Dear Pepe,
I can feel you in my lap.....I've reached down and picked you up....you're purring and laying down .. only instead of laying so slowly and stiffly you dont have the pain anymore. I still haven't slept in the bed without you .... Aspen and Amoco slept with me last night on the couch and Aspen is at my feet right now. They still act as if you're in my lap and wont invade your space. I printed a beautiful picture of us.....the one we took Sunday outside. I rewalked your little steps yesterday with Belvedere and Molly. No rushing like they usually do....just sniffing where you were. I found some locks of your fur that I'm keeping along with our picture. How can I get over the pain I feel without you?....Please dont let me forget the feel of your little body against my chest, the way you felt to my hand, your little purr. I protected you through so many things.... remember the time the sheperd dog chased you and I got in between you .... so you could run inside. You were panting and so scared.... Remember when we moved to Clarksville....you got lost for 5 days....I searched the fields and woods and thought you were gone forever....then when I began to give up hope .... there you were....you found your way back to me .... even though you didnt have any clue where you were.... Please dont forget me Pepe.....Please play and be happy in the fields and woods of heaven ..... but please find your way back to me. The love I have for you is bigger than the size of my heart right now ... I love you Pepe Huggies, Huggies, Huggies Dove daddyman -------------------- Aspen is the gray and white kitty...She is very ill and needs your prayers.
Pepe adopted me as an adult when I was 17 yrs old and I had him for 23 years....he passed away August 14 2006 at 7:07 P.M. |

I have tears in my eyes from that beautiful tribute to your Pepe. Surely you will meet in Heaven to love and be with each other forever. Please keep writing here, it is a sad but wonderful place to write your memories.

That was a beautiful tribute. The love that everyone here has for their beloved friends is truly wonderful. I am so happy that there are many others that love their pets with all their hearts - even after passing. My heart goes out to you and to everyone that has lost a special pet(s). They will live on forever in our hearts.
