Oh Dottie that's exactly how Ulriich used to rub his head on us, you really do know him in spirit don't you?

Sonya, I wrote a reply to one of your comments that I can't now find, I'm losing it!! Or I could blame the computer......

Thanks Mad, Sonya and friends

Yes that was so heartbreaking with the darling kitties. The breeder brought them to their home for them and by the time I got there she had left. Maxi and Becci and Cam were obviously already besotted with the darling babies. You couldn't help it. They were absolutely adorable, and looked so vulnerable, bless them. They had visited the breeders home and thought all was fine as she so clearly loved her kitties, however Becci chose a little black and white one at that visit, only to be told a few days after the visit that sadly he had not survived, she'd already got a name ready for him, for when they brought them home, Figaro. So that was so sad too and really we should have heard warning bells ringing. She'd also chosen, Charlie for Maxi, and Gucci for Cams sister. Bailey replaced little lost Figaro.
I just hoped that maybe they all just needed lots of love and good food and TLC and they would all bounce back to health. The only one that seemed in good health(and thankfully still is) , was Gucci.
Unfortunately and so very sadly that wasn't the case. We often wonder if dear Bailey is still alive. I e-mailed her(the breeder) again last week, but still no reply.
Thankyou for you concern and love.
Thinking of you all
Love Jan xx

Thanks for thinking of me girls, I had an OK Christmas day but feel a bit flat today. My son has just packed Ulriich's baby teeth that he had collected and kept from when he lost them as a kitten and he is taking them back interstate with him. He was going to take Ulriich's feed bucket with him, but decided to leave it because Zelda still eats out of it. He doesn't say too much, but I feel sad for him because I know that cat was a big part of his life. he just adored him. My son made a big fuss of Zelda and really took to her, I'm glad about that.
I hope you are all coping with your losses and Christmas time, it's so difficult. I hope the start of a new year brings some peace to us, I can't stand the feeling of missing Ulriich too much longer. Hugs to all.

I had a dreadful day today, it was so upsetting. My niece's partner killed her beautiful little Jack Russell dog Molly last night. He did it for spite and it makes me feel physically sick thinking about it. My niece had him removed from her home by the police this morning, but he has taken her little Fox Terrier with him and we are so worried for his safety. Two months ago, her kitten was found in her yard and they presumed he was probably hit by a car, but now, I believe the partner more than likely hurt him too. the kitten did survive with a lot of vet care though, thank goodness. I am so angry, if it were me, I would not stop with the police, i would bring the RSPCA in on this, because they would prosecute him to max for this.

oh no...Madi that is terrible...how sad. Can't they get him for animal cruelty...here in most states that is a pretty big deal and jail time accompanies. Why did the police let him take the fox terrier? oh my, I hope it's ok. What a &*^%$! I'll be sending prayers for your niece and the fox terrier. Hang in there.

Hugs,
Sonya

Oh Madi I am so upset for you. What a terrible thing to happen. I've only just seen your message but I couldn't believe what I saw. That man needs seriously dealing with, I hope he gets put where he cannot get anywhere near any animals ever again. Hopefully your niece will be able to get her little fox terrier back, before he can cause any more harm.
I do hope you will all be ok. Thinking of you all and darling little Molly and of course the little Fox Terrier. Sending prayers.

Love and hugs

Madi..how is your niece? I am worried..normally people who can harm a defensless animal also have no apprehension of hurting people..I hope she has someone close by in case he comes to her house.

My niece was in Sydney visiting her son at the time of her darling dog's murder. The partner couldn't get hold of my niece because she was at the theatre with her son at the time, so he rang her sister and told her what he had done and she absolutely lost it and became hysterical, as did her 10yr old son who heard it all. My niece flew back home and together with her brother, father and the police went to the house and had him ejected from her home. It took hours to get him out and he wouldn't leave without the other dog. My niece was trying to pull it from his arms but he wouldn't let her have him. The police let him take it because he wouldn't leave otherwise. He will be using the dog as a bargaining tool no doubt, to try and wangle his way back into her life and going by past experiences with him, she has not heard the last of him I am sure of that.
Little Molly usually flew everywhere with my niece, I wish she hadn't trusted that monster with her precious baby this time.
He does have a mental disorder, not sure what his diagnosis is though. The words he uttered were "I had to do it" now that makes my blood run cold, because I had a nephew who was murdered in 2005 and his killer said the exact same words "I had to do it" Lady Wolf may have an idea of what type of hideous mental disorder causes a person to do and say such things.
The RSPCA (our countries animal protection centre) if contacted would have been much harsher on this criminal than the police were and I am pestering her to bring them in on this. They would crucify him. He would also have a criminal record if he were to be prosecuted by them.
Personally, if that dog were mine, he would never have left the house with it, I would have killed him first, police or no police presence.
The police were appalled at what they saw when they entered the house, so why would they let such a person take that other dog? Even if he was the legal owner, which he wasn't, you wouldn't think they would let him take it after what he had done to Molly.
Sonya, you are right, he would be just as capable of killing my niece as he was of killing her dog, so she is flying back to stay with her son for a while and she has already changed her phone numbers and door locks. I feel so sick when I look at the photos of Molly and Syd, the little Fox Terrier, they had a lovely home with my beautiful niece before she took that monster into her life. Hugs to all of you with your unending support.
