It was wonderful seeing your name on here again Dottie, in your dear Alex's thread. So glad to have you back. You are working your magic with the wonderful images and songs, and I hope that we will have you with us for some time. There are so many new people on here, and a few of us oldies still, who will benefit so much from your 'AngelCare'.

Love and hugs

Jan and my Angels and Pixie xx

Hello Everyone. Please forgive me for not being here. I know you will.

God Bless Each of You and Your Angel Fur and Feather Kids! wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif Scale Babies too, of course. This October will be three years since Alex was abducted along with Buddy dog and Styx kitty. God smiled upon me and led me to my two fur babies exactly one day before they were to be put to death. For that, I am truly grateful! As far as Alex goes, I know he's dead and has been for a long time. It just took me ... Well, I do realize that to be true. For anyone who may be reading this, please don't do as I've done. Please, try to forgive yourself, forgive the culprits if such is your case, do anything you can to get yourself through this most gosh awful time in your life. Why? If you don't, you can cause yourself physical problems, actual physical diseases such as those relating to your heart, lungs, pancreas (diabetes), seizures, strokes, compromised immune system, and the list goes on and on and on ... Yes, even cancer. Fact.

Right here. Right now. Where you are at Lightning Strike is the most wonderful thing you can do for yourself, your family, your friends, coworkers, and even "Joe Bag 'O Donuts" who you've not yet met. But! While you are here talking, typing, whatever you want to call it ... Please, do not make the mistakes I made. I came here to talk with Alex, bring him his pretty pictures, music and videos he loved so much. Don't get me wrong. That's great to do, too. However, I rarely (practically never) spilled my guts. Dear Ones, ya gotta spill your guts even if it's several times a day, night, anytime at all. As seldom or as frequently as you're able. I've found that everyone at Lighting Strike are the most caring, compassionate, loving people and they'll all bend over backwards to get you the answers, help, videos, articles and so on that fit your own personal needs. Remember, no one can help if they don't know you're in need of help. You may think you're becoming a burden, repeating things over and over again, crying here every moment of every day? No, precious fur and feather kid mommies and daddies. No one here will ever see you that way. Why? Because they've either been through or are going through what you are right at this moment. Members and staff here don't just sympathize, they empathize and truly feel your pain, grief and devastation ...

So, please don't hide it. Please let it all out as often as you are able. It's by sharing and caring that we help each other to find that Healing Path. Me? Three years and not yet ... Because I didn't want to spill my guts. God Bless You All Most Abundantly! There are several people I wish to shout out to and say hi, I miss you, I love you and thank them again and again and again ... Gotta wind it up now because it's becoming very difficult to type ... I came here to give my Angel Feather Child Alex a very beautiful Butterfly and hope he likes it. Dearest, most Cherished, Immortal Beloved Alex, this is for you ...

A brief note to Lady Wolf: My God! I am so very sorry! And, I did prepare something very special for you. There are ... I don't have it in front of me ... I believe seven images that I either selected and enhanced or created as well as the perfect video for you and your Immortal Beloved Angel Fur Baby Lady Wolf. There are too many images to post, but perhaps I can give you the URL's to click on and just post the allotted amount of images with the video. It's been waiting for you, Hon. Again, my deepest sympathies and I do weep with you. You know that by now ...

Okay, gotta go. Love you all so much and I Wish You Peace.

Always,
Angel xoxoxox

Oh, Dottie, it is SO good to hear from you! We all worry when we don't--we know that you've been having big health problems and other big issues to contend with. Please go on doing just what you do--check in with us from time to time so that we know that you are still alive!

Yes, this IS the right place to spill your guts. This is the most compassionate, caring, loyal, wise group of people I have ever come across, and I consider myself lucky and honored all the time to be a part of this group. We ARE here to help, and nothing shocks us. We ALL go through cycles of up and down, regardless of how long it's been since we lost our last fur or feather-child. We all understand grief, and depression, and anger, and numbness, and guilt--because we've all been there ourselves.

Sending much, much love to you--thanks for the links--I'll go see if they are in one of my threads. Dottie, please take care of yourself and know that we all love you a lot!!

Big hugs from Margi, Spiritwolf, and Leopold the Strange

Hi, dear Dottie, I'm so o o o glad to see your post. Tomorrow is Oslo's 9 month anniversary of joining the angels, and you were there with me to hold my hand and share my grief. I think of you often, dear Dottie. We feel your spirit with us, comforting us, and I hope with all my heart that you feel me reaching out to you, comforting you in whatever situation you're dealing with.

Dottie, I would not know how to "successfully adjust to" the abduction of any of my beloved companions. What happened to you, Alex, and your fur companions is - - criminal. I'm so glad you were able to reunite with Buddy dog and Styx kitty, but I also know the HUGE hole that is in your heart about Alex. Alex knows you never wanted this to happen to him. Alex knows he is always in your heart, and he is always forever with you.

Dottie, again, it is soo o oo good to see you again. I hope this means you are doing better. Please know you are frequently in my thoughts and prayers, Dottie, and do so look forward to hearing from you and knowing how things are going with you.

Peace and blessings,
moon_beam

Thank you so much to Margi, Sonya, Jan, Moon Beam, and Anna. Everyone else, too. Bless you all and your Angel Fur and Feather Kids! I came to give this to my precious Alex and know he'll see and love it from The Rainbow Bridge. It's an awesome slide show that I hope all will enjoy.

Pretty! Isn't it, Alex. I Love You!!!

Thanks Dottie, that is beautiful. Alex will love it.
We get so many birds in our garden , all varieties. We are very fortunate that they visit and nest here with us. Today Dave called me as we had a beautiful Woodpecker in our Silver Birch tree, we haven't seen him before. We have the 'green woodpeckers' visit quite regularly, but he was a newcomer.
Thinking of you and your dear ones.

Hi, Dottie, it's so o o good to have you here with us again. What a beautiful collection of pictures - - Nature's beauty indeed. I so enjoy watching the woodland critters - - fur, feathered, etc. - - around my little house in the woods. It's been so horribly hot here this summer - - very horribly unseasonably hot - - that even the woodland critters have been conserving their energy and staying in the shaded thickness of the wooded areas. Every morning and evening I hold my kitty boy Noah at the doors and windows checking to see if we have any visitors to our yard. It is so nice feeling his tail wag back and forth as I'm holding him in my arms in anticipation of seeing a squirrel or bird or rabbit - - or even a little lizard that is native to our wooded area.

Dottie, you are so o o o special to us. You share such beautiful pictures and videos with us, too. You are so oo wonderfully creative with your special treasures you give to us in loving memory of our beloved companions. You are a blessing, and it is so o o o good to see you once again. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers, sweet Dottie, and look forward to knowing how you're doing.

Peace and blessings,
moon_beam

Awww, thanks so much, Jan. God bless you! And to you too, Moon Beam. Thank you, Hon! I read what you wrote and I simply cannot bear the heat. Even though I live in Florida. Even as a young child, I once came so close to having a heat stroke. Oy. Oy. Oy. You poor dear and those poor critters. Hmmm? Could it be worse there? How about this ...

In my best Rod Serling 'The Twilight Zone' voice: Imagine if you will ...

You're are a South African Bush pilot. You fly in some critical medical supplies and enjoy a quick lunch at the hospital. It's a stifling 100 degrees in the shade and you're eager to get back up to the cool, high blue yonder. On the way back to your plane, you discover that the only bit of shade within one mile has become very popular ... You start calculating the distance to the plane door ... And then wonder ... "Do I feel lucky today?"

Hey, that could be photoshopped and an urban legend. Let's get the facts from number one world's authority: Snopes ...

http://www.snopes.com/photos/animals/lionplane.asp

True! And, there's an additional photo of two more lions who've either joined them in the shade at the front of the plane, or perhaps two of them moved from under the wing to that area due to shade lessening depending on the time of day. Hmmm? I wonder when and/or if that pilot ever made it back to his craft. LOL. tongue.gif

All creatures great and small (including humans) will eventually find the shade. Both literally and speaking metaphorically. Stay in the shade, Moon Beam. Please, do stay in the shade, Dear One. You too, Jan.

Big Hugs and Lotsa Love to you and your Angel Fur Kids!!! wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif

Always, Dottie xoxoxox

Hey, Dottie - - I definitely would be calling "here, kitty kitty kitty" or trying to roar like the male lions do - - calling to my "pride" that it's time to come home. I hope when the pilot got back into the plane he didn't find a four-footed passenger / stowaway. Ah yes, life does get interesting sometimes. I liked "The Twilight Zone" too, along with The Outer Limits, One Step Beyond, Tales from the Dark Side, and of course Alfred Hitch##.

Thank you so o o much, Dottie, for sharing that with us. I live in the Blue Ridge / Piedmont region of South Central Virginia. Our temperatures for most of the summer have been 100 plus with heat indices the same. Evening temperatures have only "cooled" to the 80 something area. This past week temperatures have moderated a bit to be more "normal" but still temperatures have been in the 90's during the day and the 70's at night. I hope this isn't a preview of the opposite extreme as to what our winter is going to be like. I really am not up to shoveling snow every week like we did last winter. I am ever so grateful for the "Good Samaritans" who stopped as they were passing by to help me.

Again, Dottie, it is so o o o o good to have you with us again. I hope you have a very peaceful and comfortable evening, dear Dottie.

Peace and blessings,
moon_beam

{{{{{MOON BEAM}}}}} THANK YOU MUCH FOR YOUR WONDERFUL REPLY. I NEEDED THAT. BIG HUGS AND LOTSA LOVE! wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif

FOR ANYONE READING THIS, PLEASE PARDON ALL CAP LETTERS. I'M NOT SHOUTING. JUST EASIER TO SEE AND TYPE IN CAPS. THANKS FOR UNDERSTANDING. ALSO PLEASE PARDON ME TALKING IN PHASES AND NOT SENTENCES AS I'M BETTER NOW, BUT STILL QUITE SHAKEN AND UPSET ABOUT THIS MORNING. DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT IN CYBERSHOULDER AREA BECAUSE I'VE GOT SOME LOVELY THINGS THERE TO SHARE WITH THOSE WHO ARE GRIEVING AND DON'T WANT TO BEGIN A NEW THREAD SINCE THE "MOMENTS OF ANIMAL AWE" THREAD IS AT THE TOP. MOST PEOPLE HERE NEED THAT RIGHT NOW.

TO KEEP IT SIMPLE, WILL COPY AND PASTE THE EMAIL I SENT TO DEBBIE THIS MORNING. BEGINNING NOW ...

SUBJECT: DEBBIE, HERE IS WHAT HAPPENED ...

HI DEBBIE,

PLEASE PARDON ALL CAP LETTERS. YES, I AM ANGRY. BUT, THAT'S NOT WHY I'M TYPING IN CAPS. IT'S CUZ IT'S EASIER FOR ME. THANK YOU MUCH FOR UNDERSTANDING.

BEFORE I TELL YOU WHAT HAPPENED, I WANT YOU TO KNOW I'M NOT ANGRY AT THE MAN IN THE CAR (HE WAS WONDERFUL), NOT AT THE DOG AND ... I'M MAD AS HELL AT THE LADY. THAT'S WHY I'M UPSET AND ... SO HARD TO TYPE. WILL DO MY BEST ...

WAS AROUND 8:30 AM OR 8:45 AM. HAD BAD STOMACH ACHE AND FELT I COULD WALK TO CORNER STORE TAKING IT REALLY SLOW TO GET SOME MYLANTA, PEPTO BISMOL OR SOME KIND OF ANTACID CUZ ALL OUT OF BAKING SODA WHICH WORKS SO WELL AND ...

I STEPPED OUTSIDE MY FRONT DOOR. STARTED TO WALK THE SHORT DISTANCE TO THE STREET. LADY WAS IN THE LAWN AT THE HOUSE DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM ME. GEE, WONDERING NOW IF WAS SAME LADY I TOLD YOU ABOUT WHEN I HEARD THE FEMALE CHILD SCREAMING FOR HELP. YOU REMEMBER ME SAYING ALL THAT HAPPENED ...

ANYWAY, SHE LOOKS THE SAME EXCEPT CHILD INCIDENT HAPPENED AT NIGHT. TODAY SHE WAS DRESSED IN MORE MODERN FASHION ... SORT OF YUPPIE ... WEARING SHORTS, BLOUSE AND NEATO CAP. LOOKED STYLISH. SHE WAS IN THE YARD, NEAR THE HOUSE, TALKING ON A CELL PHONE ...

I SUPPOSE THAT RULES OUT HER BEING DEAF?

AS I GET CLOSER TO STREET. WAIT. REMEMBER THAT ALL THIS HAPPENED VERY FAST. LESS THAN A MINUTE AND POSSIBLY LESS THAN 30 OR EVEN 15 SECONDS. WORD! BACK TO WHERE I WAS. APPROACHING THE STREET TO GO TO THE CORNER STORE. TWO DOGS WITH THE LADY BEGIN TO BARK. I WAS VERY FRIENDLY WHEN SHE TOLD THEM TO "SHUT THE HELL UP" AND USED A FEW MORE COLORFUL WORDS. THEN I SAID IN CHEERFUL VOICE THAT'S IT'S OKAY AND SAID SOMETHING SOOTHING TO THE DOGS LIKE, "WHAT GOOD DOGGIES YOU ARE. PRETTY DOGGIES. EVERYTHING'S FINE. YOU'RE BOTH SUCH SWEET DOGGIES." I WAS ATTEMPTING TO CALM THEM DOWN CUZ HER DOUBLE WIDE GATES WERE OPEN AND THEY MIGHT RUN OUT AND GET HURT. OH, MY VOICE WAS SOFT. NOT LOUD IN THE LEAST. THEN ...

BOTH DOGS RAN OUT OF THE YARD. ONE OF THEM STAYED ON THE GRASS JUST OUTSIDE THE FENCE. SMALLER THAN THE ##ER SPANIEL, BUT I DON'T KNOW WHAT BREED OR IF IS EVEN A "MUTT." THE BEAUTIFULLY GROOMED, CREAM (BEIGE? TAN? BISQUE?) ##ER SPANIEL WANTED TO GET FRIENDLY WITH ME. BAD IDEA THAT I SPOKE TO THE DOGS AT ALL. BOTH FRIENDLY, AT LEAST I KNOW THE ##ER SPANIEL IS PLAYFUL, AFFECTIONATE AND WANTED TO GREET ME ...

EVEN THOUGH I'M BLIND AS A BAT, I'VE GOT EXCELLENT PERIPHERAL VISION SO WHILE LOOKING AT THE DOG AS IT RAN TO ME, I SAW A SPEEDING CAR COMING DOWN THE STREET OUT OF LEFT EYE. OMG!!! MEANWHILE, LADY IS STILL IN THE YARD. SHE SEES THE SPEEDING CAR. SEES THE DOG RUNNING IN FRONT OF CAR TO GET TO ME. DOG DOES NOT LOOK TO CAR AT ALL ...

DEBBIE, I RAN!!! ohmy.gif WAVING MY CANE LIKE CRAZY TO GET MALE DRIVER'S ATTENTION. POINTING ARMS AND CANE AT DOG AND WAVING BOTH ARMS LIKE A LUNATIC. YES, LADY SAW ALL THIS, STILL IN YARD ACROSS STREET WAY BACK NEAR HOUSE AND GINGERLY STROLLING WHILE TALKING ON CELL PHONE. IGNORING MY CALLS TO HER, YADA, YADA, YADA ... I AM BEING VERY ACCURATE ABOUT ALL THIS. PROMISE. CAR REACHES ME AS I PUT MYSELF BETWEEN THE SWEET ##ER SPANIEL AND CAR WITH BOTH ARMS EXTENDED FORWARD AS THOUGH I BELIEVE THAT I'M SUPERWOMAN AND CAN STOP THE CAR ...

YES, I KNOW I'M AN IDIOT FOR DOING THAT. JUST HAPPENED SO FAST. SO VERY FAST AND I REACTED THAT WAY WITHOUT THINKING. DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO THINK, DEBS. I MEAN, DANG! CAR DID STOP. MAN IN CAR LOOKED TO BE IN HIS EARLY TO MID 40'S, YADA, YADA, YADA AND HE SMILED AND NODDED TO ME. I SMILED BACK AND MOUTHED THANK YOU AGAIN AND AGAIN CUZ I KNEW HE MOST LIKELY COULDN'T HEAR SINCE HIS WINDOWS WERE ALL ROLLED UP. IT WAS MODERN AND VERY NICE LOOKING CAR WHICH IS TELLING ME THAT THE GUY AIN'T SOME CRACK DUDE OR ... YOU GET THE PICTURE. ALSO HE WAS WELL DRESSED. GOD SMILED ON US, DEBBIE! MOST AUTOS TRAVELING THIS STREET LOOK LIKE THEY COME FROM A JUNK YARD, BUT DO HAVE SOME FANCY STUFF AND LOUD MUSIC WHILE SPEEDING, YADA, YADA, YADA ...

NEXT: LADY (AT SLOW PACE WHILE STILL ON CELL PHONE) DECIDES PERHAPS IT MIGHT BE A GOOD TIME TO PAUSE HER CONVERSATION (YES, I'M BEING SARCASTIC) AND COLLECTS THE ##ER SPANIEL AND OTHER DOG. THEY GO BACK IN THE YARD ACROSS THE STREET FROM ME. NOW GET THIS: SHE SAW EVERYTHING. I SAW HER SEE EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED AND HOW THE ##ER SPANIEL FREAKED AT THAT LAST MOMENT ... THE LADY DID NOT CLOSE THE DOUBLE WIDE GATES. WHAT A MAROON!!!

NEXT: WONDERFUL, SMILING MAN IN NICE CAR PULLS AWAY TO CONTINUE DOWN THE STREET. AT THAT PRECISE MOMENT, A GUY IN HIS EARLY 30'S RIDES HIS BICYCLE DOWN THE STREET COMING FROM SAME DIRECTION AS CAR DID. SO, BEING AS PI$$ED OFF AS I WAS, THEN I GOT STUPID. SAID "HI" TO THE BIKER AND SOMETHING TO THE EFFECT OF: "DID YOU SEE THAT?" MY VOICE IS GETTING SOMEWHAT LOUD, BUT NOT SCREAMING IN ANGER. YET. AGAIN: "DID YOU SEE THAT? AND HER GATE'S ARE STILL OPEN. YOU'D THINK AFTER YOUR DOG CAME SO CLOSE TO BEING RUN OVER, YOU'D AT LEAST CLOSE THE GATES. (INSERT GROAN) SOME PEOPLE!" AT THAT POINT IN TIME, I TURNED AROUND AS I GOT FARTHER AWAY WALKING TO THE STORE. I WANTED TO SEE WHAT, IF ANYTHING, THE LADY WAS DOING TO PROTECT AND COMFORT THAT FREAKED OUT POOCH ...

LET ME JUST COPY AND PASTE: SHE WAS IN THE YARD, NEAR THE HOUSE, TALKING ON A CELL PHONE ... VERY NONCHALANT. JE NE SAIS QUOI. KEY SERA SERA. BUT, SHE WAS EYE BALLING ME. I GAVE HER A DISGUSTING LOOK, TURNED BACK AROUND, KEPT WALKING TOWARD CORNER STORE ... AND LOUDLY SAID, "A-HOLE." NO, I DID NOT SAY A$$ HOLE. I SAID A-HOLE. WHAT THE FREAK IS UP WITH PEOPLE LIKE THAT??? OKAY, I DON'T KNOW IF SHE LIVES THERE OR WAS VISITING AND CAN ONLY SPECULATE. ALSO, ARE THOSE HER DOGS? I DO NOT KNOW, HOWEVER IT'S MY BEST GUESS. COULD VERY WELL BE WRONG AND SHE WAS PET SITTING. BUT DAYUM!!! SO ...

THE REASON I'M THIS "MAD" (AND THAT'S A GOOD WORD FOR IT) IS BECAUSE OF THAT LADY'S AFFECT AND REACTION ... NO. LACK OF ANY REACTION, SHOWING NO EMOTIONS, YADA, YADA, YADA. I SURE AS HECK AIN'T GONNA SPEAK WITH HER EVEN WHEN CALM. SHE MAY BE A REAL LOONY TUNES. ONE NEVER KNOWS AND IT'S BEST TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE. STILL, YOU BET I'M GONNA CALMLY REPORT WHAT HAPPENED TO THE HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY ANIMAL SERVICES. NOT THAT THEY'LL DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. HOWEVER, IT WILL MAKE ME FEEL A WHOLE LOT BETTER.

DEBBIE, BOTH DOGS WERE BEAUTIFULLY GROOMED AND THE ##ER SPANIEL LOOKED LIKE IT COULD BE A SHOW DOG. JUST DESCRIBING THEM. THE OTHER DOG IS SLIGHTLY SMALLER WITH SHORT FUR THOUGH AND ALSO LIGHT COLORED. TAN AND WHITE ...

THIS IS ALSO TELLING IF ONE THINKS ABOUT THAT LADY'S DEMEANOR REGARDING THE DOG COMING WITHIN A SECOND FROM INJURY OR DEATH IN FRONT OF HER EYES WHILE SHE YADA, YADA, YADA. SOME PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY FEMALES, KEEP THOSE KIND OF DOGS TO SHOW OFF THEIR STATUS AND WHAT HAVE YOU. HAPPENS LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS. YOU KNOW THAT. PEOPLE LIKE HER DON'T DESERVE THE UNCONDITIONAL LOVE OF A FUR KID!!! DOES SHE HAVE ANY CHILDREN? I HOPE NOT!

OKAY, I THINK I'M DONE FOR NOW. SO VERY SORRY FOR CALLING YOU THIS MORNING. I WAS POSITIVE YOU'D BE GONE TO WORK BY THEN AND I'D GET YOUR RECORDER.

THANKS LOADS FOR ALLOWING ME TO VENT.

HUGS,
DOTTIE xoxoxox

THAT'S THE END OF EMAIL. THANKS TO ALL HERE AT LS FOR LETTING ME VENT.

GOD BLESS YOU AND ALL YOUR ANGEL FUR AND FEATHER KIDS MOST ABUNDANTLY! wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif

Hi, Dottie, you are so o o creative with the graphics. What a blessing you are to us!! We are enjoying beautiful weather here today. I have the big basement door open and gated off so that Noah and I can enjoy listening to the woodland critters. One of the residents has chickens and a rooster (or roosters) and at least one of the roosters has been crowing all day long. It is so funny -- and wonderful - - to listen to.

Thanks again, Dottie. I hope life is treating you kindly. I'm s o o o o glad that the episode with the dog and the driver turned out okay. Bless you for putting your life in harm's way to save the precious furkid. And, I hope you are feeling better today with the antacid medication.

Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers, Dottie, and look forward to hearing from you.

Peace and blessings,
moon_beam

Hi there, Moon Beam. So glad to hear the weather's not as hot today. I don't get to hear many if any woodland critters around here. We've got raccoons, squirrels, possums and the like though. However, it's so great that I get to at least hear a rooster, too. I'm fairly certain from the crowing that it's just that one. The sound comes from in back where I live and perhaps three to five blocks away. No, I'm not making this up. Promise. There are times when I hear him crowing only in the very early morning. Other times he crows at night and many times during the day. It's music to my ears too, just like you. Awww!

I'm so pleased that you liked my response to you in the form of that graphic I made. LOL. It's so much easier for me to speak using images than ... Wait. I write a whole lot of poetry. Wait yet again. Many, and perhaps most, of my poems are inspired by photos, art, images and so forth that I see. Oh, and videos. That is obvious.

As far as me putting my life in harm's way to save the doggie, that wasn't heroic. Naw, not really. I feel another Rod Serling moment: "Imagine if you will. You're a shut in and never leave your house. But, you've got a tummy ache and want some medicine. You know you can make the short trip to the corner store safely if you just walk very slowly and are careful. As you leave your home and approach the street, a dear, sweet, friendly dog sees you and wants to play with you. The dog runs to you. A car comes speeding out of nowhere and hits the dog. The dog is dead. All because you chose this one time to leave your house ...

Also: Imagine if you will. The dog's owner saw everything that happened. A stylish woman in her 30's. She's talking on a cell phone near the house in a fenced in lawn with the double wide gates open. She couldn't care less about her dog being dead nor the cries of a small female child screaming for help. Further, imagine if you will that Moon Beam receives a phone call from her pal Dottie. Dottie's a calm, laid back, rational lady. Not this time. Dottie's phone call to Moon Beam comes from the county jail as she requests that Moon Beam send her some money from her checking account because she trusts Moon Beam with her personal banking information.

Why is this sweet, dear, lovely lady in jail with need of bail money? Because she went Jackie Chan on the cell phone lady's butt and whacked her into the next millennium. Stay tuned next episode to find the cell phone lady's reaction at suddenly finding herself millions of years in the future. That's when she finally reacts with anguish. Why? Her cell phone battery is low and there's no way she can recharge it. A real nightmare for her. Will Karma get the cell phone lady but good and proper? We shall witness that revelation. I'll see you next week in this place we like to call The Twilight Zone."

And, there you have it, Moon Beam. Yes, I would have become hysterical if that pooch had been hit while running to play with me. Yes, and I would have gone Jackie Chan on the cell phone lady if she remained completely without emotions or even cared. It was obvious that her phone chatting was far more important than the life of a creature. Even her own fur kid ...

Moon Beam, she is really the one who got lucky. You know me well enough by now and am aware how very much of a "walk away" person that I am. I wouldn't have been had the dog been hit and the lady did nothing. Yes, it's difficult to walk at times. The cane helps. However, something happened! It's just like the mother who's able to lift a car off her child to save it. Why do I have such strong maternal instincts even though childless? I just dunno. So very glad for people like us that do have that instinct though. Dang Skippy!

By the way, they're having problems with Troodon dinosaurs in many UK residential areas. Making pests of themselves as they go through the garbage cans outside and making a mess of their cars. Well, I've got at least one here. The Troodon dinosaur is in the raptor family, but I still fear one may get at Buddy dog when he's outside. Here's a BBC news video so you can see them.

I managed to snap a photo of two the other night out in the back. Lookie ...

Terrifying, isn't it? And, they sure do yap a lot. rolleyes.gif

Hi, Dottie, I'm winding down for the day, getting ready to shut down this gizmo for the night, but before I do I just wanted to thank you for the WONDERFUL Twilight Zone scenario. Yep - - been there, too, just about every day at work I would LOVE to send the office Drama Queen on a one way ticket into the "Outer Limits".

I think if that Troodon got a taste of me he'd spit me out with a big "yuk" - - I'm not "fresh meat" by any stretch of the imagination. I'm probably more suitable for shark bait or a gator snack - - they'll eat just about anything.

Dottie, I hope you have a very pleasant and peaceful evening. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers, and will look forward to sharing your news when possible. Pleasant dreams, my friend.

Peace and blessings,
moon_beam
