I came here last summer, I think, when my fine old girl was beginning to struggle. After a few frightening episodes over the ensuing months, she rallied and returned to "normal" (or as normal as a sixteen year old dog can be). She's still here! As pretty and content as ever rolleyes.gif

It's nice to be back and see all of your new friends! Love and luck to each and every one of you.

I look back on the year and I'm just so happy that she's still at it, you know?
She's cheerful, only a little uncomfortable I think, and as sweet as ever.

Last weekend at this time, I was in California. I had to make an incredibly difficult decision to be there. For the first time in thirteen years, I had to board Nori, (as well as Mouse) for three days. With her advanced age and his questionable manners, the kindest, and safest thing to do was to board them.

And they survived! And I got to officiate at my daughter's wedding!

That's great news...I'm so happy your precious old girl is doing so well. biggrin.gif I know just how you felt about boarding them. I have a twenty-three year old cat, and a 12 year old dog, and their needs figure significantly in my travel plans. In fact I hate to leave them alone in the house for more than a few hours.

Congrats on your daughter's wedding and hugs to sweet Nori, and Mouse, wub.gif
