We were very fortunate to share our lives with this wonderful dog named Cyber. She only lived 6 short years but every day was a special one with her. Unfortunately on October 20th, we had to put her to sleep. She became bloated and by the time we took her to the vet it was already to late to save her. It was the hardest thing to do. We miss her dearly but we treasure the memories we have of her. She loved going on rides to the lake and she loved chasing squirrels and cats. Her greeting when coming home was always happy and excited. I am thankful for the time we had with her, what a perfect dog she was!! We love you, Cyber and we miss you!!

I am so sorry about Cyber. His picture is really great...he looks just like he would love to give someone a big slurp! Don't hesitate to come here and talk about him, whatever you need to say to help your healing process. There are many here going through the same grieving process and we find that sharing helps heal.
This looks like a perfect picture for your avatar (picture under your name).
We love to see pictures here and I have found that looking at pictures of my Little Guy when he was healthy and happy makes me feel good inside at the memory of such a wonderful time for us.

Take Care.............

I am so sorry that you had to lose such a beautiful little girl so young. That darn bloat-I know it all too well. It's good that Cyber liked to take rides-my Duffy hated them. It was so hard to get him in the car.

I'm glad you are here-you will find much help here to get through this pain. The people in this forum are some of the best people out there-why wouldn't they be-they are animal lovers. I'm here for you whenever you need a shoulder.

Thank you everyone for the kind replies. It really helps me to talk about it and share with others who have had similar experiences. We miss her daily and it still seems unreal that she is gone somedays.

What an absolutely gorgeous picture! As it unfolded on my screen in beautiful color, my mouth just dropped open....it is such a great picture. Yes, many of us are where you are, have been there, and probably will go there again. It does help to talk and share pictures and memories as well as vent, cry, whatever helps at the moment in time.

We have our stories and our Tributes here and also some have managed to be in the New Beginnings Section where there are more smiles. Everything takes time.

Whether it is sharing what happened, how you feel, sharing good memories.....it all helps. There are many here who will respond. We seem to form a bond of helping one another through our devastation and grief. Keep in touch and bring more pictures.

Little Guy's Mom....forever

Thanks again for all of the replies. I am doing a little better after the weekend. Tomorrow marks the one month anniversary----I can't believe I have made it a month without her already. The holidays will be hard, I keep looking at pictures and wishing she was there to share with us. I am going to look for another one of my favorite pictures of her.
