Hello all....Just a note to say that all is well with the new furbaby here... biggrin.gif I named her Payton, and she is now 12 weeks old and already at 14 lbs!! She's going to be big. Doggie daddy and I think that she is border collie, but the pound said she was Akita Mix. I dunno, but she sure is cute, and cuddly. Of course I miss my Zip, and he'll always be my best boy. I look at his picture every day, and I talk to him often. Sometimes I "feel" he is here with me. Just little things make me think he is. I still wish I could just run up to the vet and pick him up, but the cold reality is still here. Atleast the house isn't so empty. The pitter patter of puppy paws abounds on a regular basis. Just wanted to post a pic of Payton. Thanks again guys for everything. I really feel like I know all of you, (even tho I don't). Thanks again..HUGS------Zipper's Momma

VERY CUTE! I recognized your name and the word "furbaby". You were one of the kind people who helped me out with my cat "Piper" who is now frollicking around in his own room. If this "furbaby" only knew how lucky she is, although I'm sure she will realize it in short order. I'm sure she could not ask for a better home. God bless you both! biggrin.gif

Hi Zipper's Mom:

Payton is adorable, and I am sure that you & doggie daddy are very, very happy!!!! wub.gif Payton looks thrilled with her new home!!

How very lucky you all are!!

Of course you miss your Zipper, but, when you said, "I feel like he is here with me" --- you know, I truly believe his Spirit lives in you..... So, he is there...

I believe that our girl, Ernie-Bird is here and watching over all of us --- We'll always love her; she was just a very special wonderful, baby girl!!!

Sometimes, when one of our new furbabies are "not behaving", I show a picture of Ernestine, and say, "Now you look at her, what is she saying to you????" They'll sniff the picture and look at her.....

Well, I wish you much love and all the best........

And, to this I say, Life does go on...........

Love, Denise

It's wonderful that you've got a new furbaby! Although you'll miss the stuff that was so endearing about Zipper, take comfort in knowing he's happy and looking out for you. I'm certain he's glad that you're forging a new relationship with Payton and that she brings joy into your life smile.gif I just got a new furry too... though the absence of my departed friend still hits keenly sometimes, hearing the new lil' guy scampering around makes the heartache so much more bearable.

P.S. Payton is absolutely gorgeous! Border collies are have such sweet temperaments biggrin.gif

Here's to the newest addition to your family,

Cheers,
Lima.
