Today we had a memorial service for Lucy at her favorite spot where she liked to hide or hang out in the sun. I miss her so much. It's really hard to say good-bye. It's just too much to take in. It's impossible to believe that she's gone. But I know she's in heaven, and that's what I would want for her--to be in the best place possible.

That was a beautiful thing you did, having a memorial service for Lucy. She sure was a beautiful cat, and I know she was watching from Heaven as you remembered her at her memorial service. It is always so hard losing a pet, I know you will cherish your memories of her, especially remembering her at her favorite spot in the garden and in your heart.

Ahhhh...thanks for sharing your memorial service for Lucy in the garden. What a lovely way to honor her memory and your grief. She was so loved. I hope you feel some peace...

Tanner,
It will take time - no one can know how much - to find peace in the face of this loss, but your memorial service is a first step to finding that peace. Yes, Lucy is in Heaven, and she will always be in your heart and memory as well. You can never have that taken away, those memories will be with you throughout your life. Thanks for letting us know how you're doing. Take care - Barbara
