I can't stop crying. About an hour ago I was walking through the park and I saw a guy with his border collie. I went over to see it, and as soon as I saw it's face I started bawling. The owner was like: ??????? So I told him about Luba and he was very nice. He said that he can't even think about that happening to his dog.

It's so sad. Today is not a good day.

Steph -- I have been doing very well--but today I went out into our big back yard, went deep into the yard---where Ginger hung out. God it was so sad, looking around where he always was--and now is not. it is so empty!! he was so beautiful in the sunshine. He came when he was called---I miss him so much!!! the yard is a sad place without him!!!!! it is so sad to look at all the places he "frequented"--I always looked for him once or twice in the day to make sure he was in the yard. I hate that I lost him. I hate that you lost Luba.

Ginger was part Norwegian Forest Cat. When I first took him in he was a meanie, so his full name was "Gingersnap", and I did not change his name after I learned she was a he.

Steph,

I know how rough certain days can be. I'm sorry today was so hard for you! Did it get any easier? Did anything make you feel better? I hope so. Luba wants only the best for you.

Write any time.

Love,

Kathy

Dear Steph,
I am really sorry. I hope that you're having a better day today. I can relate to your story. This week I saw a black lab that was very similar to my Jordan and I had a very hard time, too. I couldn't bring myself to go over to this dog but just watched from nearby. It was torture. It passed...until the next time, I'm sure. Take care.

Thanks everyone. Yes, today is better. I just had a visit with a lady down the street who trains and boards dogs. It was fun having all the furbabies come and meet me. My other dog, Falkor is having a better day with his arthritis too, so overall things are better.

Anin, I had read your post about the black lab, and wondered how I would react to seeing a border collie. Hours later I had my answer. It's tough. sad.gif

I hear you Gingerspal. Today I thought that I saw Luba in the office, but it was just my bit old black knapsack. sad.gif
