It's been two months now since I helped Simba go to the bridge. Not a day has gone by where I haven't thought about him and wished he was still here. Simba II has been such a great friend to me. It probably would have been very hard to get through the past 2 months without my new furbuddy.
This morning I heard a "thump" on the kitchen floor like the sound when Simba would jump off the kitchen counter (even though he knew he wasn't supposed to be up there to begin with) onto the floor. I thought it was Simba II but I seen that he was laying on the couch right above me and looking into the kitchen like he heard it too. ![]() ![]() -------------------- |

Great story...yep, Simba I was telling you he is still around somehow. Thanks for sharing.
I saw in another post you are contemplating a 2nd buddy for Simba II. I think about this too for Ginger... -------------------- |

That is a wonderful story. I never have any of those things happen since Yoda was pts. I hope he has forgiven me for leaving him there at the hospital.
We do have another buddy--Morpheus-- as a companion for Tilo now. Munchy does seem to love Tilo, but he is too active for him. So we got him a playmate. I forgot how active kittens and younger cats are. It is very busy around our house now, but I still miss Yoda. Cats are like potato chips--You can't have just one!! Theresa |
