I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. If you scroll further down you'll find a list that some of LS members have used in the past. Haven't seen anything recent. I'm sure someone will see this and help. I so understand what your going thru. I had to put my baby down in June. They think he was hit by a car also. Even though I had 24 hrs to think about it, it still felt as if it happened instantly..My thoughts are with you. Jensen has made many new friends over the Rainbow Bridge. Please post your feelings anytime you feel up to it. Hope you find comfort here..Hugs...Ann

Thanks so much
I am so sad beyond words , Jensen was my everything ! For five years we were a team , he was a rescue who was the abused and scared of everyone and every thing and he became this handsome happy full of life guy who put a smile on so many faces and lit up a room . He was my everything and i have no idea how i am going to make it through this . Brenda |

Hi Brenda, I completely understand. Years ago I lost a cat who was my absolute world. It took me many years to accept. When I got my Arthur in 2006 I didn't fall in love with right away. I still kept thinking of my other cat Daisy and at that time 14 years had past since I lost her. It was almost like I felt guilty to give my love to another. Gosh, after 14 years I still hadn't truely healed. Well, I did fall in love with Arthur and it didn't take long, all of 2 days. I never really will get over Daisy, time just helps us to move on I guess.
After losing Arthur in June, I found this site, and have been overwhelmed over the compassion of people here who had taken the time to give me a "cyber hug" in the midst of all their pain. Even though I have not healed over this loss, I have peace knowing there is a place that I can go to (here at LS) and write about my feelings and if someone wants to respond, that's great, if not, that is ok too. I feel I can release some of the bottled up pain and I know I won't get the rolling of the eyes, the get over it already, why don't you get another cat! crap from people around me like I have been. I can't even talk to my partner about my feelings without him rolling his eyes and sighing. So I come here and it really has helped. I hope you can find that here too. You had and still have a very strong bond with Jensen. He will never really leave you. You have to believe that, and that will get you thru this...Many hugs.. Ann |
