Hi everyone.

First let me say that I don't mean to offend or hurt anyone with this posting, I just feel I need to say that it upsets me when I hear of healthy dog being euthanized because of behavioral problems. Some dogs belong in homes with no children, some belong in homes with only one adult - sometimes a man, sometimes a woman. Some don't belong in a city - but as Father Flanagan once said about boys - I don't believe that there is any such thing as a bad dog. There are frightened dogs, abused dogs, unhappy dogs - all can be trained.

Maybe I am just naive.

What do you mean by "behavior problems"?

Some dogs appear physically healthy but are neurologically ill and cannot be effectively treated. In that case, it is generally more humane to go ahead with euthanization-to offer final peace to a suffering soul.
