takes a long time to ease and that we feel, say and do some things that look crazy to those who have never had this experience. Thank you for sharing the pictures of beautiful Blar Blar.

Noriko I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your precious boy Blar. My thoughts are with you and your fiancee at this difficult time. The first days are SO hard. I lost my beloved jack russell of 16 1/2 years 3 weeks ago and I'm still grieving my precious Abby. But I can promise you that this site has been extremely helpful in the healing process. The people here are amazing.

Thanks for the pics of Blar. The minute I saw that first pic, I thought "Gosh, how very happy that doggie looks being hugged by his mom!" I swear he looks like he's smiling- And he is beautiful or should I say, handsome-

Just a note to let you know I'm thinking about you and your wonderful Blar Blar. I hope you don't mind ... I have a new dog - a gentle giant (black lab and newfie) and I thought of your Blar Blar when I gave him his nickname "Bear Bear" (his real name is Rufus). Please let us know how you are doing. We're with you and we care - cuz we all know what it's like - each in our different ways.
