I am missing my beloved friend Homer. He went to sleep in my arms on Christmas eve after only 11 years together. It seems like so long ago, yet it's not. Time stands still without him. I still talk to him every day, though it's not the same by far, it helps me keep his memory fresh. So much has changed since he left, I now have the yard I always promised him, so I am looking for the perfect memorial for his garden - though nothing will ever seem 'good enough' for Homer's huge spirit. I can see him basking in the sun, and never wanting to come inside. Though he is not here, I feel him around me, and his presence is always with me.

I love you Homer!

Your friend Homer was a beautiful cat!

Thank you for sharing the photo. May you find peace and comfort as Homer has found now over The Rainbow.

peace be with you.

For Homer
Goodnight sweet prince, may flights of angels guide thee to thy rest.
Sleep well.
Liegh, you are in my thoughts and prayers this evening.

Since in a few short months it will be 1 year since Homer passed on, I'm trying to figure out what I shoud do for a tribute to him on the anniversary. Does anyone have any suggestions on a great way to hold a special memorial for him? I think I need to plan it so I get it right.
