Back again to say that I miss my dog Wally today so much. As I mentioned before, "Wally" developed Epilepsy and it was a nightmare for him -- A nightmare for all of us. He did so well on his medication at first and just when we'd relax, it would start all over. The Vet. had hoped that we could adjust his medication and that would help, but the progression was too much after time went on.

Wally loved Pooka our cat. They pretty much grew up together. Sometimes they'd fall asleep next to each other. Pooka is a smart and friendly cat. The pets had the same eating times (of course the food was separated) but that's a sign of trust for a Cat or Dog to let themselves arrange a pack order. Oh we laughed at some of the memories yesterday of how they would play. Pooka went through that awful stage of looking for him after Wally didn't come home after 4 days. He Meows differently now at times. At first I thought he might be hurt, but he misses his best pal.

I know that Wally is in a good place where there is no pain for the fear of another seizure. *Tears*. I know Wally's playing, watching the tide come in and out. He LOVED the ocean. He'd just lay down on a huge beach blanket and just dose off for a bit.

Thank you all for the replies on my first post...being new and all.

Thanks nice people. I apologize for 2 photos being attached, and starting a new topic. I think I was trying to stay with one point of the grief. Shortly after we had Wally euthanized, I swore I'd see him out of the corner of my eye up on that bed. I know it's very common. I like that photo because it was taken prior to the entire Epilepsy episode hit. Bichon puppies don't get all puffy like a Q-tip until they are older.

I am so sorry for all of your losses. I enjoy knowing that when he passed on, I had NO regrets about the love he received from me and my fiance'. For all of you, it's good to know that others took on the responsibility of owning a pet seriously. I know that made your beloved pets happy. Didn't they do so much for us even in illness?
