I hope this works...here is Patches, Precious' new "little brother"! I adopted him two weeks ago. He's four years old and part Norweigan Forest Cat/Maine Coon/Turkish Angora. A lot of hair! But so cuddly and sweet.

Thank you! He's about 9 1/2 pounds and looks bigger because of all that hair! (LOL)
He's starting to sleep through the night and I don't have to leave a night-light on for him. He's playful and loves to chase the rent-a-cats because one looks like one of his foster-mum's cats (who was named Precious, yike what coincidence!) but he's calming down a bit. My dad loves to pick him up and talk baby-talk to him, which he never attempted to do with Precious because Precious never let anyone but me do that! Precious would have loved him as a little brother! Lisa

Lisa, Patches is so beautiful. He has that sweet face like Dugan did. I think that is the Maine Coon in him. An easy face to fall in love with. May your life with him be filled with joy, health, happiness and much comfort.
I bet Precious is Patches very own Guardian Angel Dugan's Mom Krissyo -------------------- Dugan, not goodbye just till we meet again.

Patches is absolutely beautiful. I know he has found a loving home with you and wish you lots of cuddles and love with your new baby. His coloring reminds me a little of Scooter, but Scooter had short hair.

Thank you, everyone! He is a real joy (sometimes a pain when he wakes me up in the middle of the night) but a very laid-back, sweet-natured baby. He's been acting the kitten lately, taking off like a shot through the house and chasing the rent-a-cats but not being destructive at all! No furniture-scratching. Always uses his litter box, no territorial spraying which is unusual!
I hope those of you who may be considering adoption will take comfort in the fact that you will know when the time is right to add to your family. It was soon for me but it was clearly meant to be! Lisa

No, actually they are my dad's two cats, Tigger and Snookaroo, who were there for me during Precious' illness and after his death. Tig in particular was the gallant one, coming up to me and nudging my leg if I was crying (he did that right after I came home from the emergency clinic after Precious died). I took him for a walk around the yard on Precious' leash (I had to train him, 16 years young, to walk on one after he had surgery on both ears for skin cancer, so he can't go outside unassisted anymore for fear of recurrence) and that morning seemed so beautiful and bright it was almost too much to bear. I sat down on a brick wall and Tig sat beside me, and that's when the first dragonfly appeared to me! I know it was Precious sending me a sign that he was all right and that he was free of pain.
Snook warmed up to me a lot more after Precious died. He has always been my Dad's cat, he'd never let another family member touch him. I can now hold him and carry him around and even kiss him a little...then he's had enough and he takes off for Dad. But what a change!! Lisa
